One of the signs of a successful marriage is marital satisfaction of both husbands and wives. However, in the current era, addressing the role of wives who work outside the house hold has been a challenge for some married couples. The aim of this study is to examine the influences of communication, conflict resolution, sexual intimacy, and financial relations on the marital satisfaction of working and non-working wives. The study was conducted on a total of 144 subjects consisting of 90 full-time working wives and 54 non-working wives. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires. Results of linear regression analysis showed a difference in the factors affecting marital satisfaction in working and non-working wives. Marital satisfaction in working wives was influenced by communication, sexual intimacy, and financial relations; while marital satisfaction in non-working wives was influenced by communication and financial relations.

The purpose of this study is to understand the debt behavior based on internal factors, social factor and functional factors in the environment. Theory of planned behavior is used as theoritical base. The study was conducted to test the hypothesis that opinions toward debt behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control influence directly and / or indirectly to the debt behavior, where the intention act as a mediator between the exogenous variables to the dependent variable. Kepuasan kerja karyawan merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh perusahaan. Kepuasan kerja berdampak terhadap banyak hal seperti kinerja, intensi keluar, dan perilaku berorganisasi. Pada beberapa fenomena masih ditemukan kepuasan kerja karyawan yang rendah. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara kepemilikan psikologis dengan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan Perusahaan X. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel yang diteliti yaitu kepemilikan psikologis dan kepuasan kerja. Subjek penelitian adalah 83 orang dengan kriteria sebagai karyawan tetap Perusahaan X dan diperoleh dengan teknik accidental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi parametrik dengan teknik Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan rxy = 0.674 (p < 0.050). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara kepemilikan psikologis dengan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan Perusahaan X. Hasil analisis tambahan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa ada faktor lain yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan Perusahaan X yaitu lama bekerja dan tingkat pendidikan.

Pembelian menjadi cara mengatasi perasaan negatif kerap yang disebabkan rendahnya harga diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara harga diri dengan kecenderungan pembelian kompulsif daring pada mahasiswa. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan negatif antara harga diri dan kecenderungan pembelian kompulsif daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional terhadap 384 partisipan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Online Compulsive Buying Scale yang dikembangkan dari Valence et al., (1988) dan Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (RSES) yang dikembangkan oleh Rosenberg (dalam Boduszek et al., 2012). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara harga diri dan kecenderungan pembelian kompulsif daring (p = 0.00; p <0.05). Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi harga diri yang dimiliki individu, maka semakin rendah tingkat kecenderungan pembelian kompulsif daring dan begitu pula sebaliknya. Abstract. Compulsive behaviour is important to be scientifically understood since it is a form of behaviour that negatively impacts the consumer. A previous study showed that a compulsive person has low self-control, compulsive personality tendencies, and low self-esteem. This study tested the relationship between behaviour towards money and compulsive buying tendencies behaviour towards money from the power prestige dimension, retention time, distrust, and anxiety. The participants of this study are 275 people. The analysis is done by testing the structural model with a partial least square. The research result showed retention time (T-statistics= 2.330, p= .020, original sample = -.121) and anxiety (T-statistics= 3.374, p= .001, original sample = .258) have effects on compulsive buying tendencies. Meanwhile, the power prestige and distrust dimension do not affect buying tendencies. The results of this study have implications for the importance of developing interventions to prevent the adverse effects of compulsive buying through increased financial planning and decreased financial anxiety.Keywords: Attitude towards money; consumer; compulsive buying; path analysis.

Generasi Y merupakan generasi yang rentan terpapar oleh kemajuan teknologi informasi. Dalam proses transaksi jual beli, generasi Y begitu mudah mengakses informasi. Kondisi ini tentu dapat memberi dampak terhadap pola pembelian yang dilakukan remaja salah satunya adalah pembelian impulsive yang dilakukan secara online. Penelitian ini menguji dua hal yakni apakah pembelian impulsive pada remaja pria dan wanita berbeda. Tujuan kedua adalah menguji korelasi antara penjelajahan website yang bersifat hedonis dengan pembelian impulsive pada generasi Y. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala pembelian impulsif online dan skala penjelajahan website secara hedonis. Subjek yang terlibat berjumlah 84 orang. Analisis menggunakan analisis korelasional untuk menguji hubungan antara penjelajahan website hedonis dengan pembelian impulsive. Uji beda digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan pembelian impulsif antara pria dan wanita. Dari hasil analisis menunjukkan jika kedua hipotesis diterima. Hasil penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat dalam pengembangan psikologi konsumen serta dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menanggulangi pembelian impulsive online melalui penjelajahan website hedonis remaja.Kata kunci : hedonis, generasi y, online, pembelian impulsif

Developing a financial wellness questionnaire in Indonesia is necessary to evaluate household financial situation. However, there has been a scarcity of research that adapts and tests the psychometric properties of the financial wellness questionnaire in Indonesia. The purpose of the current study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of Joo’s Financial Wellness Questionnaire. Data was collected using an online survey consisting of 388 participants (25-60 years). The results provided two evidences of the validity of the Indonesian version of the Financial Wellness Questionnaire based on the scale’s internal structure. Firstly, the structure of relationships between items in the questionnaire fits the theoretical model of financial wellness, which includes objective and subjective measurements. Furthermore, the structure of relationships between items in the subjective measure fits the theoretical model of the subjective measure of financial wellness, which comprises aspects of subjective perception, financial behavior, and financial satisfaction. Based on the evaluation of the Multiple Indicator Multiple Cause (MIMIC) model fitted, we also identified the effects of gender, education, and socio-economic status (SES) on some of the subjective financial wellness indicators. Therefore, the questionnaire should consider the aforementioned variables in interpreting the questionnaire scores.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perilaku berwisata melalui sebuah model yang dapat menggambarkan perilaku berwisata. Teori dasar dalam penelitian ini adalah Theory Planned Behavior yang dikemukakan oleh Fishbein dan Ajzen (1975). Menurut teori tersebut intensi dipengaruhi oleh tiga variabel independent yakni sikap, norma subjektif, dan perceived behavioral control (PBC). Di antara ketiganya, intensi menjadi mediator dengan perilaku. Tahapan pertama adalah penyusunan alat ukur terhadap kelima variabel yang di atas. Penyusunan dilakukan dengan diawali Focus Group Discussion. Skala yang telah disusun disebarkan untuk pengambilan data. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 277 orang dengan populasi adalah masyarakat dewasa di Surabaya. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis jalur untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung atau tidak langsung dari faktor tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan jika ternyata suatu perilaku berwisata dipengaruhi oleh intensi. Intensi itu sendiri dipengaruhi oleh PBC. Sementara itu sikap dan norma subjektif tidak terbukti berpengaruh terhadap munculnya intensi berwisata. PBC itu sendiri terdiri dari aspek promo atau tiket harga murah ke tempat tujuan wisata, informasi mengenai penginapan di tujuan wisata, prosedur pengajuan paspor atau visa yang mudah, akses mudah menuju tempat wisata, dan informasi mengenai agenda acara di tempat tujuan wisata. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi masukan dalam strategi pengembangan pariwisata Surabaya dengan mengetahui faktor perilaku berwisata sehingga dapat ditentukan strategi yang tepat untuk mendorong kunjungan wisata.

Everyone can experience stress especially career women. Their work problems can cause stress. Career women go shopping to reduce their stress. Then, credit card become their alternative payment method to pay. However, if the use of credit card is not properly managed, it can lead to unhealthy usage of credit card. This research will explore correlation between three variables there are self-control, neuroticism personality tendencies dan unhealthy usage of credit card. Total participants are 73 career women. Multiply correlation analysis shows self-control and neuroticism personality tendencies are related with unhealthy usage of credit card among career women in Surabaya (R=0.447 ρ=0.000); Partial correlation analysis shows (1) There is no relation between self-control and the unhealthy usage of credit card among career women in Surabaya (r=-0.266 ρ=0.024); (2) There is no relation between neuroticism personality tendencies and the unhealthy usage of credit card among career women in Surabaya (r=0.321 ρ=0.006).

Psychological well-being is characterized by low stress levels and influenced by financial factors. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effect of financial behavior on stress mediated by financial well-being. An instrument validation test was conducted with 200 participants, followed by a hypothesis model including 266 individuals aged 20–40 years with irregular income patterns. Monte Carlo simulations suggested that a sample of 200 was estimated to produce statistical power approaching 0.8 using a purposive non-probability method. Stress instrument, Financial Management Behavior Scale, and Financial Well-being Scale from DASS-21, Dew and Xiao (2011), and Prawitz (2006) were adopted, respectively. According to the hypothesis, financial well-being mediated the relationship between behavior and stress. Data analysis was performed using an efficient macro process in the statistical analysis process. The results showed that financial well-being had a full mediating role in the influence of financial behavior on stress. The primary contribution of this research lies in offering insights into stress reduction through the enhancement of financial well-being.
