Abstract

The regulatory changes introduced by the Omnibus Law (Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja) have significantly impacted Human Resource Management (HRM) practices in Indonesia, particularly in terms of work flexibility and employee productivity. This study examines the influence of these regulatory changes on work flexibility and employee productivity at ABC Company, a firm based in North Sumatra. Utilizing a quantitative approach, this research applies regression analysis within two distinct structural models. The sample comprises employees and managers of ABC Company, totaling 200 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using statistical software. The results indicate a positive and significant impact of regulatory changes on work flexibility and employee productivity. These findings suggest that the Omnibus Law has initiated strategic shifts in HRM at ABC Company. Specifically, the results highlight the need for more adaptive and innovative HRM strategies to address the challenges of flexibility and productivity in a dynamic work environment. Moreover, this study provides empirical evidence of the significant impact of regulatory changes on HRM practices, particularly regarding work flexibility and employee productivity. The findings underscore the importance of adapting HRM strategies in response to regulatory changes, offering valuable insights for other companies undergoing similar transitions in workforce management. This study contributes to the broader understanding of how legislative changes can influence HRM practices and provides a foundation for future research on adaptive HRM strategies in evolving regulatory landscapes.

Abstract

Based on the results of the discussion in data processing according to field data, the results of the discussion are as follows: The number of street light poles is 100 rods per trip and one hundred street lights. The distance between the poles is 50 meters and the height of the pole is 7 meters and the LED lights are 90 watts so they don't match the standard of street light lighting. The installation must comply with the provisions for installing aerial cables in PUIL 2000 TC (Twisset cable), the designation for aerial cables that are familiar in the field. (in PUIL various aerial cables NFY, NFAY, NF2X, NFA2X, etc.) On TC cables for identification: On TC cables there is a line / strip one is used to mark phase = N, On TC cables there is no line / strip used to mark neutral = N Nominal current on each panel is 12, 37 amperes and the total use of lighting on the Sutomo-Merdeka road is 18,000 watts. The total budget costs are; total material price + tax + profit = IDR 1,515,164,000.- + IDR 174,243,860.- + IDR 303,032,000.-, = IDR 1,992,440,660.-

Abstract

The availability of electric power is an obligation at this time, because the economic and social activities of the people of a region continue to increase. Simalungun Regency is an area in the middle of the island of Sumatra. Simalungun Regency's electricity is currently quite good. On the other hand, the island of Simalungun Regency has a lot of potential from various sectors, especially tourism, especially the Lake Toba area. Both of these require business developers and the government to maintain the continuity of the supply of electrical energy. Problems regarding electricity will arise if there is an imbalance between the electrical energy produced and what is requested by the customer. In order for this problem to be overcome, a strategy is needed, namely forecasting the demand for electrical energy within a certain period of time so that the distribution of electrical energy becomes efficient. Based on data from PT PLN (Persero) for the North Sumatra Region, Parapat City Area, Simalungun Regency, total electricity consumption in 2017 has reached 22,311,374 kWh. By using the econometric method that takes into account the influence of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), capable capacity, electrification ratio, it can be known the amount of electricity consumption in the coming year. Based on the results of the calculation of the electricity load forecasting in 2022, the total consumption of electrical energy has reached 46,149,759.6069 KWh which is an increase of around 106.84% from 2017 which comes from four types of customers, namely households, commercial, public and industrial. Abstract

The need for electrical energy at Simalungun City Hotel is very high, especially to support all hospitality activities and activities. Therefore, if the electricity goes out, all activities at Simalungun City Hotel will be disrupted. For this reason, it is necessary to have other energy reserves that can replace electricity from PLN when there is a blackout. This energy reserve is obtained from the Generator Set installed at Simalungun City Hotel. In use, the Generator Set (Genset) needs to be maintained and cared for regularly to minimize damage, extend service life and so on. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the generator set maintenance procedures at Simalungun City Hotel had been properly stated in the Genset maintenance SOP at Simalungun City Hotel. In addition, the level of generator fuel use at Simalungun City Hotel during the study period was 300 liters, where the average hourly use of fuel was 30 liters. So that the level of Genset fuel usage at Simalungun City Hotel is included in the very efficient category when compared to the tables for Genset usage efficiency in general.

Abstract

This study examines the role of village head leadership in the delivery of public services in villages within the Siwalungun Regency, North Sumatra. Utilizing a qualitative approach and a case study design, the research explores the dynamic and multifaceted responsibilities of village heads, including their influence on public administration, healthcare, education, and infrastructure development. The findings reveal that effective leadership by village heads significantly enhances the quality of public services and increases community satisfaction. Village heads who demonstrate proactive and responsive leadership, act as facilitators and mediators, and initiate programs such as “Healthy Village” can address public needs efficiently. However, village heads face numerous challenges, including limited resources, both in terms of budget and human resources, as well as inadequate infrastructure. Social and political dynamics further complicate their leadership roles, often requiring them to mediate conflicting interests and navigate political pressures. Despite these challenges, village heads who adopt adaptive and innovative strategies, and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, are more successful in overcoming these obstacles. This study underscores the crucial role of village head leadership in improving public service delivery and fostering community development. The study recommends capacity-building initiatives for village heads through training and mentoring, and the formulation of policies that support their leadership in enhancing public services and community welfare. The insights gained from this study contribute to better governance at the village level and highlight the importance of strong leadership for sustainable and equitable development.
