Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdikan kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilakukan bekerjasama dengan salah satu firma hukum yang ada di wilayah Jakarta. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus – Desember 2023. Kegitan ini meliputi tiga tahap yaitu diskusi mengenai permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra, pengambangan aplikasi berbasis website untuk solusi bagi permasalahan mitra, dan pelatihan penggunaan website. Website yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan mitra melakukan pelayanan kepada klien. Website dikembangkan dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP, HTML, CSS dan DBMS MySQL. Database Website ini dikembangkan untuk beberapa tipe pengguna yaitu pengunjung, klien, dan lawyer. Website ini menawarkan beberapa fitur utama meliputi registrasi, pemesanan layanan, unggah dan unduh dokumen, mengelola layanan, status penanganan kasus, dan pembayaran. Buku manual dibuat sebagai panduan bagi pengguna untuk mempelajari cara melakukan instalasi website, mengenal dan menggunakan fitur-fitur yang disediakan oleh website. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan oleh enam orang pengguna, website ini dikatakan mudah digunakan dan dapat membantu memfasilitasi mitra dalam meningkatkan pelayanan terhadap klien. Website yang dikembangkan memudahkan mitra untuk melakukan transaksi dan pengurusan dokumen klien. This Community Service activity was carried out in collaboration with a partner, one of the law firms in the Jakarta. This project has been in August – December 2023. This project includes three stages: discussion of problems faced by the partner, developing a website for the partner, and training on how to use the website. The aim of the website is to improve the services for parter business. This website was developed using PHP, HTML, CSS and MySQL. This website was developed for several types of users, namely visitors, clients and lawyers. This website offers some main features including registration, ordering services, uploading and downloading documents, managing services, case handling status, and payments. The manual book was created as a guide for users to learn how to install the website, get to know and how to use the features provided by the website. Based on testing carried out by six users, this website is easy to use and helpful to facilitate partners in improving the services for clients. The developed website makes it easier for partners to carry out transactions and manage client's documents.

Abstract

This research discusses the design and implementation of an online ordering system for time schedules for barber services. The main goal is to make it easier for customers to plan and book barber service schedules via the online platform. The system includes intuitive booking features, schedule notifications, and integration with customer calendars. The development method used involves analyzing user needs, designing a responsive interface, and testing system functionality. Implementation results show increased accessibility and convenience for customers, while managers gain efficiency in schedule management. The success of this implementation makes a positive contribution to the user experience and operational efficiency of the barber service.Keywords: Online Ordering System; Barber Service Time Schedule; Barber Ecommerce AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas perancangan dan implementasi sistem pemesanan online jadwal waktu untuk layanan barber. Tujuan utama adalah mempermudah pelanggan dalam merencanakan dan memesan jadwal layanan barber melalui platform online. Sistem ini mencakup fitur pemesanan yang intuitif, notifikasi jadwal, dan integrasi dengan kalender pelanggan. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan melibatkan analisis kebutuhan pengguna, perancangan antarmuka yang responsif, dan pengujian fungsionalitas sistem. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan peningkatan aksesibilitas dan kenyamanan bagi pelanggan, sementara pengelola mendapatkan efisiensi dalam manajemen jadwal. Keberhasilan implementasi ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengalaman pengguna dan efisiensi operasional layanan barber.

Abstract

The collection of student feedback, encompassing aspirations, and complaints, serves as a cornerstone in improving the quality of education and fostering institutional responsiveness in higher education. However, many universities, including Tarumanagara University, especially the Faculty of Information Technology still rely on manual processes for submitting these concerns, necessitating face-to-face interactions with faculty administrative personnel. This traditional approach often results in inefficiencies, including delayed responses and difficulty tracking complaints. This research addresses these issues by proposing the development of a web-based application designed to centralize and streamline the processing of student complaints and aspirations. Utilizing the waterfall model as the development methodology, the application is developed using ASP.NET with C# and SQL Server to ensure robust performance and data management. The outcomes of this initiative demonstrate significant improvements in both time efficiency and resource allocation for handling student feedback within the Faculty of Information Technology at Tarumanagara University. By implementing this web-based solution, the faculty aims to foster a more effective and responsive feedback mechanism that enhances student engagement and satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based tourist destination application for Glodok Pancoran, Jakarta, to improve tourist experience and promote local culture and culinary. The methods used in developing this application include database design, development using Visual Studio Code, React for the frontend, and Go (Golang) for the backend, as well as database management with MySQL. The app was tested using black box method and System Usability Scale (SUS) assessment to ensure functionality and user satisfaction. With an Agile approach, the app integrates Google Maps and Street View to provide virtual tours, which is a new innovation in promoting local tourism. The results showed a high level of user satisfaction with an average SUS score of 90.33, which was categorized as excellent. This study highlights the importance of virtual tours in tourism, especially for first-time visitors, and recommends further development based on user feedback to improve tourism and the local economy.

Abstract

Students in a study program within the faculty are important stakeholders in higher education. The continuity and efficiency of teaching and learning activities depend significantly on the number of students in a study program. The Faculty of Information Technology at Tarumanagara University currently offers two study programs: Informatics Engineering and Information Systems. While Tarumanagara University already has a system for managing student data, it requires further development to remain competitive with other universities, particularly those offering information technology programs. The existing system provides only basic information, such as whether the number of students this year has increased or decreased compared to the previous year. However, it lacks the ability to deliver a comprehensive overview of student data. To address this limitation, a monitoring system is needed to provide more accurate and systematic information. This system will be visualized in the form of a dashboard, offering insights into trends such as the number of students, their school origins, gender distribution, and address/region of origin. The dashboard design is based on the waterfall model of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and is developed using Power BI Desktop.

Abstract

Food is one of the essential things in society. Foodstuffs prices are important factors in the stability economy. In Indonesian society, some foodstuffs, e.g., rice, beef, chicken egg, cooking oil, and sugar are the main ingredients in their cuisine. Analyzing and predicting the foodstuffs price is interesting job. This research is conducted to develop models for forecasting the price of rice, beef, chicken egg, cooking oil, and sugar. It implements the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model and a daily time-series dataset from a traditional market in Surabaya. Surabaya is the capital city of East Java province, and it is one of the densest cities in Indonesia. The experiments run univariate time-series forecasting. The experimental results show that LSTM works well to forecast the price of rice, beef, chicken egg, cooking oil, and sugar. The evaluation results obtain MAPE scores as 0.12%, 0.03%, 0.72%, 0.36%, and 0.08% for models of rice, beef, chicken egg, cooking oil, and sugar, respectively. The annual average price of beef, chicken egg, and cooking oil show an increasing trend and those foodstuffs have positive correlations with each other.

Abstract

Population growth is addition or reduction of the population which is influenced by several factors. In Indonesia, this is something that pays great attention and is monitored by the government, especially on Java Island. Worries of population increase is one of the reasons for this monitoring which can cause problems with the support power and capacity power of the environment. The purpose of this design is to predict the population and calculate population growth rate at sub-district level in the Bogor area for 2021 and 2022 using population data at different annual intervals in each areas. Prediction is done using Long Short Term Memory. The configuration parameters of the model used for training and testing is different for each areas which obtained from the results of the parameter experiment which was repeated 5 times for each configuration to obtain the best Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) average. All models for LSTM method gain an average MAPE below 10% in each areas so that the models for prediction were stated to be very good.

Abstract

The Indonesian Sign Language System or in Bahasa Indonesia is named Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia (SIBI) is one of the media used for communication by deaf people in Indonesia. The components include the hand or part of the hand used to form the sign (performer). SIBI is used by several deaf educational institutions in Indonesia. It is a community service project that collaborates with one of the special schools in Jakarta. The partner's problem is not yet implementing the information technology to support teaching and learning activities, and to distribute online learning materials. The PKM team offers solutions to utilize a website to distribute online learning materials. This project is developing a SIBI-based sign language learning website. This project is carried out using the discussion method. The team contains some lecturers and a college student to develop a website and a partner participate as a website tester. Website developed using PHP and MySQL. The website developed provides the main features, namely account registration, login, logout, learning materials and quizzes. The results of website testing carried out by partners revealed that the sign language learning website complies with specifications and makes it easy to deliver learning materials and quizzes online. ABSTRAK Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia (SIBI) merupakan salah satu media yang digunakan untuk komunikasi penyandang disabilitas tunarungu di Indonesia. Komponen penentu makna meliputi tangan atau bagian tangan yang digunakan untuk membentuk isyarat (penampil).  SIBI digunakan oleh beberapa lembaga pendidikan tunarungu di Indonesia. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bekerja sama dengan salah satu sekolah luar biasa di Jakarta. Permasalahan mitra yaitu belum menerapkan teknologi informasi untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar dan penyebaran bahan ajar secara online. Tim PKM menawarkan solusi untuk memanfaatkan teknologi wesite untuk pengyebaran bahan ajar secara online. PKM ini melakukan pengambangan website pembelajaran bahasa isyarat berbasis SIBI. PKM dilakukan dengan metode diskusi. Tim PKM bertindak sebagai pengambang website dan mitra bertindak sebagai penguji website. Website dikembangkan menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Website yang dikembangkan menyediakan fitur utama yaitu daftar akun, login, logout, materi pembelajaran dan kuis. Hasil pengujian website yang dilakukan oleh mitra mengungkapkan bahwa website pembelajaran bahasa isyarat sesuai dengan spesifikasi dan memudahkan penyampaian materi pembelajaran dan kuis secara online

Abstract

This study aims to design a K-Means clustering-based system that can help Kartini Helmet Store in grouping helmet sales data based on product category. With the increasing need for deeper data analysis to support business strategies, this store faces challenges in understanding sales patterns and customer preferences. This system utilizes the K-Means clustering algorithm implemented through the Python programming language to group sales data, facilitate trend analysis, and provide visualization of clustering results. The data used are store sales records in Excel format, which are then processed through stages starting from preprocessing to evaluating clustering results using the silhouette coefficient method to ensure clustering accuracy. The results of this study are expected to help stores in making decisions related to stock management, adjusting marketing strategies, and increasing customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The study focuses on the development of a web-based application designed to promote the Glodok Pancoran tourist destination in Jakarta, Indonesia. The primary aim is to enhance visitor experiences by providing comprehensive information on local culture, cuisine, and transportation options. The research employs a systematic design process involving use case, activity, sequence, and class diagrams for process planning, alongside conceptual and logical database design. The application highlights a user-friendly interface with sections dedicated to heritage destinations, culinary experiences, religious sites, virtual tours, transportation, news, and reviews. The application utilizes Next.js for the front end and Golang with MySQL for the back end, adhering to the Agile methodology. Research methods included surveys and interviews with village representatives, which highlighted a significant interest in Chinese culture and cuisine and identified a need for improved information on transportation and local attractions. The project successfully increases awareness and accessibility of Glodok Pancoran, positioning it as a prominent tourist destination.
