Abstract

The competency of elementary school teachers does not all meet national standards, thus affecting student learning outcomes and the achievement of national education standards. The urgency of this research is the need for effective and sustainable education management strategies to improve teacher competency comprehensively. This study aims to analyze the framework of adaptive and sustainable education management strategies, analyze the factors that support success, and formulate appropriate policy recommendations. The research method used a quantitative approach with descriptive regression analysis on data from 230 randomly selected teachers in Jakarta. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression. The study results indicate that effective learning management strategies, transformational leadership support, and resources significantly improve teacher competency. These findings indicate the need to strengthen continuous professional development programs and transparent performance evaluations. It is concluded that comprehensive and adaptive education management strategies can improve teacher competency, support the achievement of national education standards, and improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Suggestions are provided to the government and educational institutions to promote innovation and collaboration in the continuous development of teacher competency.

Abstract

Abstract: Clinical Supervision to Improve Teachers Teaching Performance in Secondary Schools: A Comprehensive Study. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effect of clinical supervision on the teaching performance of teachers in secondary schools. Method: Quantitative research method with a combination of teaching and learning observation instruments and adapted from all school assessments. The subjects were 43 secondary school teachers. Data collection techniques use observation instruments. This instrument was developed from indicators used as a tool to measure teacher performance. The instrument is given a score from point 1 to point 5. The analysis technique uses SPSS Version 25.0 with measurements based on Learning Plans, induction tools, material delivery, questioning techniques, student involvement, reinforcement, training and student assignments, checking training and student assignments, closing learning, and classroom management before and after clinical supervision. Findings: The findings of this research help teachers in schools to know the strengths and weaknesses when teaching is delivered in class. Clinical supervision also helps teachers improve the teaching and learning process more effectively. Clinical supervision can also be used as a guide for high school students to increase their knowledge. Abstract

The Cikolelet tourist village is a developing tourist village with tourism potential in the form of natural resources, arts and culture and the creative economy of its residents. Its strategic location, not far from Anyer beach, makes this village a destination for students and the general public who are interested in enjoying the tourism being developed. This community service was carried out in the Cikolelet Tourism Village, Banten Regency with the target partner being the Tourism Awareness Group. Pokdarwis. The problems faced by Pokdarwis members are limited human resources, managerial abilities and limitations in carrying out tourism promotions. The aim of this community service is to improve the skills and knowledge of Pokdarwis members in managing tourists. This service method includes counseling, observation and evaluation in practical training. It is hoped that the results of this activity will be able to strengthen the tourism potential in the Cikolelet tourist village and provide direct benefits to the local community. For various fun games, angklung and archery games, adequate infrastructure and facilities are available and the Pokdarwis team has mastered various game methods and techniques. Based on observations and interviews with Pokdarwis members, they have worked and served tourists well, with evidence that there are many homestays, games, food products and good angklung training services. The conclusion of this activity is that participants gain knowledge about homestay management, managerial tourist records, skills in excellent service and bookkeeping of financial reports for payments from tourists.

Abstract

Margaluyu Village is one of the rural areas in West Java that still faces various challenges related to access to health and education services. Limited resources and infrastructure are the main obstacles in efforts to improve community welfare. Based on statistical data on the population according to occupation in Margaluyu village, the number of people who have not/don't work is around 3803, which is the largest number in the population data group based on occupation. From community service to increase the knowledge, skills and awareness of posyandu cadres and teachers in providing quality health services and effective learning to the people of Margaluyu Village, so that they can contribute to improving the welfare and quality of life of the community as a whole. Activities were carried out using training and discussion methods to increase the knowledge of posyandu cadres and teachers in Margaluyu village.  The result is increased basic health knowledge and improved teaching skills thereby providing quality health services to the community and students. This training plan includes clear objectives, relevant material, interactive learning methods, and a structured implementation schedule. Conclusion: Conclusion: Posyandu cadre and teacher training has an important role in improving the health and education of the Margaluyu Village community. To continue to improve the quality and coverage of training programs, as well as expand collaboration with various related parties, such as educational institutions, health and village governments. So that a greater impact can be created in improving the health and education of the people of Margaluyu Village in a sustainable manner

Abstract

Sukabumi City is famous for MSMEs that make ginger candy.   This MSME is located in RW 18, Cisarua Village, Sukabumi City. They have land for ginger plants but the ginger plants can only be harvested after they are 9 months old. The problem faced by PP is that PKK women, youth groups and ginger cultivators have not been able to process food and drinks made from ginger optimally. The main products of this village are currently only ginger candy and several processed ginger derivative products which are only in the trial stage. Training on processing food and drinks made from emprit ginger is a community service activity aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of the PKK group, Karangtaruna, and ginger plant cultivators in Cisarua Village, Sukabumi City.   Emprit ginger, chosen as the main ingredient, has high nutritional value and health benefits. This training is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy and improve community welfare. It is hoped that processed food and beverage products made from ginger can become a mainstay of village products. This community service method uses lecture methods, practical demonstrations of making processed foods and drinks made from ginger and interviews. With this combination of qualitative methods, it is hoped that the training results will be maximized. The final result of the training was that PKK women, Karangtaruna and ginger cultivators were able to process ginger into various foods and drinks with high taste for sale and marketing. Participants can demonstrate how to prepare ginger-based dishes and drinks under the guidance of a team of community service presenters. This demonstration will be held on September 5-6 2023. This training was successful in increasing participants' knowledge and skills in processing emprit ginger into various kinds of food and drink products with economic value with the indicator that participants were able to process ginger into various foods and drinks with high selling value. The foods that were successfully made were various cakes, steamed cakes, cookies, jehe coffee, ginger chocolate, etc.

Abstract

Counseling on tilapia cultivation in floating cages was carried out in Margaluyu Village, Pengalengan District, Bandung Regency and was carried out on March 1-2 2024. Margaluyu Village has potential for fisheries because it has 2 large lakes in the village. This activity is to increase people's knowledge and skills in this field. This community service aims to exchange ideas with value fish farmers in floating cages and provide information on this and its impact on the development of tilapia cultivation and the welfare of local communities. The extension methods used include lectures, field observations, group discussions and practical extension. The results of this community service show the community's active participation in extension activities, with a significant level of knowledge and skills after participating in the program. The evaluation also showed positive changes in the community's understanding and knowledge regarding tilapia cultivation. Thus, it can be concluded that outreach activities on tilapia cultivation in floating cages have a positive impact on developing local fisheries potential and community welfare in Margaluyu Village, Pengalengan District, Bandung Regency.

Abstract

Universitas Persada Indonesia YAI (UPI YAI) and 14 driving colleges in Jakarta and encompassing regions on October 27-28, 2023, teamed up in local area administration exercises in Cikolelet The travel industry Town, Serang Rule, Banten. The motivation behind this movement is to help neighborhood monetary turn of events and work on the personal satisfaction of nearby networks. Cikolelet The travel industry Town, situated in the Cinangka region, Serang Rule, turned into the focal point of consideration in the travel industry advancement endeavors and neighborhood business improvement. This people group administration included 56 instructors and 26 local area individuals who were tutored by members from 14 colleges. PKM members are separated into a few specialization calling gatherings. Where our PKM bunch gives Monetary Administration Preparing in Cikolelet Homestay MSMEs. Abstract

In Margaluyu Village, Pengalengan, Bandung, West Java, there are a number of plantation lands which have a vital role in the local and national economy. Pangalengan is an agricultural, livestock and animal husbandry area. Many tea and quinine plantations are managed by PTPN. Margaluyu Village has great agricultural potential, especially for cultivating oranges and chilies. However, it is necessary to increase farmers' productivity and income through counseling on appropriate cultivation techniques. Increase farmers' knowledge and skills as well as their productivity and income through extension activities on orange and chili plantations. Through counseling and assistance, community service aims to encourage the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices, such as the use of organic fertilizer, integrated control of pests and plant diseases, and good soil management. Extension is carried out through training, group discussions, field training, mentoring, and periodic evaluations using questionnaires and interviews. The activity method carried out is in the form of training and discussions between farmers and the community with resource persons by conducting direct outreach. Extension to farmers in Margaluyu Village through lecture sessions, presentations and discussions about effective and sustainable agricultural practices. Achieved an increase in farmer knowledge, harvest productivity, quality of results, and an increase in farmer income. Increasing farmers' knowledge and skills so that farmers become more skilled in utilizing existing resources to maximize harvest yields and minimize the risk of loss. These activities have a significant positive impact on farmers and overall village prosperity. Adoption of sustainable agricultural practices, increasing farmers' knowledge and skills, as well as increasing farmers' productivity and welfare are things that can be achieved through this activity.

Abstract

Abstrak Produk usaha di Desa Wisata Cikolelet, berpotensi untuk dikenal konsumen secara luas. Namun permasalahan yang terjadi produk tersebut belum konsisten dalam penggunaan kemasan dan label pada produk. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini memberikan edukasi pentingnya pengemasan produk dan memberikan edukasi pentingnya penggunaan label pada produk. Kegiatan ini dilakukan kepada 8 peserta yang semuanya adalah ibu rumah tangga yang terdiri dari usaha emping, jamur tiram dan kerupuk gadung. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dengan mengidentifikasi pemasalahan dengan cara wawancara dan observasi, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan edukasi dan pelatihan serta evaluasi dengan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil dari kegiatan ini peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan baru terkait pengemasan dan label produk yang baik, serta masukan untuk pengembangan yang lebih baik lagi, sedangkan dari hasil pre-test dan post-test terdapat perubahan dari yang sebelumnya peserta belum memahami hingga lebih memahami penggunaan kemasan dan label. Kata kunci: kewirausahaan; pengemasan produk; label produk; desa wisata; cikolelet. Abstract Business products in the Cikolelet Tourism Village have the potential to be widely known to consumers.  However, the problem with this product is that it is not consistent in the use of packaging and labels on the product.  This activity aims to provide education on the importance of product packaging and provide education on the importance of using labels on products.  This activity was carried out for 8 participants, all of whom were housewives, consisting of emping businesses, oyster mushrooms, and gadung crackers.  The activity method used is to identify problems using interviews and observations, then continue with education and training as well as evaluation with pre-test and post-test.  As a result of this activity, participants gained new knowledge regarding good product packaging and labels, as well as input for better development, while from the results of the pre-test and post-test, there were changes from what previously participants did not understand to better understanding the use of packaging and labels. Keywords: entrepreneurship; product packaging; product label; tourism village; cikolelet.
