Abstract

Learning media play an essential role in the development of students' skills. However, the use of learning media remains low, particularly in developing students' critical and creative thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the increase in critical and creative thinking skills of fifth-grade students in participating in learning using the picture storybook learning media. This study was quasi-experimental and utilized pre- and post-test designs. The subjects of this study were 50 students of a fifth-grade elementary school in cluster IV of Sintang District. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a test instrument to measure students' critical and creative thinking skills. Research data were analyzed using statistical tests, namely the MANOVA test and the independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate a significant increase in students who learn by utilizing picture storybook learning media in terms of critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project on the character formation of students at SD Negeri Pandu. The study offers a novel integrative exploration that combines locally themed projects with character value reinforcement through exemplary behavior and habituation approaches within the context of elementary education. In contrast to previous studies, which tend to be conceptual, this research empirically examines the practical implementation of P5 through gardening activities involving collaborative participation of teachers, students, school principals, and parents. The gap in prior literature, which has rarely addressed students' spiritual and social dimensions within local elementary school contexts, is addressed through a descriptive qualitative approach employing interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the P5 project has a significant impact on fostering religious character, cooperation, responsibility, and environmental awareness. The success of P5 implementation is influenced by the support of school principals, teacher commitment, parental involvement, and resource availability. This study provides a concrete contribution to the development of project-based character education practices in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kohesivitas kelompok terhadap kecerdasan emosional guru sekolah minggu di GMIM Imanuel Bahu. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya kemampuan guru sekolah minggu dalam kelompok, memiliki ketertarikan dengan kelompok, serta ketertarikan terhadap tugas kelompok yang dapat membentuk kohesivitas yang baik dalam kelompok. Sehingga dengan adanya kohesivitas dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap kecerdasan emosional guru sekolah minggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Sampel dalam penelitian terdiri dari 35 guru sekolah minggu GMIM Imanuel Bahu. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kohesivitas kelompok terhadap kecerdasan emosional guru sekolah minggu di GMIM Imanuel Bahu. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,603 yang menunjukkan bahwa kohesivitas kelompok berkontribusi sebesar 60,3% terhadap kecerdasan emosional dan 39,7% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran kreatif di SD GMIM 27 Manado, termasuk faktor pendukung, penghambat, dan manfaatnya terhadap proses belajar siswa. Kebaruan studi terletak pada analisis holistik penerapan berbagai strategi kreatif sekaligus, berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang lebih terfokus pada metode tunggal. Penelitian ini mengisi kekurangan literatur yang minim kajian mengenai hambatan praktis dan dukungan institusional dalam pelaksanaan strategi kreatif. Metode kualitatif studi kasus digunakan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan menunjukkan strategi tersebut efektif meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, menciptakan suasana belajar menyenangkan, serta mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kolaboratif. Kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu, sarana, dan kebutuhan pelatihan guru menegaskan pentingnya dukungan institusional dan pengembangan profesional untuk optimalisasi pembelajaran kreatif di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa psikologi Universitas Negeri Manado. Latar belakang penelitian ini adanya fenomena dalam lingkungan kampus, dimana mahasiswa lebih sering berinteraksi dengan teman sebaya selama proses perkuliahan dibandingkan dengan dosen atau keluarga. Hal ini menjadikan teman sebaya sebagai sumber dukungan sosial paling dekat dan berpengaruh dalam kehidupan akademik mereka dan dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan strategi yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei, dengan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 191 responden dan membagi populasi ke dalam strata secara proporsional, lalu sampel diambil secara acak dari masing-masing strata. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket (kuisioner) dan analisis data dibantu menggunakan SPSS v25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa psikologi Universitas Negeri Manado. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui persamaan regresi Y= 20,497 + 0,756X, yang mengindikasikan bahwa setiap peningkatan 1% pada nilai dukungan teman sebaya akan meningkatkan motivasi belajar sebesar 0,756. Uji hipotesis t menghasilkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 17,660 lebih besar dari t-tabel 1,652 sehingga menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan. Sementara itu, nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,623 menunjukkan dukungan sosial teman sebaya memberikan kontribusi sebesar 62,3% terhadap variabel motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial teman sebaya memiliki kontribusi yang kuat dalam memengaruhi tingkat motivasi belajar mahasiswa psikologi Universitas Negeri Manado.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) approach to improve the writing skills of third-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tataaran. The research category used was Classroom Action Research, which was implemented in two rounds, each of which included the design phase, implementation of activities, observation, and reflection. The research respondents were 27 third-grade students at Tataaran 1 Public Elementary School. The information gathering strategies applied included observation and evaluation, while the information analysis strategy used was descriptive analysis. Based on the learning achievement percentage obtained in the first cycle of 69.30%, improvements were needed in the second cycle, which subsequently indicated progress and achieved the classical mastery standard. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) approach is effective in improving the writing skills of third-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tataaran.

Abstract

The research was conducted to improve science learning outcomes for fourth-grade students at GMIM 7 Tomohon Elementary School in the academic year 2022/2023, with a total of 33 students. This study used classroom action research (CAR) with four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection, which were applied in two cycles. In this study, observations and assessments were conducted by asking all students a series of written questions using Student Worksheets and Assessment Sheets. The data were analyzed using percentage calculations and the average learning outcomes achieved by the students. The initial data obtained showed that the students' science learning outcomes were 60%. The research results showed that the students' science learning outcomes experienced a significant improvement after implementing the problem-solving learning model. In Cycle I, there was an increase in learning outcomes to 70.15%. In Cycle II, the learning outcomes reached 90%. This research provides evidence of consistent improvement in the student's science learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II. Based on the research findings and discussions, implementing the Problem-Solving learning model will improve the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at GMIM 7 Tomohon Elementary School. Abstract

This study aims to improve Mathematics learning outcomes in 5th grade students of SD Inpres Kinilow, through the application of the Problem-Based Learning Model. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK) Model Kemmis and Robbin MC Taggart. Research Subjects 5th grade with a total of 5 students, consisting of 4 girls and 1 boy. This research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle included four stages, namely; planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage and reflection stage. Data collection techniques in this study are observation and tests. Based on the results of research in cycle I, only 2 students were complete while 3 were incomplete or you could say that the learning outcomes in cycle I were 40%. After implementing the action in cycle II, student learning outcomes have increased, where 5 students are complete. It can be said that the learning outcomes in cycle II are 100% and have reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 75. Thus it can be concluded that by applying the Problem-Based Learning Model with Decimal Fraction Multiplication material can improve Mathematics learning outcomes in students in grade 5 SD Inpres Kinilow

Abstract

Based on the results of research carried out in class IV of SD Negeri 1 Nanasi with a total of 13 students consisting of 7 male students and 6 female students. This was done to determine the feasibility of the Problem Based Learning model in learning Indonesian for class IV students at SD Negeri 1 Nanasi. The aim of this classroom action research is to analyze and improve the Indonesian language learning process on poetry reading material using the Problem Based Learning model in class IV of SD Negeri 1 Nanasi. Problem Based Learning is a model in the learning approach process that presents problems that are realistic and meaningful for students to learn in their learning environment about critical thinking, problem solving skills, gaining essential knowledge and concepts from the subject matter being studied. This research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method, according to Arikunto (2010: 16) with four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection used in cycles I and II. Student learning outcomes in cycle I received an average score of 60 and the percentage of student learning completeness was 30 with the Incomplete criteria and increased in cycle II with the average student score being 82 and the percentage of learning completeness reaching 92 with the complete criteri
