Abstract

This study aims to analyze the motivations of students from the Islamic Education (PAI) class of 2020 at UIN Malang in participating in the Fast Track Program, as an effort to expedite higher education and increase the number of graduates in the Master's program. The research employs a qualitative approach with field research methods. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation over a period of two weeks in June 2024. The findings indicate strong support among students for the program, viewing it as an opportunity to accelerate their professional careers. However, students face challenges such as heavy credit loads and overlapping class schedules. With appropriate support, including effective time management and career guidance, the program can be enhanced to optimize academic and career achievements for students.

Abstract

The aim of this study reveals the concept of Islamic integrated education and its implementation at Ar-Rohmah Islamic boarding school Hidayatullah Malang. The method used in this study is qualitative, while data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the data analysis show that integrated education at Ar-Rohmah has a solid foundation from the Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadith as well as the views of the Muslim scholars. The implementation of Islamic integrated education at this institution is manifested explicitly in the organization’s mission statement, namely to carry out tauhid-based integral education that combines tarbiyah ruhiyah (spiritual education), aqliyah (intellectual), and jismiyah (physical). This mission is a realization of Ar-Rohmah's vision, which is to create excellent and competitive educational institutions to produce a generation that is cautious, intelligent, and independent. The vision and mission are translated into the educational goals of Ar-Rohmah, which aims to shape humans according to the vision and mission of their creation, namely as a servant of Allah (‘abdullah) and His vicegerent (khalifah) with the following characteristics: first, to have a strong spiritual mentality- aspects of ruhiyah. Second, have the knowledge and breadth of insight into life -aspects of aqliyah. Third, have expertise and skills- aspects of jismiyah. This institution also implements an integrated curriculum through a combination of the national curriculum (K13), the religious curriculum (Diniyah Khas), and the Hidayatullah Specific Parenting Curriculum (Kurikulum Kepengasuhan Khas). As well as integrated between formal schools and religious schools (madrasah diniyah).

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of (a) How is the application of multimedia/gadget methods in improving the ability to memorize Hijaiyah letters in Tanwirul Huda Kindergarten Padangsari Majenang? (b) What is the impact of using multimedia/gadget methods on children's motivation and interest in memorizing the Hijaiyah Letters at Tanwirul Huda Kindergarten Padangsari Majenang? Meanwhile, the aim of this research is (a) Improving the ability to memorize the Hijaiyah letters of children at Tanwirul Huda Kindergarten Padangsari Majenang through the use of multimedia/gadget methods. (b) Knowing the impact of using multimedia/gadget methods on children's motivation and interest in memorizing Hijaiyah Letters at Tanwirul Huda Kindergarten Padangsari Majenang. This research uses three rounds of action research. Each round consists of four stages, namely: Planning, Action, observation and reflection. The target of this research is grade 1 students for the 2023-2024 academic year. The data obtained is in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely, pre-cycle (35%), cycle I (65%), cycle III (75%). The conclusion of this research is that the increase in the ability to memorize Hijaiyah letters using the Multimedia/Gadget Method for Group B2 at Tanwirul Huda Kindergarten Padangsari Majenang is very significant Abstrak Penelitian ini berdasarkan permasalahan (a) Bagaimana penerapan metode multimedia/gadget dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal huruf Hijaiyah di TK Tanwirul Huda Padangsari Majenang? (b) Apa dampak penggunaan metode multimedia/gadget terhadap motivasi dan minat anak-anak dalam menghafal Huruf Hijaiyah di TK Tanwirul Huda Padangsari Majenang? Sedangkan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (a) Meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal Huruf Hijaiyah anak-anak di TK Tanwirul Huda Padangsari Majenang melalui penggunaan metode multimedia/gadget. (b) Mengetahui dampak penggunaan metode multimedia/gadget terhadap motivasi dan minat anak-anak dalam menghafal Huruf Hijaiyah di TK Tanwirul Huda Padangsari Majenang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan (action research) sebanyak tiga putaran. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu : Perencanaan, Tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 Tahun pelajaran 2023-2024. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes formatif, lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dari hasil analis didapatkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus II yaitu, pra siklus (35%), siklus I (65%), siklus III (75%). Simpulan dari penelitian ini peningkatkan Kemampuan Menghafal Huruf Hijaiyah Dengan Menggunakan Metode Multimedia/Gadget Kelompok B2 Di TK Tanwirul Huda Padangsari Majenang sangat signifikan

Abstract

Ibnu Sina merupakan salah satu filosofis Islam, beliau memiliki pemikiran filosofis yang memiliki relevansi dalam upaya mengatasi krisis dalam pendidikan Islam di era society 5.0. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji relevansi pemikiran filosofis Ibnu Sina dalam konteks pendidikan Islam di era society 5.0. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dua sumber, sumber primer yang digunakan adalah dasar filosofis serta teologis pada kitab As-Syifa’. Adapun sumber sekunder berupa buku, jurnal ilmiah, dokumen dan lainnya yang relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ibnu Sina membagi ilmu menjadi dua kategori, yaitu ilmu teoritis dan ilmu praktik. Hasil penelitian berikutnya menunjukkan pemikiran Ibnu Sina yang bersifat holistik dan terintegrasi relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan Islam di era society 5.0. Dengan demikian, pandangan filosofis Ibnu Sina dapat membantu meningkatkan pendidikan Islam modern, mempersiapkan generasi muda guna menghadapi tantangan global serta membangun karakter yang baik di era society 5.0.

Abstract

Isyraqi or in philosophical language illuminationism is a thought developed by Suhrawardi Al Maqtul by combining the teachings of Sufism and philosophy. Epistemologically, Islamic thought was born as a reaction or alternative to the weaknesses that occurred in previous philosophy, especially Aristotelian paripathetics. There are two main teachings in Isyraqi philosophy, namely gradations of essence and self-awareness. From these two teachings, a third teaching or theory was born, namely the Mythical Realm. The israqi philosophical view regarding methods of gaining knowledge emphasizes the importance of enlightenment or "ishraq" in understanding reality. Therefore, the aim of the research is to explain how the epistemology of science in the view of Islamic philosophy in gaining knowledge. This article was written using a qualitative library research approach, namely by examining reading sources that are relevant to the research in question, as well as library research using previous research findings related to the philosophy of science. The results of this research found that Isyraqi philosophy views science as more than just rational knowledge or empirical knowledge. Knowledge is often associated with divine light or spiritual enlightenment that guides individuals towards a deep understanding of reality. Knowledge is seen as the result of spiritual experience and intuitive insight that exceeds the limits of reason. Knowledge in Isyraqi philosophy helps individuals understand the nature of existence and their relationship to a higher reality and knowledge comes from two main sources: intuition and spiritual experience.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out the extent of Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih's contribution in developing science through Islamic education in Turkey, It is reviewed from a historical aspect related to the situation and conditions of education in Turkey during the reign of Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih which is then described explicitly. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, while the data collection process was carried out using the library research. The results of this study indicate that the contribution of Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih in developing science through Islamic education in Turkey can be seen from the efforts to develop academies and schools, Such as the use of the Ayashofiyah and Zayrek mosques as the first Islamic education center in Constantinople (Istanbul, Turkey). then he developed Darul Funun which is now the forerunner of Istanbul University. Apart from that, Muhammad Al-Fatih also built several educational institutions including Miftah school, Kirkha school, Ellili school, Sahn-I school, Altmish school. Hasiye-I Tecrid school, Zeyrek school, Tetimme school, Otuzlu school, Haric Ibtidayah school, Darul hadis school, Darul shifa school, Eyup school, Mektep school.

Abstract

Truth, as a multidimensional concept, can be understood through various perspectives: philosophy, science, and Islam. Philosophy views truth through theories such as correspondence, coherence, and pragmatism, each offering a distinct epistemological framework for understanding reality. Science, with its scientific method, conceptualizes truth through empirical observation that can be verified. Meanwhile, in Islam, truth is regarded as divine revelation, absolute, and serves as a guiding principle for human life. Though differing in methodology, these three perspectives complement one another in forming a comprehensive understanding of the nature of truth. In the context of integrative Islamic education, there is a need to integrate religious knowledge and general knowledge into a comprehensive tauhid-based system. This study aims to explore the relevance of these three perspectives of truth in the development of integrative Islamic education. The method used is a qualitative approach with library research, gathering data from primary sources discussing the nature of truth, as well as secondary sources such as scholarly articles and previous research. The data are analyzed using content analysis to draw valid and objective conclusions. The findings show that the integration of philosophy, science, and Islam is highly relevant in creating a holistic education curriculum, producing a generation that is not only intellectually proficient but also balanced in moral and spiritual dimensions.
