Abstract

Early childhood education is a fundamental stage in shaping children's cognitive, social, emotional, and motor development. However, learning practices in many early childhood institutions still rely on conventional methods that make children passive and less engaged. This community service program was implemented at PAUD Alamanda in Padamaju Village with a focus on introducing color concepts through play-based learning strategies. The objective of this program was to enhance the quality of science learning that is more interactive, enjoyable, and developmentally appropriate, while also strengthening teachers’ capacity in designing innovative learning strategies. The method applied was Participatory Action Research, conducted in several stages including observation and coordination, teacher training, implementation of play activities with children, and reflection and evaluation. The results revealed that children became more enthusiastic, successfully recognized primary and secondary colors, and demonstrated improvements in fine motor skills, creativity, and social interaction. Teachers also gained new insights into the application of more varied and innovative teaching methods. Overall, this program successfully bridged the gap between early childhood education theories emphasizing play-based learning and classroom practices, and contributed positively to the improvement of early childhood education quality.

Abstract

Introduction: The proliferation of dakwah fashion content on social media, driven by influencers, has created a cultural paradox where Islamic values intersect with consumerism. While this phenomenon is assumed to influence purchasing decisions, its actual impact on individuals who are religiously educated remains empirically under-researched. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media usage intensity and dakwah fashion influencers on the consumption behavior of female Islamic Education (PAI) students in Indonesia. Methods: A quantitative approach was employed, using a total sampling method (census) to involve 50 active female students from the PAI program at STIT Al-Azami Cianjur. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression, including classical assumption tests. Results: The statistical analysis yielded a counterintuitive yet significant outcome. The findings indicate that neither the intensity of social media usage nor the influence of dakwah fashion influencers had a statistically significant effect, either partially or simultaneously, on the students' consumptive behavior (p > 0.05). The model’s coefficient of determination (R-Square) was also extremely low, confirming a weak explanatory power. Conclusion and suggestion: This study concludes that female PAI students exhibit a form of "critical immunity" to the commercial persuasion embedded in dakwah fashion content. It is argued that their formal religious education fosters a critical religious literacy, enabling them to separate aesthetic appreciation from consumptive action. These findings challenge the generalized assumption of influencer power and underscore the necessity of segmenting Muslim consumers not just by piety, but by their level of critical religious education. Future qualitative research is recommended to explore the cognitive mechanisms behind this immunity. Abstract

This study examines parental responsibilities in early childhood education from the perspective of QS. At-Tahrim Verse 6 and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and their implementation at Bunda Karawang Preschool. Parents are positioned as the primary educators responsible for fostering morals and child development from an early age. QS. At-Tahrim Verse 6 emphasizes the obligation of parents to protect themselves and their families from misguidance through proper education, while the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) reinforces the concept of parental leadership, which carries the trust of their families. These values serve as an important foundation for the implementation of early childhood education oriented towards character and spirituality formation. This study uses a qualitative approach in the form of mini-research through in-depth interviews, light observation, and documentation review. The research focused on patterns of parental involvement in children's religious education, forms of collaboration between home and school, and teacher strategies in internalizing Islamic values through habituation activities at Bunda Karawang Early Childhood Education (PAUD). Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques to obtain a comprehensive picture of educational practices based on the teachings of the Quran and Hadith. The results indicate that parents have a normative awareness of the importance of spiritual responsibility for their children's education, but their implementation remains varied and inconsistent within the home environment. Bunda Karawang PAUD strives to strengthen this through religious habituation, such as daily prayer, simple etiquette, and Islamic social behavior. The main challenges lie in parents' limited time, differences in religious understanding, and a lack of continuity between home and school. This research emphasizes the need for ongoing synergy between parents and PAUD institutions to ensure the effective implementation of the values of QS At-Tahrim verse 6 and the Hadith in developing early childhood character. These findings contribute to strengthening the Islamic values-based family education model as the basis for care and learning in early childhood.
