Abstract

In this highly competitive banking industry, every bank needs to create superior value for its customers. The ideal banking industry to improve the quality of customer relationships is a company that wants to optimize profits by closer (customer intimacy) and harmonious relationship with its customers. Thus, the value-added relationship marketing can be optimized in streamlining and streamlining costs to acquire new customers or retain old customers so that the cost and marketing efforts are not in vain and profits can be increased even more. This study specifically examines the effect of customer relationship quality and product excellence on the company's marketing performance through a competitive advantage in the banking industry. The industry that is used as a research object is PT Bank Mega, Tbk Regional Semarang. The analytical tool used in this study is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) of the AMOS statistical package. From the research results can be concluded that the quality of relationships influence and positive product superiority to marketing performance. While a competitive advantage does not have a positive effect on marketing performance. At the end of the discussion, the limitations of research and future research agenda can be used as a reference for further study or research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembelajaran organisasi, orientasi kewirausahaan dan budaya perusahaan terhadap kinerja bisnis Wedding Organizer di Semarang dengan variabel mediasi strategi aliansi untuk mencari solusi dalam mengoptimalkan kinerja bisnis.Dalam menganalisis data, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis model persamaan struktural (SEM) dengan menggunakan alat analisis SmartPLS 3.0 pada 95 pelaku usaha Wedding Organizer yang ditentukan melalui teknik pengambilan sampel convenience.Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran organisasi dan orientasi kewirausahaan terbukti mempunyai pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kinerja bisnis melalui strategi aliansi, sementara budaya perusahaan dan strategi aliansi berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja bisnis. Selain itu model penelitian ini terbukti berhasil dalam menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian bahwa kontruksi berfikir yang tertuang dalam model penelitian dapat mengoptimalkan kinerja bisnis Wedding Organizer di kota Semarang sehingga diharapkan pelaku usaha Wedding Organizer mampu menerapkan strategi aliansinya dalam meraih keunggulan kompetitif yang berdayatahan.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of differentiation strategy, market orientation, and innovation in an effort to build a competitive advantage for the performance of the company improves on star hotels in the city of Semarang. The respondents in this research are the Manager of star hotels in the city of Semarang, the size of respondents in filling in the questionnaire is 63 (sixty-three) people. However, for some reason, 22 (twenty-two) respondents are not willing to do the filling out the questionnaires which resulted in the final sample size is 41 (forty-one) respondents.in this case, the tool used in the study is the analysis of Partial Least Square (PLS). Prior to testing the researchers first tested the questionnaire by means of the validity test and reliability test. Test validity is to see the questionnaire is valid or not, and the reliability test is meant to see the questions distributed reliable or not to do further testing. The empirical findings indicated that the differentiation strategy has a significant positive effect on competitive advantage; innovation has a significant positive effect on firm performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the tight competition of Online Travel Agent business in Indonesia. It impact the brand performance of an Online Travel Agent Tiket.com in the last two years and causes a decrease of 1,6%. This study is aimed at showing the influence of Brand Awareness, Brand Image, and Brand Loyalty to the consumer purchase decision through brand attitudes on Online Travel Agent Tiket.com.The data obtained are taken from 100 respondents who are users of Online Travel Agent Tiket.com and are taken by using purposive sampling. The analysis method used in this study is quantitative method including validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, T test, F test, and coefficient determination using SPSS analysis tool.The result of this study shows that brand awareness, brand image, and brand loyalty have such possitive and significant effect to brand attitude. While brand attitude have such possitive and significant effect to the consumer purchase decision.

Abstract

Family companies are companies where the majority of owners are family, where the applicable provisions are produced by part of the organization that is emotionally bound. In the period 2015-2018 PT. Alamanda, which is an export company for commodity X, experienced a decline in production performance. In this case the researcher wants to know things that affect production performance so that the company experiences a decline in the number of exports of commodity X. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach by analyzing actual events in the company with the subject being each individual who is related to the course of the business. from downstream to upstream. Collecting data using in-depth interviews conducted directly or online to participants and supported by direct observations in the company environment. The results of the study show that in addition to technical and non-technical factors, the decline in PT Alamanda's production performance is influenced by purchasing decisions that are not fast in the field. Competition is a very natural thing to happen, but anticipation in competition and changes in strategy need to be done quickly. Innovation in the commodity supply chain system is also very influential in controlling the purchase price in order to minimize the auction price of commodity X.

Abstract

The phenomenon that will be analyzed in this research is that the current development raises the urgency that there is a need for more effective and efficient performance that can increase productivity, increase profits and reduce costs. Batik MSMEs in Laweyan, Solo, Central Java, which currently mostly use manual and semi-manual methods, need to develop themselves in order to be able to compete with batik invaders from abroad such as Malaysia, China and Vietnam. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of technology adaptation, market orientation and networking on the competitive advantage and business performance of batik MSMEs in Laweyan, Solo, Central Java. The population chosen in this study were all of the Batik Laweyan UMKM as many as 156 UMKM Batik. The number of respondents used in this study was 156 Laweyan Batik UMKM. The sampling technique in this research is the census method. The data collection method is by using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling. Based on research, market orientation has a positive effect on competitive advantage, adaptation of modern technology and networking has no effect on competitive advantage. Adaptation of modern technology, market orientation, networking and competitive advantage have a positive effect on business performance. In terms of testing the fit model, it states that the model has a good fit. So from this it can be concluded that the model has a good enough fit to predict business performance.

Abstract

Saat ini tempat tujuan wisata sudah semakin banyak di berbagai wilayah khususnya di Indonesia baik wisata alam maupun buatan yang membuat persaingan pada bisnis obyek wisata juga semakin banyak diminati. Obyek wisata Eling Bening diharapkan dapat memberikan pelayanan yang berkualitas agar dapat menarik perhatian para wisatawan di Kabupaten Semarang dan sekitarnya. Besarnya frekuensi kunjungan akan mempengaruhi perkembangan suatu objek wisata dari wisatawan yang mengunjunginya. Objek wisata Eling Bening jika dilihat perkembangan frekuensi kunjungan, akan mengalami perkembangan yang berbeda dan terdapat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan atau penurunan yang akan memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi perkembangan wisata di Kabupaten Semarang khususnya. Studi ini melihat apakah faktor citra obyek wisata, daya tarik wisata, dan kualitas obyek wisata dapat berpengaruh besar kepada keputusan berkunjung wisatawan dan kepuasan wisatawan terhadap obyek wisata Eling Bening dengan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan SEM menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan wisatawan dipengaruhi oleh keputusan berkunjung wisatawan. Untuk memperoleh keputusan berkunjung wisatawan yang tinggi dapat dilihat dari citra obyek wisata, daya tarik obyek wisata dan kualitas pelayanan obyek wisata.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah UMKM merupakan salah satu sektor unggulan yang memberikan kontribusi terhadap perkembangan perekonomian nasional. UMKM bergerak di berbagai sektor ekonomi salah satunya adalah sektor pertanian. Penelitian bertujuan untuk pengembangan UMKM sektor pertanian Provinsi Jawa Tengah khususnya subsektor tanaman pangan melalui pemetaan potensi produksi tanaman pangan kabupaten/kota Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan kelembagaan UMKM sektor pertanian. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data analisis data menggunakan metode location quotient (LQ). Data penelitian adalah data sekunder subsektor tanaman pangan tahun 2011 hingga tahun 2016. Data diperoleh dari dokumentasi Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan Kementerian Pertanian. Pemetaan potensi komoditas tanaman pangan menjadi basis di kabupaten/kota Provinsi Jawa Tengah merupakan dasar pembentukan pola kelembagaan distribusi produk/bahan baku komoditas pangan bagi UMKM sektor pertanian khususnya subsektor tanaman pangan yang berlokasi di Provinsi Jawa Tengah.

Abstract

The growth of the family business cannot be separated from the problems that occur among fellow family members, such as the crisis of trust of fellow family members, conflicts in decision making, conflicts in leadership succession (successor to the throne), differences in managerial mindset between the first generation (founder) and the second generation (successor). Socio-Emotional Wealth (SEW) is one of the non-financial factors that can affect the sustainability of the family business, both during the transition process and the sustainability of the business. In addition, strong leadership, familial values, organizational transformation, succession, culture and attractive talents are needed to build longevity from generation to generation and the development of the family business. This research focuses more on family business succession, SEW, and family business diversification. The purpose of this study is to test the success of the succession process in business continuity in family companies, as well as to test the role and commitment of family members in business diversification in family companies. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. Techniques in collecting data are observation and in-depth interviews. The results of the study obtained show that the commune and good relationships between family members, as well as the values and family culture maintained by the company will form a good and healthy Socio-Emotional Wealth. Where a healthy SEW will greatly affect the company's decision making during the succession process, diversification, and continuity of the family business.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Path Goal theory explained about leader behavior by directive style, suportif style, partisipative style, maintenance style, and achievement style whice influence a wish. In order to influence low worker, by using one of four style, a leader must  effore to  influence perception and can give motivation to them about his duty clarity, attainment of target, job satisfaction and the effectively time. A leader take charge of to execute duty and also the such responsibility claimed [by] the existence of a leader recognizing as a whole the organizational member so that can grow harmonious same job among organizational component, here role of leader become of vital importance in efficacy of organization which leading of in the case of directive, supportif, partisipative and orient achievement for the job satisfaction, organizational commitmen and performance his subordinate. This research it all was done in Department Agama of Sub-Province of Kendal and Town Semarang, and it was taken example from staff office department agama of sub-province of Kendal and town Semarang. The technich which was used for research is giving 43 quesioner for depag Kendal and 90 depag Semarang, for measuringthese questions by scala likert.  The file for getting this research is helped by SPSS ( Statistical of Program of for Social Science) 7.5 for Windows. Analyse data is done by validity exam and reliabilitas exam by using Cronbach'S Alpha technic, correlation exam with “product moment technich” and regresi linear exam. It consisted of R² exam, F and t exam. The analysis which was  used is Chi-Square analysie to look for some  differences between depag Kendal and Semarang, and double regresi analyse influence of leadership style to job satisfaction, organizational commitmen, and the employees performance. The result of this research indicate that the five factors of leadership style : partisipative style, orient achievement style, directive style, supportif style, and maintenance style are have an effect on positively and signifikan to job satisfaction, organizational commitmen, and the employees performance. From this research results hope able to mange and consider the five variables as measure for developing job satisfaction, organizational commitmen and the employees performance. High and low of job satisfaction, organizational commitmen and the employees performance which was detaile from this research can be distinguished from  an influential leader, even it was believed that make a satisfield, commitmen, and the performance is not easy something and dependent, about a leadership generally tell about satisfaction, commitmen and officer performance can be followed from the leader, so one of superior leadership style. Is believed very suitable and determine job satisfaction, organizational commitmen and the employees performance from every organization Keyword : Leadership Style; Job Satisfaction; Organizational Commitmen; Employees Performance.
