Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in the fourth grade Indonesian language subject at SD GMIM 02 Manado by applying the Make A Match Type Cooperative Learning Model. This research was conducted with reference to the Classroom Action research method with 2 cycles. This classroom action research uses 4 stages, namely planning, implementing / acting, observing and reflecting. This data was collected through observation and analysis of the results of the fourth grade students' test with a total of 20 students consisting of 12 boys and 8 girls. This data is obtained through increasing the abilities and skills of students in the learning process and student learning outcomes. From the learning outcome data obtained by researchers at SD GMIM 02 Manado in grade IV, analyzed by calculating the percentage of student learning outcomes completeness, different results were obtained where in cycle I student learning outcomes only reached 59%, while in cycle II the results student learning reaches 87%. So in this study it can be concluded that the application of the make a match cooperative learning model can improve Indonesian learning outcomes with material about understanding the contents of the story in class IV SD GMIM 02 Manado. It is hoped that the application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model can help teachers, especially students, to be more motivated and able to work together in learning, especially in understanding the subject matter.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between teacher teaching creativity and learning outcomes in Natural Sciences in grade VI elementary school students, to determine the level of creativity in teaching teachers and the level of interest in learning Natural Sciences at grade VI elementary school students, and to find a relationship between teaching creativity learning. teachers, interest in learning and learning outcomes of Natural Sciences in grade VI elementary school students. This study uses a descriptive survey method with descriptive statistics to describe the data from the collected sample to make a generalization. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between teaching creativity and learning outcomes in Natural Sciences for grade VI elementary school students. Based on the results of the analysis in table 4.9, it was obtained Tcount = 3595 T table with a significant level = 0.05, with numerator = 2 and denominator = 69 obtained T table = 2,000. It turns out that the value of Tcount is 3595 > 2,000 Ttable, then there is a relationship between student interest in learning and learning outcomes in Natural Sciences for grade VI elementary school students. 69 obtained T table = 2,000. It turns out that the value of Tcount is 7,840 > 2,000 Ttable, and there is a significant relationship between teaching creativity and students' interest in learning together with learning outcomes in Natural Sciences for grade VI elementary school students. significance level of 0.000 and 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan mengetahui secara mendalam proses peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi dengan pendekatan kontekstual melalui teknik Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dan mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan pendekatan kontekstual melalui teknik Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan Action Research yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yaitu model spiral dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri II Tomohon Sulawesi Utara, dengan jumlah siswa 26 orang siswa terdiri dari siswa laki-laki 12 orang dan siswa perempuan 14 orang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) secara keseluruhan bahwa proses pembelajaran kemampuan menulis puisi siswa SD Negeri II Tomohon Sulawesi Utara terlihat meningkat dari waktu ke waktu, yaitu pada tahap Pra-observasi/pre-test dengan skor sebesar 1064, pada siklus I meningkat dengan skor 1182, siklus II meningkat dengan skor 1694, siklus III atau post-test meningkat dengan skor 2184; (2) Ketuntasan belajar yang dimulai dari tes awal sampai dengan siklus III telah menunjukkan peningkatan, pada tes awal 3,85% dan tetap pada siklus I, kemudian meningkat menjadi 11,54% hingga akhirnya meningkat menjadi 96,15% pada siklus III; (3) Pembelajan menulis puisi siswa dengan pendekatan kontekstual melalui teknik CIRC sangat dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD karena pendekatan kontekstual menciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan dalam belajar/active learning.Kata kunci: menulis puisi, kontekstual, cooperative Integrated reading and composition (CIRC)AbstractThis study aims to uncover and know in depth the process of improving the ability to write poetry using a contextual approach through Cooperatif Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) techniques and examine the effectiveness of the technique through the use of a contextual approach Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) to improve the ability to write poetry. The method used was Action Research developed by Kemmis and Mc.Taggart, which is the spiral model with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This study took place in the elementary school SD II Tomohon in North Sulawesi with 26 students consisted of 12 male students and 14 female students. The results of this study are : (1) The overall learning process of poetry writing in elementary school SD II Tomohon in North Sulawesi is seen to rise over time, ie at the stage Pre-Observation/Pre-Test with a score of 1064, the first cycle increased with score of 1182, the second cycle increased with score 1694, the third cycle or Post-Test scored increased by 2184 (2) Exhaustiveness learning which begin from the beginning of the test until the third cycle has shown an increase, at 3.85% and remain in cycle I, then increased to 11.54% and finally reached 96.15% in the third cycle (3) Learning poetry writing by students using contextual approach through CIRC technique much needed in learning Indonesian in elementary school because the contextual approach creates a pleasant atmosphere in active learning.Keywords: Poetry Writing,Contextual, Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC)

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar tema ekosistem siswa kelas V SDN Inpres Hiung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar tema ekosistem siswa kelas V SDN Inpres Hiung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas yang dikembangkan melalui 2 siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Inpres Hiung yang berjumlah 9 orang, yakni 5 orang siswa laki-laki dan 4 orang siswa perempuan. Dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian yang didapat pada pelaksanaan tindakan siklus I adalah hasil belajar siswa hanya mencapai 44,44% sedangkan pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 100%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Inpres Hiung pada pembelajaran tematik tema ekosistem.

Abstract

The purpose of this quantitative study is to obtain information about the level of ICT integration in learning and student’s mathematics achievement, and at the same time to prove whether there is a significant relationship between the two variables.  The respondents of the study were 90 grade five students who enrolled in second semester academic year 2021-2022, in one private school in North Minahasa. To collect the data needed for ICT integration in learning, the researcher distributed a self-construct questionnaire based on the theory of TAM, which was arranged according to Likert’s Scale with 5 alternative answers, from never to always.   Meanwhile, the data of students’ mathematics achievement were based on the result of their mathematics exam.  The result of the study showed that both ICT integration in learning and students’ Mathematics achievement were in moderate or sufficient categories.  Moreover, the result proved that there is a significant relationship between ICT integration in learning and students’ Mathematics achievement.  Therefore, it is recommended that Mathematics teachers implement ICT integration in learning because of the contribution it might give to maximize students’ Mathematics achievement.

Abstract

The problems found from learning Indonesian both from the students and the deficiencies that exist in the teacher because in the teaching and learning process it is not yet oriented towards students as learning subjects but is still teacher-centered, here the teacher uses more of the lecture method, the teacher does not optimize the learning media other than that teachers also lack mastery of the material as a result students find it difficult to learn and their learning outcomes are relatively low. The lack of motivation given by the teacher is a factor in the lack of student learning outcomes in participating in Indonesian language learning. So it is necessary to apply one of the learning models, namely by using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model. This study aims to improve learning outcomes in Indonesian in class V SD GMIM I Tomohon through the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) which refers to Kemmis and Mc Taggart's design by following four stages: Planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and tests. Data analysis techniques in this study calculate the percentage of student learning outcomes. The research results were taken from observations and test results carried out in each cycle. The results showed that the learning outcomes of the first cycle reached 69.70%, while the second cycle reached 90.29%. In this case, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of Indonesian students in class V SD GMIM I Tomohon using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model can improve Indonesian learning outcomes for fifth grade students at SD GMIM 1 Tomohon. So it is suggested to elementary school teachers to be able to apply the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in the learning process

Abstract

This research was conducted based on preliminary observations carried out in class IV of SD INPRES Leleko where it was found that in classroom learning the teacher had not utilized his abilities to the fullest in using the right learning model in teaching. This makes students bored and unenthusiastic about learning because the learning process is only teacher-centered. This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in INDONESIAN LANGUAGE through the application of the Talking Stick learning model. The research design used is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were 15 grade IV students of SD INPRES Leleko. The data collection technique used is observation and testing. The data analysis technique used is presentation. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that in the first cycle, student learning outcomes only reached 64.66%. Because it was found that there were still many students who did not understand the meaning of the questions, the researchers continued in cycle II and student learning outcomes increased to 87.33%. Referring to the results of this study, it was concluded that the application of the Talking Stick learning model to the Indonesian language subject in written material can create a fun learning atmosphere, and involve students as a whole in learning so that students do not feel bored while learning.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: to improve the results of Indonesian language learning regarding beginning reading material through the application of the Explicit Instruction Learning Model for Grade II SD Inpres Wailan. The actions taken in this research process used the class action research method (CAR) to collect and measure students' success in learning Indonesian language learning which was carried out in two cycles. This research method uses a research flow by following a systematically arranged flow as follows: 1) Planning (Plening), 2) Implementation of Action (Action), 3) Observation (Observation), and 4) Reflection (Reflection). The results of learning in the first cycle, the results of student learning completeness only reached a completeness value of 59%. Whereas in cycle II, through the action learning process, it was found that the results of student learning completeness increased to 86%. The conclusion is: Through the application of the Explicit Instruction learning model, in the Indonesian language learning process with the subject matter "Beginning Reading" can improve student learning outcomes in class II SD Inpres Wailan. Suggestions for class II teachers to be able to apply the Explicit Instruction learning model to improve Indonesian learning outcomes, with the subject matter "Beginning Reading" in class II SD Inpres Wailan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian in reading stories through the application of articulation learning models to fourth grade students at SD GMIM 1 Kakaskasen. The design model used is a class action research design (PTK) which consists of four stages: (1) planning stage (2) action stage (3) observation stage (4) reflection stage, which is carried out in two cycles. Data was collected by observing and testing. Data analysis techniques were carried out on learning outcomes that had been completed using the formula KB = T/Tt x 100%. The results showed that the learning outcomes of the first cycle were 64.37%, while the results of the second cycle were 85.62%. In this case, there was an increase in the learning outcomes of Indonesian language students in class IV SD GMIM 1 Kakaskasen by using the articulation learning model. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the articulation learning model can improve Indonesian language learning outcomes in folklore material for fourth grade students at SD GMIM 1 Kakaskasen. So it is suggested to teachers in teaching, Indonesian language subjects especially in class IV SD GMIM 1 Kakaskasen can apply an articulation learning model so that learning outcomes can run optimally.
