Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas bentuk penyajian musik dalam kesenian tradisional Kuda Lumping yang dipentaskan oleh Paguyuban Turonggo 1 Budi di Kabupaten Banyuasin. Kuda Lumping merupakan salah satu seni pertunjukan rakyat yang menggabungkan unsur tari, musik, dan spiritualitas, serta kental dengan nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada unsur musikal yang meliputi notasi musik dengan beberapa jenis alat musik tradisional yang digunakan, bentuk penyajian berupa pola tabuhan yang dibangun untuk mengiringi gerakan tari serta mendukung proses trans atau kerasukan. Alat musik seperti Slumpet, saron, bonang, kendang, tamborin dan gong berperan penting dalam menciptakan suasana magis dan emosional yang khas dalam pertunjukan ini. Musik dalam Kuda Lumping tidak hanya sebagai elemen pengiring, tetapi juga menjadi media yang menghubungkan antara penari, penonton, dan kekuatan spiritual yang diyakini hadir selama pertunjukan. Penyajian musik disusun secara turun-temurun, namun tetap mengalami penyesuaian dengan perkembangan zaman dan selera masyarakat, tanpa menghilangkan esensi tradisionalnya. Paguyuban Turonggo 1 Budi memiliki peranan penting dalam menjaga kelestarian budaya lokal melalui praktik seni Kuda Lumping ini. Kesenian tersebut menjadi simbol identitas budaya masyarakat Banyuasin dan media pewarisan nilai-nilai leluhur yang terus dijaga dan diwariskan kepada generasi muda.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process of staff notation in the song Bagimu Negeri in the music arts subject of SMK YP Gajah Mada Palembang. Learning staff notation is the main focus in music arts material. This is because understanding and the ability to read STAFF notation will make it easier for students to learn various musical instruments. In order to realize staff notation learning so that reading rhythm and melody and playing it on the instrument becomes better, the right method was chosen by the 10th grade music arts subject teacher, namely implementing an interactive learning method and in accordance with the curriculum that has been set with the needs of students, namely using the drill method or in other words the method of repeated practice from the material that has been arranged. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the learning of staff notation which is arranged systematically and integrated between materials, and applied through the practice method (drill), based on field data shows very satisfying results. This achievement is certainly inseparable from the important role of teachers in mastering and understanding the teaching materials, which are the main keys to the success of the learning process. Furthermore, the conclusions of this study will be presented in the next chapter.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process of Marching Band Soul Squad on the song Maju Tak Gentar in extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 3 Palembang. The background of this study is the importance of extracurricular activities as a medium for developing students' interests, talents, and character building, especially through musical arts and marching activities such as marching bands. The song Maju Tak Gentar was chosen because it contains patriotic values ​​that are in line with the spirit of nationalism and the goals of character education. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study was conducted for two weeks involving trainers, marching band participants, and extracurricular instructors. The results of the study showed that the learning process ran systematically through the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The trainer used lecture, demonstration, and drill methods to deliver basic wind instrument, percussion, and visual formation techniques. Evaluations were carried out periodically to assess the progress of techniques, discipline, team cohesion, and student character values.
