Abstract

The tourism sector is the sector that has most felt the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic. Travel restrictions and crowds issued by the Indonesian government during the early 2020 pandemic are still being carried out. Several tourist destinations/areas try to maintain their sustainability with various efforts and stimuli to increase tourist visits, one of which is the Pulo Geulis Tourism Village/Thematic Village which is famous for its mural paintings. The Pulo Geulis area represents cultural diversity as well as a very strong tolerance since ancient times. The existence of this area can be a strong magnet for the development of leisure tourism as well as to support business tourism activities (MICE). The management of the Pulo Geulis Tourism Village is carried out in a collaborative manner that actively involves educational institutions, corporations and also tourism communities/groups such as tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis) as well as internal community organizations in the area. During the pandemic, the area structuring activities that have been carried out by several stakeholders must gradually experience delays. Initiation to restart environmental management activities begins with reforestation activities in the area. This study will explore forms of collaboration and partnership (partnership) and the role of each stakeholder in environmental management activities in the Pulo Geulis Tourism Village during the Covid 19 Pandemic. The method used in this research is a case study of environmental management activities involving local governments, institutions education, company and community/society. The output of this research is the mapping of roles and forms of collaboration of relevant stakeholders (such as technical/ non technical support, knowledge sharing, community empowerment/ engagement, networking dan local community knowledge) involved in environmental management activities in the Pulo Geulis Tourism Village.

Abstract

This paper discusses how using Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) affects the financial well-being of Generation Z in Indonesia. This comes at a time when digital financial services are rapidly growing and young consumers are spending more. The study aims to create a framework that explains the connection between PayLater usage, impulsive buying, financial literacy, and financial well-being. It uses a conceptual and explanatory method, including a thorough review of recent studies on fintech behavior, behavioral finance, and digital consumption trends. The findings show that using PayLater can lead to more impulsive buying. This is due to deferred payment options, the convenience of digital transactions, and strong online promotions. These factors may harm financial well-being by increasing stress, leading to high digital debt, weak spending habits, and reduced saving ability. However, financial literacy is seen as a protective factor. It can help lessen the negative impact of PayLater by promoting smarter financial choices and better money management among Generation Z. This paper adds to the understanding of fintech and behavioral finance in the context of Indonesia’s digital economy.

Abstract

This study analyses the dynamics of the Price Competitiveness Indicator (PCI) and Openness Indicator (OI) in driving Bandung City's Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) during the 2019-2023 period. A quantitative descriptive method with trend analysis was used to map the changing patterns of these three variables. The results show that PCI has a strong positive correlation with PAD, where a sharp decline in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic was followed by a significant recovery through 2023. In contrast, the contribution of OI to PAD was relatively small and weak, although it showed an increasing trend post-pandemic. The study's conclusion indicates that price competitiveness is the main short-term driver of PAD, while openness is more strategic for long-term growth. The policy implication is the need for a balance between price stabilization strategies and enhancing destination openness.

Abstract

Financial literacy is a fundamental necessity that everyone should possess to avoid financial issues. The Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) is endeavoring to expand its financial literacy campaign program aimed at educating and enhancing the financial literacy of the community, with the current primary target being Housewives. Efforts supporting the Financial Services Authority's program to achieve this goal include socialization through the organization of the talk show event "Beranda (Belajar Antar Bunda)". To achieve this objective, the approach involves organizing the talk show event and conducting research using observation methods and questionnaires among the participants of the talk show event. The results of this research indicate that the "Beranda" talk show event was successfully conducted, as it provided benefits in financial management and significantly increased knowledge and awareness of financial literacy among the participants of the "Beranda" talk show event.
