Abstract

Turnover intention is a human resource problem that is often faced by company in Indonesia, therefore researchers are encouraged to conduct research on turnover intention where the research method used is qualitative analysis with Charting the flied. The sample used is an article that discusses the turnover intention in 2016-2021 which includes 16 articles. The article can be accessed through the journal of Sinta 6. The data is classified based on the year of publication, independent variables, research methods, and important findings. The results of this study are that turnover intention is influenced by job satisfaction, organizational commitment, job stress, work and compensation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon that every year universities in Indonesia produce new graduates who continue to increase in number. This condition results in more competitive employment opportunities. Problems regarding the unemployment rate and the proportion of employment also continue to increase. According to BPS in 2022, the open unemployment rate at the Diploma education level was 4.59% and 4.80% for college graduates. This study aims to determine the effect of risk-taking tendencies, income expectations, and adversity intelligence on entrepreneurial intentions in 2019 Management undergraduate students at Tidar University. This study uses a quantitative approach that uses a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The sample in this study were 56 S1 Management 2019 students of Tidar University using purposive sampling technique with the slovin formula. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination test. From the results of the analysis test conducted, the results show that the tendency to take risks and adversity intelligence has no effect on entrepreneurial intention. However, income expectations have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

Coffee is a plantation commodity that has high economic value. Indonesian coffee consumption continues to increase due to the shifting trend of drinking coffee in society. Magelang Regency as a coffee producer has the potential to be developed. By considering the area of coffee plantations and the condition of Magelang Regency as a super-priority tourist destination, a strategy is needed to develop the potential of coffee as a good economically viable product. Thus, this study aims to analyze the coffee plantation development strategy in Magelang Regency through the Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) matrix. The results showed that the condition of coffee plantations in Magelang Regency experienced a decrease in land area from year to year. Strategy analysis in an effort to develop the potential of coffee plantations in Magelang Regency through SWOT analysis is in quadrant III. The strategy that can be implemented is a turn-around strategy through efforts to increase knowledge of cultivation, postharvest, and technology for coffee farmers, and rejuvenating coffee plants that are entering an unproductive period.

Abstract

In this 4.0 era, many companies have switched to using digitization for work purposes, implementing digital applications that aim to make it easier for the people involved in their work processes. This literature-based research can provide benefits in the form of knowledge relevant to the research conducted, namely looking for information on the relationship between the use of digital applications and work effectiveness, where the data used is obtained from relevant research and previous studies related to the topic. The results of relevant research and previous research are useful for strengthening theories, ideas and phenomena that are related and have an effect on research variables. In this study, the results of a review of the use of digital applications with various types and their impact on employee work results will determine the level of work effectiveness.

Abstract

This study was carried out with the intention of providing an overview of the evolution of research or studies on how the culture of kaizen is in Indonesia. Articles that were published in 12 national journals over the course of this study's observation period of six years, from 2016 to 2021, make up the sample for this research. The data obtained consists of 19 different publications that talk about kaizen culture. The method of charting the field was the method that was applied in this study. This study classifies papers according to their subject matter, type of research, and sector or field of research (area). The topic of the most extensively researched dependent variable is employee performance, the topic of the most extensively researched independent variable is organizational culture, and the research method with a quantitative approach is the research method that is employed the most frequently. The majority of study investigating kaizen culture is conducted by commercial companies and organizations.

Abstract

Productivity is a very important factor for employees to consider in a company. The working conditions experienced by employees have a significant impact on the amount of work produced. Work productivity shows the level of workforce ability in achieving an output. This study aims to determine the contribution of assertive communication and leadership to work productivity. This study uses a literature review method using secondary data. Secondary data in this study were obtained from previous studies published in accredited national journals over the last ten years. Based on the results of the literature review, it is found that assertive communication and leadership in general have a significant effect on increasing work productivity.

Abstract

The desire of employees to leave their jobs does not only have an impact on the employees themselves, but also has an impact on the company. Hence, it is necessary to find out whether workload, work stress, non-physical work environment affect employee intention to leave. This research was conducted at PT BPR Bank BAPAS 69 Magelang with 225 employees as respondents using a random sampling technique of 144. Interviews and questionnaires were used to collect data, and SPSS was used to analyze data using multiple linear regression techniques. According to the findings, the variables of workload and stress at work have a significant impact on intention to quit work. Variables related to non-physical work environment had no discernible impact on intention to leave. At PD BPR Bank Bapas 69, Magelang Regency, the three independent variables simultaneously have a considerable influence on the intention to leave.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the strategies used by PT Forum Bisnis Sejahtera in improving employee performance in the company. Given the importance of the role of HR in the company, companies are required to provide training and development as well as work motivation for all employees, so that employee performance increases and work can be completed effectively and efficiently. This study uses an interpretative qualitative method by conducting direct interviews with the relevant informants. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were taken from interviews with PT Forum Bisnis Sejahtera. In general, the results show that PT Forum Bisnis Sejahtera already has the right strategy in improving the performance of its employees. The strategy by providing training and work motivation can support employee performance. Providing training is very important for companies, because with the training and motivation provided, employees can improve the abilities, skills, and skills possessed by each employee. The motivation given by the company can also improve employee performance.

Abstract

Livestock contributes to fulfilling the protein needs of the Indonesian people, but meat self-sufficiency is still far from being expected in Indonesia. Substitute products are needed to accompany beef in order to achieve meat self-sufficiency in Indonesia. The potential of buffalo as livestock needs to be optimized to support the achievement of meat self-sufficiency in Indonesia. It takes a strategy in planning the development of a comprehensive, effective, and efficient buffalo farm. This study aims to determine the population of buffalo and other ruminants in Magelang Regency and to analyze the strategy of developing buffalo farming in Magelang Regency. The research used the descriptive qualitative method. Data were analyzed using Location Quotients (LQ) modeling and the Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) matrix. The results show that the areas that have the potential as locations for buffalo development in Magelang Regency based on the highest LQ index are Bandongan District, Secang District, Mungkid District, Dukun District, and Muntilan District. The results of the strategy analysis in an effort to develop the potential of buffalo in Magelang Regency through a SWOT analysis are in quadrant I.Keywords: strategy, buffalo livestock, location quotient, SWOT

Abstract

This research aims to identify developments in business performance in the hotel industry in the area around the Borobudur Temple Area, identify strategic leadership policies led by women to enhance business performance in the hotel industry, and formulate a successful female leadership strategy model for improving hotel business performance. The research employs a case study approach using a Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats (SWOT) analysis. The study was conducted within the hotel business sector in Magelang Regency. Data collection techniques were based on structured interviews. The research results, as depicted in the SWOT matrix diagram, reveal that the hospitality industry business in the Borobudur area falls within quadrant 1, indicating a highly profitable situation. The hospitality sector in the Borobudur area boasts both strengths and opportunities, allowing it to capitalize on these favorable conditions. The recommended strategy for this situation is the implementation of growth-oriented policies. Keywords: Business Performance, Strategic Leadership Model, Women’s Leadership, SWOT Analysis, Hospitality Industry ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perkembangan kinerja bisnis pada industri perhotelan di wilayah sekitar Kawasan Candi Borobudur, mengidentifikasi kebijakan kepemimpinan strategis perempuan untuk mendorong kinerja bisnis industri perhotelan, dan merumuskan model strategi kepemimpinan perempuan yang sukses untuk peningkatan kinerja bisnis perhotelan. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan studi kasus dengan basis Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats (SWOT). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bisnis perhotelan di Kabupaten Magelang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terstruktur. Hasil penelitian dalam diagram matrik SWOT menunjukan usaha industri hospitalitasdi Kawasan Borobudur berada pada kuadran 1 yaitu merupakan situasi yang sangat menguntungkan. Hospitalitas di Kawasan Borobudur tersebut memiliki peluang dan kekuatan sehingga dapat memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Strategi yang harus diterapkan dalam kondisi ini adalah mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresif.
