Abstract

Meningkatnya tingkat konsumsi kopi di Indonesia harus dibarengi dengan penerapan rantai pasok yang baik, karena rantai pasok memiliki peran dalam proses pemenuhan permintaan. Kinerja rantai pasok yang baik ditentukan dari peran anggota rantai pasok yang terlibat, jika anggota rantai pasok belum maksimal dalam menjalankan perannya maka akan berdampak pada kinerja rantai pasok yang terjadi. PT Sinar Mayang Lestari merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi green beans dan roasted beans. Atribut reliabilitas memiliki bobot nilai 0,40 karena atribut ini menentukan kemampuan perusahaan dalam memenuhi permintaan sesuai kuantitas, kualitas maupun ketepatan waktu. Kondisi rantai pasok kopi di PT Sinar Mayang Lestari yang dianalisi menggunakan metode FSCN (Food Supply Chain Network) sudah berjalan cukup baik karena mampu memenuhi permintaan konsumen dilihat dari nilai kinerja rantai pasok yang diukur mengacu kepada metode SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) yang menghasilkan nilai 88,19. Nilai kinerja ini termasuk ke dalam kriteria sedang (Average).

Abstract

Penggunaan media sosial dalam pemasaran suatu barang atau jasa sedang marak dilakukan oleh para pelaku usaha mulai dari usaha yang berskala kecil sampai besar. Zanana dan Oifyoo merupakan salah satu dari usaha kecil dan menengah yang sudah melakukan pemasaran produknya melalui media sosial Instagram. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media sosial Instagram sebagai media pemasaran online pada Zanana dan Oifyoo. Zanana mempunyai tim marketing khusus untuk mengelola akun Instagram, sedangkan akun Instagram Oifyoo dikelola langsung oleh pemiliknya. Analisis efektivitas penggunaan Instagram sangat dibutuhkan guna meningkatkan usaha baik dari segi pemasaran, penjualan, ataupun branding yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik konsumen saat ini. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam untuk data primer dan data dari laman Instagram Zanana dan Oifyoo untuk data sekunder. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah media analysis dan network analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Zanana lebih unggul dalam efektivitas penggunaan Instagram dari segi media analysis dan network analysis dibandingkan dengan Oifyoo.

Abstract

Istilah Good Agriculture Practices atau GAP identik dengan praktek pertanian berkelanjutan yang menggunakan pendekatan prinsip-prinsip bercocok tanam yang baik. Penerapan GAP secara komprehensif sangat sulit dilakukan pada suatu area atau daerah pertanian. Upaya pendekatan GAP terus dilakukan walaupun belum secara menyeluruh kepada setiap daerah pertanian. Penelitian tentang penerapan prinsip-prinsip GAP kepada petani bertujuan untuk menggiatkan prinsip pertanian berkelanjutan dan juga mengetahui sejauh mana para petani ataupun pelaku usaha pertanian tentang penerapan prinsip GAP ini. Selain itu untuk mengetahui pengaruh terhadap nilai ekspektasi manfaat GAP untuk pertanian berkelanjutan pada usaha taninya, serta tingkat implementasi, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian Analisis Sistem Produksi Kopi menggunakan GAP ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana perusahaan pengolahan kopi menerapkan prinsip-prinsip GAP yang mengacu pada peraturan kementerian pertanian nomor 49/Permentan/OT.140/4/2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil bahwa jika Malabar Mountain Coffee menerapkan GAP dengan baik pada sistem produksi yang mereka laksanakan, maka dapat berpengaruh terhadap produksi buah kopi yang dihasilkan. Secara tidak langsung, penerapan GAP akan membuat tanaman kopi lebih sehat dan produktif. Dengan menerapkan GAP juga akan membuat tanaman kopi bertahan lebih lama selama bertahun-tahun, hal ini tentunya menguntungkan bagi perusahaan karena dengan memiliki tanaman yang sehat dan sustainable dalam menghasilkan buah kopi, maka menjadi investasi jangka panjang bagi perusahaan dan akan meningkatkan daya produksi. Malabar Mountain Coffee juga akan menghasilkan berbagai produk pertanian, baik primer maupun hasil olahan, yang berkualitas dan higienis serta berdaya saing tinggi.

Abstract

The using of social media for marketing in products and services industry is currently trending, both in small and big enterprises. Zanana and Oifyoo are among the SMEs that already used Instagram to market their products. The purpose of this research is to find the effectiveness of using social media (Instagram) as online marketing on Zanana and Oifyoo. Zanana has a specified marketing team to manage their Instagram account> Meanwhile, Oifyoo's Instagram account is managed by the owner directly. The analysis of Instagram using effectiveness is much needed for increasing marketing, sales, or branding purposes. This research is done with a few steps including data reduction, data serving, conclusion, and verification. There are two data used in this research, primary and secondary data. The primary data is accumulated using in-depth interviews and the secondary data is retrieved on both SMEs Instagram accounts. This research used media and network analyses to analyze the data. The research shows that Zanana is more excelled at the effectiveness of using Instagram in both media and network analyses than Oifyoo. Keywords: effectiveness, Instagram, media analysis, network analysis

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai Technology Contribution Coefficient (TCC) dan nilai kontribusi komponen teknologi yang meliputi technoware, humanware, infoware, dan orgaware di PT Z dengan komoditas utama kopi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengamatan terhadap perusahaan dan wawancara kepada 10 orang karyawan dan 4 orang trainee. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode Teknometrik didukung metode SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai TCC PT Z adalah 0,7255. Berdasarkan nilai TCC, PT Z termasuk klasifikasi sangat baik dan berdasarkan tingkat teknologi memiliki tingkat teknologi modern. Nilai kontribusi komponen teknologi orgaware mempunyai kontribusi yang paling tinggi (0,9444), kemudian infoware (0,8241), humanware (0,6283), dan terkecil technoware (0,4954). Hasil diagram posisi analisis SWOT komponen technoware, infoware, orgaware pada kuadran I, sedangkan komponen humanware pada kuadran II. Hasil penilaian kontribusi teknologi ini dikaitkan dengan pilihan strateginya bahwa sekalipun perusahaan kopi, dalam penerapan teknologi perlu siaga menyesuaikan kecepatan perubahan teknologi yang cepat. Upaya penyesuaian ini sangat dibantu dengan sangat terbukanya ketersediaan informasi teknologi. Keadaan ini bisa menjadi rujukan bagi perusahaan sejenis.Kata kunci: analisis SWOT, Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique, Technology Contribution Coefficient, teknometrik AbstractThis study aims to determine the value of Technology Contribution Coefficient (TCC) and the value of the contribution component technologies include technoware, humanware, infoware, and orgaware in PT Z where coffee becomes a commodity business. The research method used is an in-depth observation of the company and interviews with 10 employees and 4 trainees. Data processing used technometric supported by the SMART method and SWOT analysis. Based on the research results the Value of TCC PT Z was 0.7255. Based on the value of TCC, PT Z includes good classification and based on the level of technology has a modern technology. The value of orgaware contributes the highest (0.9444), infoware (0.8241), humanware (0.6283) and the smallest technoware (0.4954). SWOT analysis of the diagram position, technoware, infoware, orgaware in quadrant I, meanwhile humanware in quadrant II. The result of this technology contribution assessment associated with the chosen strategy that even coffee companies, in the application of technology need to be alert to adjust the speed of rapid technological change. This adjustment effort is greatly assisted by the high availability of information technology. Abstract

The leaves of pandan wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) are known as food flavor and can be extracted to produce essential oil. Extraction of its essential oil is usually conducted by distillation method that would give added value for this plant. This study aimed to study the effect of different durations of distillation process on the essential oils yield and quality of pandanus using water and steam distillation method. The method used in this research was experimental method with descriptive analysis. This research used five variants duration of distillation, which was repeated two times. The duration of distillation consisted of 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, and 10 hours. The parameters observed to determine the best treatment consisted of the amount of yield produced and the quality parameters including specific gravity, refractive index, acid number, solubility in ethanol 90%, and ester number. Based on the results of the research conducted, distillation to produce the best yield is the duration of 8 hours with a yield value of 0.55%, while distillation to produce the best quality is the duration of 6 hours with a specific gravity of 1.0563 g/mL, refractive index 1.3473, the acid number was 3.274 mg KOH/g, solubility in ethanol 90% (1:1), and ester number of 96.06 mL HCl/g. Abstract

This research aims to identify current condition and rules of lean manufacturing (LM) implementation in Agro- Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The current condition aspects are identification of waste, LM techniques and methods, the reason and barriers on LM implementation in SMEs. Exploring the behavior of SMEs on implementing LM which supporting to generate productivity and efficiency on production system are important to be identified. Initially, LM concept are implemented in manufacturing industry especially in automotive industry. Nowadays this concept has been implemented by other sector included Small and Medium-size Enterprise. However, it has still a few number of Agro-SMEs implementing LM concept. The data from Indonesia Statistic revealed that the proportion of SME- agro based are in the total of SME in Indonesia. It insinuated that Agro-SMEs has a significant potency for national economic if their productivity increase. LM providing chance to improve productivity and efficiency in. Many research had conducted to explore LM implementation in various sector. Unfortunately, Research on LM implementation in Agro-SMEs has still a few number.  Research was conducted in 12 Agro-SMEs around Sumedang and Bandung. Selected SMEs referring to the use of horticulture and plantation commodity as a raw material. The data collected by field observation and deep interview to the owner, management-level, and employer. The data presented through description of qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result shows that the motion becomes a dominant waste in SMEs at 30%, while over production activity contributes waste at 22%, waiting aspect at 17%, inventory at 13 %, defect and transportation at 9%. Motion generates negative impact to work productivity and effectivity, for instance increase of time consume unimportant activity at work, WIP of product, cost for labor, and cost production.  In terms of Method and techniques implemented in Agro-SME, Continuous improvement (Kaizen) and 5 S outnumbered to other methods and techniques at 50%. Other method and techniques such as Teamwork and 5Why had contributed at 41.6%, TQM and Work standardization at 33.33%, and Jidoka at 16.67% as well as Kanban system, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and SMED 0%. In terms of the reason on implementing LM, Improving the quality of product becoming a larger proportion which affecting the LM implementation at 36%. In other hand, knowledge outnumbered to others aspect. It contributes 35% as the most barrier factor on LM implementation.

Abstract

Small Medium Enterprises (SME) in food was contributed 13,15% on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) 2013. However, SMEs in food had the problems in the management organization that could affect the product competitiveness. The local SMEs in food is less competitive compared with the similar foreign overseas product. In order to anticipate the negative impact of the broader market, the competitiveness measurement was needed to be conducted on understanding the strength of SMEs in food. Competitive measurement can be done by creating web application to reduce measuring process. This research using Designing methods (system engineering) using diamond porter model as competitiveness measurement method of SME in foods. Web application functioned as SME in foods grading, competitiveness weighing, SME in foods index measurements and City SMEs index measurements. Index value that were yielded grouped into three categories which were high, medium, and low. There was a color indicator on index value display that functioned to classifying competitiveness index value. ID was needed to access this web application, those things intended to guard the safety of data contained in this web application.

Abstract

As a producer of lettuce plants, the company X (as a case object)  needs to improve the information system more effectively and efficiently in order to support the increase of production. Therefore, it is necessary to build a management information system that provides information quickly and accurately. The implementation of this research using Waterfall Method. This research begins with the analysis of the needs of all users, then designing data flow diagrams, designing databases using SQL, entity relationship diagrams, normalization, the latter is the design of information structures including user interfaces. After that done programming activities using PHP programming language. This app is verified and validated. The information needs of the company are as follows: There are four parties as users of the information system; Information should be submitted and accessible as soon as possible; The manager can view the information of each division; To each division and vice versa; Managers can monitor the service level of marketing division and division of production; Each division can manage data; There needs to be model information about the agenda of each division. The app provides a shared menu for admins and users. Users are managers, marketing divisions, production divisions, and home packaging divisions. Each user has the same menu ie homepage, schedule, and reports. As for the manager plus menu monitoring. The final application prototype gives users satisfactory results. Each user is also given a menu to manage the database with features: inserting, searching, editing, and deleting data. The database comes with a dynamic and flexible user interface as a medium of data exchange and information between relevant divisions and media support in decision-making at the managerial level. Keywords— lettuce production,  lettuce production database, production information system

Abstract

In order to evaluation the food security development in Bandung,   researcher has been conducted in the form of software design to measure the performance of food security development from the aspect of food availability, food accessibility and the utilization and quality of food. The software is created in Microsoft Excel base as an analytics tool. The data used as the material of analysis was taken from the report of the institutions related to the food security development. Data here, is a source for scoring and weghting of the  3 food security  dimensions which is  filled in the software. List of contents for the analysis of food availability, food access and utilization and quality of food aspect are consist of 27 criteria, 12 criteria and 12 criteria respectively. The evaluation is done based on the calculation of the total value of weight multiplication with the score of each criteria, where the maximum total value is 5000 and minimum 1000. Justification of performance condition of food security performance described in the software is based on 5 categories class, that is from 1000 to 1800 total value performance for “unsafe conditions”, then 1800 to 2600 for “unsafe conditions”, 2600 to 3400 for “fairly safe conditions”, 3400 to 4200 for “safe conditions” and 4200 to 5000 for “very safe conditions”. The result of evaluation by using data in Bandung City of year 2012 and year 2015 indicate that condition of Bandung food security in terms of availability is “fairly safe”, food access is “safe” and the utilization and quality of food is in “fairly safe” condition.
