Abstract

The availability of electric power is an obligation at this time, because the economic and social activities of the people of a region continue to increase. Simalungun Regency is an area in the middle of the island of Sumatra. Simalungun Regency's electricity is currently quite good. On the other hand, the island of Simalungun Regency has a lot of potential from various sectors, especially tourism, especially the Lake Toba area. Both of these require business developers and the government to maintain the continuity of the supply of electrical energy. Problems regarding electricity will arise if there is an imbalance between the electrical energy produced and what is requested by the customer. In order for this problem to be overcome, a strategy is needed, namely forecasting the demand for electrical energy within a certain period of time so that the distribution of electrical energy becomes efficient. Based on data from PT PLN (Persero) for the North Sumatra Region, Parapat City Area, Simalungun Regency, total electricity consumption in 2017 has reached 22,311,374 kWh. By using the econometric method that takes into account the influence of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), capable capacity, electrification ratio, it can be known the amount of electricity consumption in the coming year. Based on the results of the calculation of the electricity load forecasting in 2022, the total consumption of electrical energy has reached 46,149,759.6069 KWh which is an increase of around 106.84% from 2017 which comes from four types of customers, namely households, commercial, public and industrial. Abstract

The need for electrical energy at Simalungun City Hotel is very high, especially to support all hospitality activities and activities. Therefore, if the electricity goes out, all activities at Simalungun City Hotel will be disrupted. For this reason, it is necessary to have other energy reserves that can replace electricity from PLN when there is a blackout. This energy reserve is obtained from the Generator Set installed at Simalungun City Hotel. In use, the Generator Set (Genset) needs to be maintained and cared for regularly to minimize damage, extend service life and so on. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the generator set maintenance procedures at Simalungun City Hotel had been properly stated in the Genset maintenance SOP at Simalungun City Hotel. In addition, the level of generator fuel use at Simalungun City Hotel during the study period was 300 liters, where the average hourly use of fuel was 30 liters. So that the level of Genset fuel usage at Simalungun City Hotel is included in the very efficient category when compared to the tables for Genset usage efficiency in general.

Abstract

This study examines the role of village head leadership in the delivery of public services in villages within the Siwalungun Regency, North Sumatra. Utilizing a qualitative approach and a case study design, the research explores the dynamic and multifaceted responsibilities of village heads, including their influence on public administration, healthcare, education, and infrastructure development. The findings reveal that effective leadership by village heads significantly enhances the quality of public services and increases community satisfaction. Village heads who demonstrate proactive and responsive leadership, act as facilitators and mediators, and initiate programs such as “Healthy Village” can address public needs efficiently. However, village heads face numerous challenges, including limited resources, both in terms of budget and human resources, as well as inadequate infrastructure. Social and political dynamics further complicate their leadership roles, often requiring them to mediate conflicting interests and navigate political pressures. Despite these challenges, village heads who adopt adaptive and innovative strategies, and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, are more successful in overcoming these obstacles. This study underscores the crucial role of village head leadership in improving public service delivery and fostering community development. The study recommends capacity-building initiatives for village heads through training and mentoring, and the formulation of policies that support their leadership in enhancing public services and community welfare. The insights gained from this study contribute to better governance at the village level and highlight the importance of strong leadership for sustainable and equitable development.

Laju Bersama Furniture and how much influence it has. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with several tests, namely reliability analysis , classical assumption deviation test and linear regression . Based on the regression results of the primary data processed using SPSS 20, the multiple linear regression equation is obtained as follows: Y = 16.243 + 0.171 X 1 + 0.420 X 2. Partially, organizational culture variable (X 1 ) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) at CV. Maju Bersama Furniture. This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, as evidenced by the t count > t table (2.498 > 1.978). While the work ability variable (X 2 ) has a significant influence on employee performance (Y) at CV. Laju Bersama Furniture. This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, as evidenced by the t count > t table (5.381 > 1.978). Simultaneously, organizational culture variables (X 1 ) and work ability (X 2 ) have a significant influence on employee performance (Y) at CV. Laju Bersama Furniture. This means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted, as evidenced by the calculated F value > F table (18.753 > 3.06). Organizational culture variables (X 1 ) and work ability (X 2 ) are able to contribute to the influence of employee performance variables (Y) by 22.1% while the remaining 77.9% are influenced by other variables not examined in this study. From the conclusions above, the authors suggest that employees and leaders should further improve the organizational culture within the internal company so that it becomes a corporate culture and characteristic.

Abstract

The political dynamics of regional head elections in Indonesia often intersect with government management practices, creating challenges and opportunities for effective governance. This study aims to explore how government management adapts to and is influenced by the political landscape during regional elections, particularly in terms of decision-making, resource allocation, and public service delivery. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with government officials, election committee members, and local political figures, complemented by document analysis of election regulations and policies. The findings reveal that political pressures significantly shape government management strategies, often leading to compromises in bureaucratic efficiency to meet electoral demands. Furthermore, the study highlights the role of political actors in influencing government priorities and resource distribution, emphasizing the need for institutional safeguards to maintain neutrality and professionalism in public administration. The results suggest that improving the transparency of government processes during election periods could mitigate political interference and enhance governance outcomes.
