Abstract

Penelitiam ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media animasi berbasis STEAM terhadap hasil belajar materi IPA pencemaran lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Tondano. Penelitian merupakan quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain pre-test post-test control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa VII SMP Negeri 6 Tondano. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 14 siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-test sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan post-test setelah diberikan perlakuan.Hasil yang diperoleh berupa nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 78,43 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 70,35. Setelah diuji secara statistik dengan uji-t, diperoleh hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol thitung =2,30 > ttabel = 1,70. Dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, pada taraf signifikansi = 0,05. Dimana rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media animasi berbasis STEAM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media animasi berbasis STEAM berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi pencemaran lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Tondano.Dimana rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media animasi berbasis STEAM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media animasi berbasis STEAM berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi pencemaran lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Tondano. Dimana rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media animasi berbasis STEAM lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media animasi berbasis STEAM berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi pencemaran lingkungan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Tondano. Abstract

This research aims to develop teachinf LKPD media on respiratory system material for class VIII junior high school in science subjects. The aim of this research is to develop student worksheets using a suitable project based learning model. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE development model following the research stages according to Dick and Carry, namely (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation.This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 8 Satap Tondano. This research instrument used a questionnaire consisting of a material expert questionnaire, a media expert questionnaire and a questionnaire for product trials (small groups). Based on the material expert questionnaire assessment of the developed LKPD, the assessment results were 78.33% and the media expert assessment was 93.75% in the very good category and suitable for use in the field. Then a small group trial consisting of 7 students at SMP Negeri 8 Satap Tondano obtained a result of 82.96%, so it can be concluded that the Student Worksheet product with the Project Based Learning model is suitable for use in the science learning process for junior high school students with system material human breathing.

Abstract

The problem in learning Biology is the lack of attention and concentration of students in participating in the teaching and learning process on excretion system material. The learning outcomes of students whose proportion of arrests is only 60% 70% do not reach the predetermined minimum criteria. The use of learning media is still limited to power point so that students are less active. The inactivity of these students was because power point was not able to display three-dimensional images that could clarify excretory system material. So we need learning media in the form of videos. The purpose of this study is to develop learning video media by utilizing STEAM-based learning videos on excretion system material at SMA Negeri 1 Dumoga Timur. The method used is interactive multimedia development research as a learning medium. The results of the Assessment of Content/Material Experts have a proportion of the level of desire for Biological Learning Video Development products of 72%; and presented the results of the Learning Media Expert's Assessment of the level of biological learning video development product offerings, namely 80%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of learning using virtual laboratories on students' critical thinking skills on wave materials. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Tondano, Academic Year 2023-2024. This study uses a Quasi Experiment consisting of 2 classes, namely the Experiment class with 15 students and the control class with 16 students. The results of this study showed that there was a difference in the results of the critical thinking ability of the experimental class that was treated using virtual laboratory-assisted learning media and the control class using conventional methods. This difference can be seen from the average results of the post-test critical thinking ability of the experimental class that has been given learning using the virtual laboratory is 70.67 while the pre-test of the control class that uses conventional learning is 45.63. This is also evident from the results of the t-test calculation which produced a value of .
