Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively determine the effect of providing Reinforcement on student learning motivation at the Khidmah Ngaji Online Course Educational Institution. Motivation is a crucial factor in Online learning, which often faces challenges such as limited direct interaction, psychological distance, and high student distraction levels, especially among young learners. The research employs a quantitative method with a causal-associative approach to rigorously test these variables. Data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire distributed to active students in the country. The instrument's validity and reliability were tested and confirmed, showing a robust Cronbach's Alpha of 0.794, well above the 0.60 threshold. Prerequisite statistical tests, including normality (Sig. 0.200 > 0.05) and linearity (Deviation from linearity 0.333 > 0.05), were successfully met. The results of the simple linear regression analysis revealed a significant and positive effect of Reinforcement on learning motivation, with a profound significance value of <0.001 (< 0.05) and a t-count of 7.705 which surpasses the t-table. The resulting regression equation Y = 1.078 + 0.972X indicates that higher intensity and quality of Reinforcement consistently improve students' intrinsic motivation. It is concluded that educators must actively implement verbal and non-verbal Reinforcement strategies aligning with the Islamic concepts of Tsawab and appreciative education to maintain student engagement, reduce fatigue, and foster a dynamic Online learning environment.

Abstract

This article synthesizes evidence on learning service quality management as a strategy for improving instructional quality in secondary and vocational schools. A structured literature review was conducted using 15 verified academic and institutional sources concerning Total Quality Management, the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, data-informed decision-making, instructional leadership, academic supervision, teacher professional development, feedback, and continuous school improvement. The sources were selected through explicit relevance and credibility criteria and analyzed thematically according to planning, implementation, evaluation, follow-up, enabling conditions, and implementation risks. The synthesis shows that quality improvement becomes effective when learning goals, curriculum, teacher assignments, facilities, and assessment plans are aligned at the planning stage; student-centered instruction, formative assessment, technology, and vocational relevance are maintained during implementation; supervision and multiple data sources are used during evaluation; and findings are converted into corrective actions, professional learning, and revised programs. The major enabling conditions are instructional leadership, teacher competence, collaborative quality culture, adequate infrastructure, and usable data. The main risks are administrative compliance without instructional change, fragmented data, unequal teacher capacity, limited facilities, and technology adoption without pedagogical purpose. An integrated PDCA framework is proposed for an anonymized Vocational School X.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of student entrepreneurship competence at SMKN 1 Karawang, viewed from the management functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and evaluation. Vocational high school graduates are expected to be both work-ready and able to create their own business opportunities, so that a directed and sustainable school management of entrepreneurship becomes strategically important. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the principal, the vice principal for curriculum, the head of the Teaching Factory, the entrepreneurship subject teacher, and students. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, covering data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that, in the planning aspect, the principal formulates entrepreneurship programs through the Kewirausahaan/KIK subject, the Teaching Factory, and proposals for government assistance oriented toward local-wisdom-based products. In the organizing aspect, duties are distributed among teachers, the Teaching Factory coordinator, and the BLUD manager according to their respective expertise. In the actuating aspect, students experience learning by doing through production, marketing, digital promotion, bazaars, and industry partnerships. In the evaluation aspect, the principal conducts direct field monitoring and uses product sales as an indicator of program success. These four management functions work together to strengthen students' creativity, innovation, and courage in taking business risks.
