Abstract

 There are various requirements in becoming the leader of madrasa in Islam, such as the existence of justice, honesty, resposibility, emphaty, and so fort, which are pertinent to the expert theories about leadership. It is preferrable that the leader of madrasah come from generous generation because, indirectly, it affects the leadership quality of the leader. Once a person become a leader in madrasa, he must be able to perform very well because it means that he deal with responsibility in the world and in the hereafter. Rasulullah saw. saw forbade people to  ask to be a leader, especially when they do not own most leadership aspects. If people insist for that responsibility, Allah swt might will not bless that job, and futhermore, there might be bad things happen in the future, such as students’ failure in national examination, lack of school achievement, lack of society reliance, and so forth. These might be happen since basically, Allah swt will not help people who ask for position.Keyword: Leader, Madrasa, Alquran, Hadits

Abstract

Every education institution especially Islamic education institution properly provides the best learning services in developing the effort of student quality. Services in education is an absolutely student needs, especially services in developing learning quality, moreover seeing the needs of competitive era. Student’s competence will compete with another competence both in own country and global world particularly in ASEAN region. To undertake the best services in every Islamic education institution, each circle academician of education needs to know the best service concepts. By knowing it that is expected all circle academicians could provide the optimal services for implementing qualified learning. Abstract

Women's leadership has always been a discussion of controversy, especially in explaining, interpreting and determining the law of a woman's leadership. This study aims to: (1) Review the interpretation related to the concept of leadership with the interpretation model of maudhu'i Al-Qur'an letter An-Nisa verse 34 and Al-Mujadalah verse 11 according to some classical and contemporary commentators including Ibn Abbas, Imam Jalaludin, Ibn Kathir, Mustafa Al-Maraghi, Muhammad Hasbi and Quraish Shihab, (2) Assessing the relevance of the concept of female leadership in an Islamic perspective with the concept of leadership in the 21st century. This type of research is literature study using descriptive-analytic method, historical-philosophical approach, carried out with documentation techniques, analysis, interpretation, checking the validity of the data to obtain the results of the study according to purpose. The results of the study show that there are differences between the thoughts of classical mufassir and contemporary mufassir on women's leadership based on An-Nisa verse 34. It is the differences in times, conditions, situations and civilizations that influence it. The 21st Century is no longer a century where women cannot join in politics, government, social affairs, education, and so on. Contemporary mufassir allow women to be leaders as long as they do not violate the sharia and do not ignore the main task of being a wife. Relevance is related to the realization of the Constitution of 1945 article 27 concerning equal rights and obligations of Indonesian citizens, and Article 31 related to the right of education for all citizens of Indonesia relevant to the letter of Al-Mujadalah verse 11. The relevance is related to the realization of Article 27 of the 1945 constitution concerning the equality of Indonesian citizens' rights and obligations, and Article 31 concerning the right of education of all Indonesian citizens relevant to Al-Mujadalah verse 11. Men or women who are leaders, most importantly is the realization of the good leadership for creating baldatun thayyibun warabbun ghafur.

Abstract

Madrasah exhibition is an attempt of Islamic educational institution to acquaint itself to public till people know of its existence, advantages and superiority than the other schools. The exhibition is expected to demonstrate excellences of madrasah that will change public views so far, which are assumed madrasah is identical as backward, dirty and not advanced. Madrasah excellences are displayed on the society will make people excited and interested in Islamic educational institutions. Abstract

Each education institute has a great longing to be able to conduct all education programs thoroughly. The desire to do the whole brings in the school endeavor that is how to create favorable situation between schools and students’ participant.  The aim in doing close relationship between school and students’ participant is to give more comprehension for them in school life. Home visit is one of the school programs whose enormous effect in attempting school programs. It does not only overcome the students’ difficulty or achievement of learning but also has a function as offering school programs which is necessary participation or involvement of students’ participant and  people in the society to accomplish school programs well.Keyword:  Home Visit, development, and Education

Abstract

The development of Islamic education, especially in Madrasah is needed to improve the quality of religious education. Madrasah is the representation of implementation the Islamic kaffah, because Madrasah is believed to be able to integrate the religion and modern knowledge to the students. The best education will produce the best students too. This is reflective of the activities what the students do in the process of education program. Abstract

In the Islamic school process, environment-role is affecting to the education accomplishment, either in Islamic school or not. Education field out of Islamic school such as; home-schooling and society-schooling. If these could work each other propitiously, so the result would be filled the bill by government, people, and religion. Otherwise, if Islamic education is only focused on classroom-teaching and paying no regard to society education. Thus, very hard to attain intended outcome. Furthermore, if Islamic education does not care about family setting so will occur teaching learning process-failure especially Islamic religion subject. Therefore, in the carrying out of education in Islamic school, the importance of environment setting in education needs serious consideration to figure ideal human by government, people, and religion. Abstract

Discussing about the implementation of madrasa quality increasement management is inseparable from the concept of management, roles and responsibility of management, the concept of quality, and how to implement madrasa quality increasement management itself. The effort of increasingquality of madrasa is basically conducted to face the competitive educational world, especially to face the issue of ASEAN community which starts from 2015. Furthermore, the big challenge for madrasa is how should madrasaprepare themself in increasing students’ competencies and all aspect related to instructional process. Therefore, the concept related to management, roles and responsibility of management, the concept of quality, and how to implement madrasa quality increasement management itself will bediscussed below.Keywords: Management, Quality, Madrasa.

Abstract

This research aims to find out, describe, and find: First, the values that become the foundation of interpersonal relationship of Islamic teachers; Second, the interpersonal relationship models of Islamic teachers for instilling religious values in boarding school system. This research used qualitative research with a multiple case study in MA MAWAR and SMA al-Munawariyah East Java Indonesia. These two institutions were chosen because they have extraordinary developments and have implemented a boarding school system to produce a generation that has akhlaqul Karimah. Data collection techniques used (1) interviews (2) observations and (3) documentation. Data analysis used constant comparative analysis method. Data checking was done in four ways, namely: credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results showed that the first, the religious teachers make the values of faith and devotion, sincerity, professionalism, process-oriented, openness, integrity, and tawādhu` as a foundation in building interpersonal relationships with students. The second, interpersonal relationship model of Islamic teachers in the process of instilling religious values varies greatly. This is in accordance with the characteristics of an Islamic teacher and his educational institution. Some interpersonal relationship models that have been carried out by the Islamic teachers are interactional, humanistic, directive, spiritual religious, authoritative and tolerant. Furthermore, this study also emphasizes the importance of actualizing teacher-student spiritual interpersonal relationships in the learning process so that students' religious attitudes can be achieved in everyday life.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship development in Pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) is an important thing to do so that they become independent. This study aims to reveal and elaborate on three things, namely: the concept of kiai leadership in developing entrepreneurship in pesantren; strategies for developing entrepreneurship in pesantren; and the benefits obtained by pesantren and the surrounding community with the development of entrepreneurship in pesantren. The data were obtained from two pesantrens that have been successful in developing entrepreneurship, namely pesantren Sidogiri and pesantren An Nur 2. Data collection is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. All data were analyzed using domain and componential analysis techniques. The results of the data analysis show that the kiai's concept for developing entrepreneurship in pesantren is collective-collegial, democratic-participatory, and consultative-authoritative. While the strategy carried out by the Kiai is to build and maintain trust, empowerment, synergy, innovation, flexible policies, and solid cooperation. The benefits of the results of entrepreneurship development in pesantren are felt and enjoyed by various parties, namely: first, the availability of basic necessities for students, alumni, teachers, pesantren and surrounding communities. Second, the opening of new job opportunities for the community, especially residents around the pesantren. Third, pesantren have economic independence, so that they are authoritative and independent in regulating and managing pesantren. The research has implications for the development of entrepreneurship based on religious values.
