Abstract

Tanpa disadari perusahaan, permintaan pasar yang tinggi menimbulkan masalah dalam kegiatan jual-beli. Salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi perusahaan adalah terjadinya kekurangan dan kelebihan persediaan produk yang menyebabkan perusahaan menjadi tidak efisien dalam kegiatan jual-beli. Pengelolaan persediaan yang baik dan benar akan membantu kelancaran kegiatan jual-beli, sehingga pesanan konsumen dapat dipenuhi dengan waktu yang lebih cepat. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dikenal sebagai metode untuk mengoptimalkan besarnya jumlah pembelian bahan baku yang mengoptimalkan biaya total persediaan sehingga efisiensi dalam manajemen persediaan tercapai. Penelitian ini mengangkat kasus persediaan buah Apel Fuji pada ritel modern yang mengharapkan adanya perbaikan manajemen persediaan melalui optimalisasi besarnya jumlah pembelian setiap pesanan produk, menggunakan model EOQ. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode studi kasus (case study). Analisis terhadap sistem persediaan buah Apel Fuji menghasilkan model perhitungan biaya total persediaan baru dari model dasar EOQ. Model ini mempertimbangkan komponen biaya kerusakan produk selama persediaan berlangsung, disamping kelompok biaya pemesanan, dan biaya penyimpanannya. Melalui model perhitungan EOQ ditambah kondisi aktual perusahaan diperoleh adanya penghematan sebesar 29% dari biaya persediaan yang sebelumnya diterapkan. Namun total biaya persediaan dengan menggunakan model dasar EOQ masih lebih efisien dibandingkan hasil perhitungan metode EOQ ditambah biaya kerusakan dengan diperolehnya penghematan sebesar 30% dari biaya total persediaan aktual perusahaan. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan model dasar EOQ didapat pembelian bahan baku yang optimal yaitu 48,61 kg, frekuensi pemesanan 44 kali dengan persediaan pengaman (Safety Stock) berada pada jumlah 171 kg dan titik pemesanan kembali (Reorder Point) sebesar 193,37 kg.

Abstract

In the pursuit of optimizing information systems and website development for PT. PVI (Renstra), an extensive analysis was conducted on the use of CMS WordPress supplemented with the Elementor add-on as the primary tool for website construction. This analysis sought to assess the feasibility and capabilities of Elementor basic in meeting Renstra's requirements. Various critical aspects were evaluated, including account creation, login and logout systems, as well as form display and integration. Elementor basic, while providing the convenience of a user-friendly drag-and-drop design interface, falls short of fully satisfying Renstra's needs. A significant challenge encountered was Elementor basic's inability to create a seamless account creation system integrated with login and logout features. This posed a hindrance for website users seeking to input data, as they were unable to smoothly implement login functionalities within Elementor basic. To address these challenges, several recommendations are proposed. Firstly, Renstra should consider upgrading to Elementor Pro, which offers an array of comprehensive features, including streamlined form integration and efficient account creation. Secondly, designing an efficient login system within Elementor Pro to enable users to effortlessly create accounts, log in, and access their work progress is paramount. Thirdly, meticulous attention should be given to integrating form submission and the Progress Bar to enable users to submit data effortlessly and view their progress directly on the website, eliminating the need for manual Progress Bar adjustments. Fourthly, leveraging Elementor Pro's additional design features can significantly enhance the website's overall appearance, ensuring it aligns with user requirements. Finally, Renstra should explore the development of supplementary features to enrich the user experience, such as enhanced work progress management, progress notifications for registered users, or more restricted access for specific users. Implementing these recommendations will enable PT. PVI to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their information system and website. This, in turn, will enable them to provide superior services to their users, enhance transparency in progress reporting, and ultimately achieve their goal of optimizing their corporate information system.

Abstract

AbstractHigher market expectation towards coffee products both of its quantity and quality is one of several challenges currently faced by the coffee industry. Maintaining the coffee supply chain through a periodical evaluation of supply chain performance, therefore, is crucial. The research provided measurement of performance efficiency of Kadatuan Koffie company’s suppliers using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). This measurement is required to know the supplier’s level of performance efficiency as a consideration in conducting the company’s raw material management. Management of supplier’s activity is essential to maintain the flow of supply chain running smoothly. The data obtained in this research were interview results with farmers or suppliers of raw material or coffee beans for Kadatuan Koffie and the company’s management. The data were processed using DEA by comparing output and input value. According to the measurement of performance efficiency towards seven suppliers of Kadatuan Koffie, three of them are categorized as efficient, namely the farmer in Cimaung, Cibodas and Dago that showed an efficiency value of 1.Keywords: Data Envelopment Analysis, performance efficiency, supplier

Abstract

Marketing in the era of the development of social media is important for developing a business. Kedai Ruang Kopi is a food and beverage sales service business (coffeeshop), especially coffee and snacks. Kedai Ruang Kopi uses social media Instagram with the account @kedaikopiruang which is not optimal compared to other similar business accounts due to the lack of awareness of Kedai Ruang Kopi on marketing strategies. This study aims to optimize the use of Kedai Ruang Kopi (@kedaikopiruang) accounts to increase their insights using the A-T-R (awareness-trial-reinforcement) method. The principle of applying the A-T-R method is through creation to raise consumer awareness so that there is an act of trying, then followed by efforts to strengthen or confirm so that finally the product is trusted. Evaluation of the A-T-R method uses data insights and interviews with sample consumers. The results showed that there was an increase in insights into the @kedaikopiruang account, namely followers by 16.8%, accounts reached by 20%, and an increase in accounts engaged by 60%. The results of interviews with 56 samples showed that 17% of the sample consumers came because they saw Kedai Ruang Kopi's Instagram account. The number of sales of Kopi Ruang Shop increased until May 2023 but decreased in June 2023 due to several undetermined factors. Based on the results above, the marketing strategy implemented on @kedaikopiruang is still considered unsatisfactory when compared to other similar accounts.

Abstract

High rainfall is one of the main factors causing flooding in a Watershed. To overcome this problem, we develop internet-based applications to be a potential solution. This study aims to design a web-based application that is able to predict the monthly flow rate, as well as determine the flow rate at each measuring station in a Watershed. The method used in this study is software engineering by applying simple linear regression as a prediction method. In this case, rainfall acts as an independent variable, while flow discharges as a dependent variable. The prediction results showed that the flow rate at several stations that we coded A, B, C, D, and E were 3.37 m3/s, 4.49 m3/s, 11.96 m3/s, 19.79 m3/s, and 12.26 m3/s, respectively. These results provide an overview of the potential of water flow at various Sub-watershed points to be utilized as a data-based flood mitigation measures.

Abstract

Indonesia is globally recognized for its abundant biodiversity and is considered one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. Over centuries, local communities have explored the benefits of natural ingredients such as garlic to be used as herbal medicine. Although garlic has numerous health benefits, raw consumption is still uncommon due to its strong aroma and taste. To address this issue, black garlic, a derived product from garlic, has been developed to minimize its strong characteristics. Therefore, this research aimed to investigate formulation of black garlic tea with the addition of ginger and rosella flowers in terms of bioactive components, including total phenolic content, total flavonoid content, antioxidant activity, and organoleptic characteristics of taste and aroma. The method used involved the extraction of 12 samples. The results indicated that the highest phenolic content was 16.708 ± 0.0356 mg GAE/g with formulation of black garlic, rosella, and ginger at a ratio of 1 g: 3 g: 2 g. The highest flavonoid content was observed in formulation of black garlic, rosella, and ginger at a ratio of 2 g: 3 g: 2 g, which amounted to 13.560 ± 0.536 mg QE/g. Furthermore, formulation with black garlic, rosella, and ginger at a ratio of 2 g: 3 g: 2 g exhibited the highest antioxidant activity of 63.21%. These results showed that formulation of black garlic tea with the addition of ginger and rosella flowers could enhance the levels of bioactive components, including total phenolic content, total flavonoid content, and antioxidant activity.

Abstract

As the demand for efficient and cost-effective greenhouse microclimate surveillance has increased, we developed a microclimate surveillance system using microcontroller technology that automatically collects temperature and relative humidity data and transmits it to a cloud server for remote surveillance and data analysis. 1971 microclimate data points were acquired over a 20-day evaluation period, providing insights into greenhouse environmental conditions with a negative linear regression between air temperature and relative humidity within the greenhouse and an R-squared of 0.73. This illustrates the system’s ability to record and quantify environmental conditions data. Additionally, we derived a predictive model to manage microclimate conditions using the regression formula y = -6.12X + 238.33, where X represents the air temperature and y represents the relative humidity. All the results show that the acquired data can be used to make decisions to optimize plant growth. The prototype we developed can be an alternative option for small and medium-sized farms that need a greenhouse surveillance system to improve operational efficiency and reduce surveillance costs. The system can be further developed by implementing additional sensors to monitor light intensity, wind speed, or soil moisture and further data analysis models to optimize greenhouse management.

Abstract

A warehouse marketplace is a platform that brings together businesses or people who need a warehouse with a warehouse provider. Because this type of marketplace is relatively new, there are still many shortcomings, especially in the User Experience (UX) section. The features offered by this marketplace are still very limited, so it is difficult to attract potential users. The purpose of this study is to analyze and improve User Experience in the warehouse marketplace. Heuristic evaluation will be used as a UX analyzer method and Google Material Design as a reference of design principles for revising the previous UX. The evaluation results will be useful for two parties. For user to navigate the marketplace easier so that the conversion from visitors to buyers increases. For startups in warehouse category which want to use websites as a marketing and leasing facility to have a good User Experience. Abstract

Utilization of information technology that is increasingly accessible is one of the strategies for entrepreneurs to market their products. YourGood business is one of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by presenting smoothies yogurt products and using social media as a marketing medium, one of which is content marketing through Instagram social media as a marketing strategy, content marketing is one of the most important marketing strategies currently being used by YourGood business. The purpose of this study is to test as an illustration how the role or influence of the contribution of content marketing through Instagram social media run by YourGood business on consumer buying interest, this research is included in the type of explanatory research method with a quantitative approach and using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling with a total of 100 respondents using a linear time function to determine the number of samples. Researchers used normality test analysis, t test, F test and multiple linear regression using Microsoft Excel 2019 software. The results stated that there was a correlation between marketing Instagram social media content and the buying interest of YourGood business consumers by 62.6%. Then the variable that has the greatest value is the persuasion variable of 47%. So that the content marketing strategy that can be carried out by YourGood business is to present content with product quality information and build trust in consumers and be carried out consistently and attractively so that the content marketing strategy will be able to increase consumer buying interest.Keywords: Content Marketing, Purchase Intention, Digital Marketing, Instagram.

Abstract

AbstractSumedang tofu is an Indonesian traditional food with unique characteristics and high cultural value. The product quality in the market still varies, especially regarding tofu's sensory and safety attributes. This study aimed to identify and analyze the quality attributes of Sumedang tofu based on consumer perceptions to formulate relevant technical improvement priorities. The approach integrated the Kano model and Quality Function Deployment method in a systematic analytical framework. The study involved 30 respondents at the Sumedang Tofu Restaurant "Sari Kedele" Sumedang Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia. The identification results showed that 37 quality attributes were obtained from the Voice of Customer and classified into the Must Be, One-Dimensional, and Attractive categories. Attributes such as crispy crust texture (importance score 4.55), served freshly fried (4.64), and attention to cooking oil usage (4.53) were the primary concerns. The House of Quality Matrix showed that worker training (score 857.3), consumer serving (767.0), and raw material sorting (566.5) were the technical responses with the highest contribution to satisfaction. This study result indicated that consumer perception is important in quality improvement strategies. Implementation of this integrative model supports measurable decision-making, strengthens competitive advantage, and maintains local product sustainability.Keywords: consumer perception, Kano model, product quality, Quality Function Deployment, Sumedang tofu Abstrak Tahu Sumedang merupakan pangan tradisional Indonesia yang memiliki karakteristik unik dan nilai budaya tinggi. Mutu produk yang beredar di pasaran masih bervariasi, terutama pada atribut sensoris dan keamanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis atribut mutu tahu Sumedang berdasarkan persepsi konsumen untuk merumuskan prioritas perbaikan teknis yang relevan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah integrasi model Kano dan metode Quality Function Deployment dalam satu kerangka analitis yang sistematis. Penelitian melibatkan 30 responden aktif di Restoran Tahu Sumedang “Sari Kedele”, Kabupaten Sumedang, Provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa 37 atribut mutu diperoleh dari Voice of Customer dan diklasifikasikan ke dalam kategori Must Be, One-Dimensional, dan Attractive. Atribut seperti tekstur kulit renyah (4,55), penyajian dalam keadaan panas (4,64), dan perhatian terhadap minyak goreng (4,53) menjadi perhatian utama. Matriks House of Quality menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan karyawan (857,3), penyajian ke konsumen (767,0), dan sortasi bahan baku (566,5) adalah respon teknis dengan kontribusi tertinggi terhadap kepuasan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi konsumen penting dalam strategi peningkatan mutu. Implementasi model integratif ini mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang terukur, memperkuat keunggulan kompetitif, dan menjaga keberlanjutan produk lokal.Kata kunci: model Kano, mutu produk, persepsi konsumen, Quality Function Deployment, tahu Sumedang
