Abstract

Learning strategies and learning models will continue to be updated in every era. Adjust to the character of the students. This study has a specific purpose, namely to determine whether there is an effect of the ARCS Attention, Relevance, Confidance, and Satisfaction learning model on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN Sidokare 1 Sidoarjo. This study uses a Pre-Experimental Design type One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study was class V at SDN Sidokare 1 for the academic year 2020/2021 with 20 students. The instrument used in measuring students' interest in learning is a questionnaire. This study uses descriptive statistics and inferential statistics in testing the data with t-test and eta-squared to test the research hypothesis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' moral reasoning and parenting applied by parents in growing students' moral reasoning at Leminggir State Elementary School. This research is a qualitative research with a case study research design. The subjects in this study were the fifth grade students of the Leminggir State Elementary School. Data collection was taken through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) The moral reasoning of fifth grade students at Leminggir State Elementary School shows at level II (Conventional Morality) namely in the first stage: Child orientation or a good person. (2) The parenting pattern of parents in growing children's moral reasoning is by fostering obedience to religious moral teachings that are accustomed to daily life with religious moral values ​​such as discipline, honesty, and not being arrogant that have been applied to have an impact on children's lives such as and children's words are more orderly, children can distinguish between good and bad even if only a few actions.

Abstract

This study explores the role of congregational prayer in preventing bullying in schools. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed with the Miles and Huberman interactive method. The results show that congregational prayer helps build character and internalize Islamic values, which serve as a strategy to prevent bullying. Key findings highlight several strategies: (1) fostering a positive and tolerant environment, (2) instilling Islamic character values, (3) intensive supervision, (4) student involvement, (5) enhancing self-awareness and empathy, (6) applying positive approaches to negative behavior, (7) providing real-life examples, (8) reinforcing anti-bullying commitments, (9) encouraging student role models, and (10) integrating Islamic values into daily school life. These efforts collectively create a supportive environment that reduces bullying incidents and promotes positive student behavior.
