Abstract

This article explains the activities carried out in Watumanu village, Ngada district; the activities of utilising household materials to be processed into soap are carried out with the village community as partners. The geographical conditions of the land are fertile, and people who use their yards to grow household materials routinely use them for daily consumption. This training assistance aims to provide breakthroughs, knowledge for innovation, and the creation of new products for village communities that make soap from lemongrass. The soap products can become a mainstay for Bumdes and can be used daily to save on household expenses. By using household materials, apart from saving expenses, they can also be sold to increase people's income.

Abstract

The community service program aims to improve literacy skills and develop a culture of numeracy literacy in the home environment through reading houses. The form of community service activities is carried out through counselling or education on the importance of literacy for students through storytelling activities and playing picture puzzles. The community service program is carried out collaboratively by a group of lecturers and students and reading house volunteers and companions in the Nanganesa area, Ende Regency. Implementation of activities goes through several stages, namely planning, determining technical implementation, program implementation and evaluation. The results of community service have succeeded in improving children's literacy skills through storytelling activities and playing puzzles. It is hoped that they can implement them in the school environment.

Abstract

Community service activities in the form of providing training in making soap and candlenut oil by lecturers and students of the economic education study program were conducted in Gero village, Nagekeo district. Commodity products processed into soap and candlenut oil were utilised with the village community as partners. The geographical conditions of fertile land, supported by a community aware of the importance of using natural resources around it, allow the Gero village community to live with an adequate economy. This training assistance aims to provide breakthroughs, knowledge for innovation, and the creation of new products to the village community in making soap from candlenut oil. The soap and candlenut oil products made can become the mainstay products of Bumdes and can be used daily to save household expenses. Utilising household materials and saving expenses can also be sold to increase community income.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using ATM cards on the consumerist behavior of students in the Economic Education study program. The type of research used is explanatory which is used to identify why a phenomenon occurs and how variables influence each other, namely the use of ATM cards influences student consumptive behavior. The data collection technique uses documentation studies and questionnaires, the analysis tool uses simple regression analysis. The results show that the use of ATM cards has a significant effect on the consumerist behavior of economic education students with a percentage of 83%. The conclusion is that ATM cards do make it easier for students to carry out financial transactions, but on the other hand they can also encourage consumer behavior. The solution that can be given to reduce this is by providing education about financial literacy.

Abstract

Saving and loan coorporate have a strategic role in empowering the community's economy, but face serious challenges in the form of bad credit which can threaten operational sustainability. This research aims to analyze the factors that cause bad credit in savings and loan cooperatives and identify appropriate prevention strategies. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design at the busy Koperasi simpan pinjam in Ende. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with 5 informants consisting of cooperative administrators, borrower members and related departments. Data analysis uses thematic analysis techniques with an inductive approach. Research findings on the causes of bad credit are divided into three categories: (1) internal cooperative factors including weak credit analysis systems, lack of supervision, and unprofessional management; (2) external factors include macroeconomic conditions, business competition and natural disasters; (3) customer factors include the borrower's bad character, inability to pay, and misuse of credit. The conclusion is that bad credit in savings and loan cooperatives is caused by complex interactions between internal, external and customer factors. It is necessary to strengthen the risk management system, increase human resource capacity, and apply the principle of prudence in credit distribution.
