Abstract

Advances in science and technology that move so fast provide very significant changes to human life, especially in the field of education and learning. This study aims to design and develop a combination of Android-based learning media that can be used on communication devices such as smartphones in the hope of increasing students' understanding of computer maintenance. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) using a 4D model, namely define, design, development and dissemination which produces android-based learning media products. The instrument used in this study was in the form of a questionnaire distributed to lecturers and students as well as experts to test the feasibility. based on the analysis, it was found that the feasibility test for this android-based learning media was 82.83%, with a valid interpretation of the level of validity of the use. The results of the overall practicality assessment from the practicality test were obtained at 86.34%, so that the practicality level could be interpreted as very practical to use. The results of the overall assessment of the effectiveness test for the effectiveness assessment are 100% so that it can be interpreted as being very effectively used. Thus, this learning media is valid to use, very practical to use and very effectively used in computer maintenance lectures.

Abstract

There is no learning media that uses the Sigil application, so learning media was created using the Sigil applicationaims to test the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) E-Module Using Sigil in the Basic Vocational Subject for Grade X Students. The development model in this study uses the development model (ADDIE) with the following steps: (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation and (5) Evaluate. The research subjects were 31 people. The validity test of the E-Module Using Sigil in the Basic Vocational subject obtained a result of 92.73%, with the interpretation of very valid to use. The practicality test of the E-Module using Sigil in the Basic Vocational subject obtained a result of 93.81%, with the interpretation of very practical to use. Meanwhile, the overall effectiveness test results for the E-Module using Sigil in the Basic Vocational subject were 89.29% very effective to use. Thus, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) E-Module using Sigil in the Basic Vocational subject has been tested for its feasibility, excellence, and can be used in learning activities in the Basic Vocational subject for Class X  at SMKN 1 Singkarak.

Abstract

Pencemaran sampah yang mencemari sungai menjadi masalah serius di Kelurahan Pengambiran akibat penumpukan dan pengelolaan sampah yang buruk. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan Kelompok Peduli Sungai (KPS) Pelangi melalui pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan agar mampu mengelola sampah menjadi produk berguna dan bernilai ekonomi. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. Hasil yang diharapkan meliputi tersusunnya rencana pengelolaan sampah, peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan, serta terciptanya produk kreatif dari limbah organik dan anorganik. Selain mengurangi pencemaran sungai, program ini juga bertujuan menciptakan peluang ekonomi baru bagi masyarakat. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini diharapkan memberi dampak positif terhadap lingkungan dan sosial ekonomi serta menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengelolaan sampah yang inovatif dan berkelanjutan. Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between students' perceptions of programming courses and computational thinking (CT) skills in Information Systems Study Program students at Metamedia University. The sample consisted of 37 semester students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research method used was quantitative with a correlational approach, and data analysis was carried out using the JASP application. The results of the Spearman's rho correlation test showed a value of 0.103 with a p-value of 0.590. This value indicates a very weak and insignificant relationship between perceptions of programming courses and CT skills, as measured by the Mid-Semester Exam scores. This finding indicates that although students have positive perceptions of programming courses, these perceptions are not necessarily directly proportional to their CT skills. This result contradicts initial expectations that assume a strong relationship between positive perceptions and increased CT skills. The implications of this study indicate the need to develop a learning approach that explicitly integrates CT elements in the learning process, assignments, and assessments in programming courses in higher education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara hasil belajar praktik kerja industri atau magang industri siswa SMK dengan minat berwirausaha. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket skala likert. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII di SMKN 2 Padang, sampel sebanyak 47 siswa jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi Pearson Product Moment (PPM). Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar praktik kerja industri siswa dengan minat berwirausaha siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan magang industri yang diikuti secara langsung oleh siswa memberikan dampak yang baik terhadap tumbuh kembang minat berwirausaha siswa SMK.

Abstract

Office ergonomics is a branch of ergonomics that covers the entire work environment (workstations) as well as work tools (especially the use of computers and chairs) in offices. In modern office areas, most activities are carried out using a computerized system, so that all working time is carried out in a sitting working position. In essence, a human biomechanically needs to move in activities, not just stand or sit in only one position. Mie Kuning Putri Minang as the research object is located on Jalan Utara II, Seberang Padang, Padang Selatan District, Padang City, West Sumatra. The aim of this research is to improve work posture using the CMDQ (Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire) and ROSA (Rapid Office Strain Assessment) methods. ). The results of research using the CMDQ method show that employees complain about the neck, shoulders, arms, back, waist, hips, buttocks, and need immediate improvement. The results of the ROSA calculation show that employee A, employee B, and employee C have a high or dangerous risk, and urgent improvements need to be made. The cause of the high risk experienced is due to the inadequate facilities used, the need to update work facilities according to ergonomic standards in the world of work, and holding good and correct computer office ergonomics training to reduce injuries when using computers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat uji validitas produk berupa Media Pembelajaran Modul Multimedia Interaktif Berbasis Macromedia Director MX untuk Kelas X di SMK-SMAK Padang. Penelitian ini Menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D). Validasi dilakukan oleh validator ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli multimedia. Penilaian dari validator untuk Media Pembelajaran Modul Multimedia Interaktif Berbasis Macromedia Director MX di tinjau dari aspek (1) Kelayakan isi diperoleh rata – rata sebesar 90.4%; (2) Komponen Kebahasaan diperoleh rata – rata sebesar 91,00%; (3) Komponen Penyajian diperoleh rata – rata 89.5 %; (4) Komponen Kegrafikan diperoleh rata – rata 90.3 %. . Secara Keseluruhan Penilaian uji validator terhadap Media Pembelajaran Modul Multimedia Interaktif Berbasis Macromedia Director MX diperoleh rata-rata secara keseluruhan sebesar 90,35%, sehingga tingkat validitas dapat di interprestasikan sangat valid digunakan sehingga Media Pembelajaran Modul Multimedia Interaktif Berbasis Macromedia Director MX untuk Kelas X di SMK-SMAK Padang iinterpretasikan sangat valid di gunakan. Berdasarkan penilaian beserta masukan ahli serta hasil dari uji coba lapangan media pembelajaran Modul Multimedia Interaktif Berbasis Macromedia Director MX dapat disimpulkan sudah teruji kelayakannya.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to conduct a meta-analysis of research findings regarding the impact of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on students' thinking skills.Method – This study employs a meta-analytic approach, where data is collected from previous studies that examine the impact of PjBL on students' cognitive thinking skills, use diverse samples in terms of educational contexts and levels, and Integrate findings from previous research to obtain a quantitative perspective on the effect of PjBL. The study employs a meta-analysis method using the random effect Restricted Maximum Likelihood model. A total of 25 articles from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases were analyzed. Publication bias was tested using funnel plot, Egger's test, and Fail-safe N test to ensure data reliability.Findings – The results of the meta-analysis showed that the effect size analyzed comprehensively in all articles obtained a value of 0.223, with a confidence interval value determined at 95%, the estimated upper value of the effect size obtained was 0.377 and the lower limit value was 0.069. The results of the study revealed a significant difference in the mean effect size at the school level between junior high schools, high schools, and higher education. The data used in this study were also free from bias as stated in the results of the funnel plot statistical test, Egger's test, and the Fail-safe N test. Based on these findings which were analyzed holistically, it can be concluded that PjBL can improve students' thinking skills in the learning process. Research Implications – These findings provide empirical evidence that PjBL can be used as an effective teaching strategy to enhance students' thinking skills. This study supports the development of structured project-based educational practices to achieve more optimal cognitive outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila dan deep learning guru di kota Pariaman. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yang diawali dengan observasi dan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah serta guru. Setelah itu melakukan rembuk untuk penentuan jadwal pelaksanaan kegiatan, pemberian pelatihan dengan mendatangkan narasumber. Kegiatan dilakukan secara bertahap yaitu: persiapan dalam bentuk kerja sama dengan mitra, pendidikan atau pelatihan, penguatan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM yang sudah dilakukan menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman guru SDN 12 Cubadak Mentawai Kota Pariaman terhadap Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dan Deep Learning.  Guru SDN 12 Cubadak Mentawai Kota Pariaman mengalami peningkatan tentang konsep  deep learning.  Kata kunci: pelatihan; P5; deep learning; guru SDN 12 Cubadak Mentawai. AbstractThe purpose of this community service (PkM) activity is to improve teachers' understanding of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project and teacher deep learning in Pariaman City. This community service activity is carried out through several stages, which began with observations and interviews with the principal and teachers. After that, discussions were held to determine the schedule for implementing training activities by inviting resource persons. The activities were carried out in stages, namely: preparation in the form of collaboration with partners, education or training, strengthening and evaluation. The results of the PKM activities that have been carried out show that there is an increase in the understanding of teachers at SDN 12 Cubadak Mentawai, Pariaman City regarding the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) and Deep Learning. Teachers at SDN 12 Cubadak Mentawai, Pariaman City, experienced an increase in their understanding of the concept of deep learning Keywords: training; P5; deep learning; teachers of SDN 12 Cubadak Mentawai.
