Abstract

The library has a very important role for education. Library is not only used as a place to place books, but the library can be used as a place to study and a place to study and get a source of information. This paper aims to determine the nature of effectiveness, service, school libraries, the effectiveness of school library services, and the ideal school library as a center for information literacy. The school library service aims to present information in the interest of improving the implementation of teaching and learning process and recreation for all citizens of the school by using the library materials they have. As a service institution, the success of the library is highly dependent on the system and the implementation of its service aspects to its users. In general, successful libraries are libraries that are frequently visited by the users to utilize the sources of information contained therein. Keywords. Effectiveness, service, school library

Abstract

Corresponding with recent developments lately, libraries need to be understood not just as institutions that manage books and other publications, but also manage information resources by utilizing information technology. Therefore, needed power of master to have personnel who dominate expertise and skills in certain fields. To manage the school library, a teacher who is considered capable of managing the library should be appointed. Management in the school library is not just an activity of placing books on a shelf, but more than that, it is very complex, sustainable, and always changing. So management is a process that focuses on attention to activities from day to day, facing problems with content and integration with school goals. Keywords. Management, school library

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze: (1) Implementation of Supervision by the Principal in Improving Teacher Performance, (2) Stages of implementing academic supervision in improving teacher performance, (3) The constraints faced in the implementation of academic supervision by school principals in improving teacher performance in SMP Negeri 1 Mancak, SMP Negeri 2 Anyar and SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of comparative study. Data collection methods are observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques through the process of data reduction, the process of presenting data and the process of drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) The Implementation of Academic Supervision by the School Principals was carried out well and planned, so as to improve teacher performance. (2) The stages carried out in supervision include (a) the planning phase, (b) the implementation phase and (c) the follow-up stage. (3) the constraints faced in the implementation of academic supervision in improving teacher performance in Mancak 1 Junior High School, 2 Anyar Junior High School and Gunungsari 1 Junior High School are time, teacher readiness and the technique of Making Learning Implementation Plans.

Abstract

Kajian ini bermaksud mendeskripsikan secara detail tentang pemanfaatan perpustakaan sebagai sumber belajar bagi siswa melalui pemberdaayaan guru bidang studi. Pada level pendidikan dasar, yang mencakup SD/MI dan SMP/MTs, pemanfaatan perpustakaan sebagai sumber belajar bisa lebih efektif apabila pimpinan sekolah atau madrasah mengharuskan semua guru bidang studi untuk memberikan tugas terstruktur kepada siswa sebagai bahan penilaian kenaikan kelas ataupun kelulusan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diselengarakan dengan sistem pelatihan tentang pemaanfaatan perpustakaan sebagai sumber belajar melalui pemberdayaan guru bidang studi. Kasimpulan kajian ini menyebutkan bahwa: Pertama, perpustakaan memiliki peran penting dalam mempertahakan dan sekaligus mengembangkan budaya baca dan tulis di kalangan siswa, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan. Kedua, fasilitas internal perpustakaan sekolah maupun perpustakaan madrasah harus diupayakan dapat menarik minat para pengunjung untuk berlama-lama berada di lingkunga perpustaakan, sambil mempelajari buku-buku praktis sebagai bahan pengembangan keterampilan praktis di kemudian hari

Abstract

Generasi muda merupakan pilar sebuah bangsa, mereka adalah tonggak yang sangat berarti bagi kelangsungan masa depan. Setuju atau tidak, generasi mudalah yang akan menghadapi segala tantangan yang akan dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia. Mereka adalah kaset yang merekam setiap peristiwa, generasi mudalah yang merupakan tumpuan, harapan dan angan-angan yang sangat besar bagi perkembangan sebuah bangsa. Mereka adalah hari esok dan sinar mataluzri yang akan menyinari kehidupan. Maraknya kriminalitas, pelecehan seksual, pergaulan bebas, alkhohol, narkoba tawuran, dan tindakan-tindakan kotor Iainnya yang dilakukan oleh para remaja, karena kesalahan kita sebagai orang tua yang kurang pemahaman dalam mengenal siapa mereka. Kita. sibuk dengan berbagai urusan harta, karier, popularitas, jabatan, politik, perusaliaan, tapi, kita melalaikan kewajiban yang ada di depan mata kita, yakni anak-anak yang sedang membutuhkan bimbingan dan pendidikan dari orang tuanya. Pencegahan perlu dilakukan sedini mungkin sejak anak usia SD sampai SMA hingga perguruan tinggi, bahkan pada anak usia balita, sekolah merupakan lembaga yang sangat penting dalam upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba mengingat pemakaiannya adalah anak dan remaja usia sekolah dan mahasiswa perguruan tinggi. Penyahgunaan narkoba sangat komplek tetapi selalu merupakan interaksi. Ada tiga faktor penyebabnya yaitu Narkoba, Individu, Lingkungan. Kata Kunci : Pencegahan, penanggulangan narkoba dan remaja.

Abstract

Permasalahan pokok pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana manajemen peningkatan mutu pendidikan karakter di SD Peradaban Cilegon? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan mutu pendidikan karakter di SD Peradaban Cilegon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus, jenis kualitatif deskriftif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dalam upaya mendeskripsikan manajemen peningaktan mutu pendidikan karakter di SD Peradaban Cilegon, dengan nara sumber dari kepala madrasah, waka kesiswaan, waka kurikulum, guru dan wali murid. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pertama, manajemen peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SD Peradaban Cilegon tergolong baik karena sudah menggunakan model Deming dalam aktivitas manajemen yaitu Plan, Do, Check dan Act. Selain itu dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan dari mulai proses input siswa tanpa tes, proses yang berlangsung dengan menggunakan TQM menghasilkan capaian siswa dalam bentuk output akademik dan non akademik yang lebih dominan. Berkaitan dengan mutu pendidikan SD Peradaban Cilegon telah mendapatkan akreditasi B. Namun yang perlu jadi masukan adalah tentang output akademik yang membutuhkan peningkatan. Kedua, berkenaan mutu pendidikan karakter tergolong baik karena capaian peserta didik berkenaan dengan nilai nilai karakter yang dijadikan standar hampir semuanya sudah menyentuh kepada tindakan moral

Abstract

This paper is a type of qualitative research with a library research approach. Collection of literature related to charismatic and visionary leadership. Furthermore, when viewed from the closeness of the content, the literature can be classified into two. First, the primary source (primary source) and the second secondary source (secondary source). Charismatic leadership is a leadership style by highlighting charisma to attract and inspire devotion by others. A visionary leader is a leader who is able to determine where the organization is going and how to achieve it. Thus, visionary leaders must have predictive, anticipatory, systematic, holistic, integrative, and comprehensive thinking skills.

Abstract

The implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in madrasas aims to improve the quality of education as a whole. TQM provides the concept that quality is the responsibility of all parties involved in the educational process. This study aims to determine the implementation of TQM in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) and the factors that influence it. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of TQM in MA has been going well and has affected the improvement of the quality of education. Factors influencing the implementation of TQM include support from school principals, active participation of all relevant parties, effective measurement and evaluation systems, and implementation of staff training and development. This study recommends the need for increased awareness and active participation of all parties involved in the implementation of TQM and the need for continuous development and training for madrasah staff.

Abstract

This study examines the basic concepts of management, the benefits of school-based management, the characteristics of school-based management, the implementation of school-based management, strategies for implementing school-based management, indicators of success of school-based management and the constraints in implementing SBM. Perinsip is one of the important things that must be owned by a leader. The implementation of school management basically chooses the best choice for schools in school development. School-specific management must be sustainable so that in the end it leads to improving education. Abstract
