Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in the employee training and recruitment process at Dicoding Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness, challenges, and opportunities of using AR in improving training interactivity and supporting the recruitment process of digital talents. The approach used was qualitative with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and analysis of Dicoding's internal documents. The results showed that the implementation of AR in training increased the interactivity and engagement of participants, and helped in the development of practical skills. However, there were technical challenges related to AR devices and difficulties in integrating the technology with training materials. On the recruitment side, AR provided a more realistic simulation experience for prospective employees, which improved the effectiveness of their practical skills assessment. This research suggests further development of AR technology in Dicoding and other companies as a solution to improve efficiency and effectiveness in training and recruitment.

Abstract

Abstract: Nature-based tourism has distinctive risk characteristics due to direct interactions between tourists and the natural environment. Danum Bahandang Natural Tourism Site is a nature tourism destination that potentially poses health and safety risks to visitors if not managed systematically. This study aims to analyze potential hazards and the level of tourist health and safety risks at the Danum Bahandang Natural Tourism Site. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. Data were collected through field observations, interviews, documentation, and a Google Form questionnaire involving 14 respondents. The results indicate that potential hazards originate from road access conditions, river characteristics, natural environmental elements, and limited safety facilities. Risk assessment shows varying levels of risk, ranging from low to high, influenced by environmental conditions and tourist activities. This study concludes that the HIRARC method is effective in identifying and mapping health and safety risks in nature-based tourism destinations, contributing to risk management practices in sustainable tourism development. Keyword: Risk Management, Tourist Safety, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, And Risk Control (HIRARC) Abstrak: Wisata alam memiliki karakteristik risiko yang khas akibat interaksi langsung antara wisatawan dan lingkungan alami. Abstract

Abstract: A2 Collection is a home-based industry engaged in the production of bags made from woven rattan combined with leather or synthetic materials in Palangka Raya City. In its operational activities, the company still encounters challenges in controlling rattan raw material inventory due to an inefficient ordering system, which leads to excess inventory and increased storage costs. This study aims to determine the optimal order quantity of rattan raw materials, identify the appropriate reorder point, and calculate the total inventory costs incurred by the company. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is employed in this research, including the analysis of optimal order quantity, safety stock, reorder point, and total inventory costs. The results indicate that the optimal order quantity of rattan raw materials is 1,363 sheets with an ordering frequency of five times per year. Reordering is carried out when inventory reaches 21 sheets with a safety stock of 4 sheets, while the total inventory cost amounts to Rp1,363,249 per year. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of the EOQ method effectively reduces inventory costs and improves the efficiency of raw material inventory management at A2 Collection.
