Abstract

Integral is material that is difficult to understand for class XII SMA students. The long completion procedure saturates students and takes a long time. The solution to this problem is by applying the Fash Method learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the integral fash method learning design in understanding mathematical concepts. The research method is descriptive research. The results of the research show that the fash method can motivate students to solve problems correctly and quickly.

Abstract

From the research results, there is data that the use of computers in learning is still limited to the use of powerpoint. Mathematics teachers still face difficulties in making learning media and teaching materials. The solution offered is to provide GeoGebra application training to mathematics teachers to assist them in the process of learning mathematics. The purpose of this activity is to increase teacher and student understanding of the role of mathematics learning media and increase the knowledge and skills of teachers and students about good and explorative virtual learning media (mathlet). The method that will be carried out in this activity is through several stages, namely direct observation, interviews, presentations, and question and answer. The result of this activity is that teachers can improve the quality of the learning process in accordance with the current digital era. and knowledge gained in training, teachers are more creative and innovative in creating learning processes, teachers have understanding and knowledge of virtual learning media, teachers can use the GeoGebra application to create virtual learning media, teachers can create visual media, teaching materials, and assessment instruments relating to algebra and geometry.

Abstract

From the research results, there are data indicating that students' learning abilities can be further enhanced by introducing smart games and integrating the best recommended approach to improve student achievement in various mathematical topics is the use of technology in the teaching and learning process. Methods The data mining approach can be further enhanced to generate knowledge and provide intelligent assistance to students. Real and larger data sets can be simulated to analyze the behavior of the recommended data mining approach (causar). The purpose of this study to see is to see the importance of understanding the concept of Geogebra for learning Mathematics. The result of this research is that GeoGebra enhances lessons and activity design has the advantage to inspire students towards their learning and hence to improve their academic achievement GeoGebra has been found to be an important tool in teaching and learning mathematics in secondary and higher education.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana mutu lembar kerja para peserta didik dengan model pendidikan matematika realistik Indonesia (PMRI), (2) Bagaimana hasil pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik dengan menggunakan model PMRI terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang telah dikembangkan. Model pengembangan 4-D digunakan pada pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tahapan diantaranya define, design, develope dan disseminate. Adapun subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu para siswa kelas VIII-C SMP AL MANAR. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba I dan II diperoleh hasil: (1) Validitas pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) dinyatakan valid, kepraktisan lembar kerja peserta didik berdasarkan model PMRI sudah memenuhi persyaratan praktis jika dilihat dari: (1) Validator menyatakan lembar kerja peserta didik berdasarkan model PMRI yang dikembangkan bisa digunakan dengan sedikit perbaikan; (2) Lembar kerja peserta didik telah terlaksana dengan capaian dikategorikan baik. Lembar kerja para peserta didik berdasarkan model PMRI sudah memenuhi persyaratan efektif. Persyaratan efektif dilihat dari: (1) Capaian belajar siswa dalam bentuk klasikal telah tuntas saat uji coba II; (2) aktivitas siswa sepanjang kegiatan belajar sesuai ketetapan persyaratan toleransi waktu yang ideal; (3) siswa memiliki respon positif terhadap lembar kerja peserta didik dan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Hasil Pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik dengan menggunakan model PMRI terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan materi SPLDV yaitu melalui uji coba I hasil nilai rata-rata 69,05 dan melalui uji coba II hasil nilai rata-rata 72,84.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa menyelesaikan soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kelas X SMK Swasta Muhammad Yaasiin Sei Lepan Tahun Pembelajaran 2021-2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 26 orang siswa kelas X SMK Swasta Muhammad Yaasiin Sei Lepan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang siswa yang diambil secara acak menurut tingkat kemampuan masing-masing. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan wawancara. Setiap hasil pekerjaan subjek penelitian dianalisis untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan menggunakan metode analisis kesalahan Newman kemudian dilakukan wawancara untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor dari dalam siswa penyebab melakukan kesalahan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Terdapat kesalahan memahami soal yang dilakukan subjek penelitian dengan persentase 16,66%, terdapat kesalahan transformasi yang dilakukan subjek penelitian dengan persentase 20,83%. terdapat kesalahan keterampilan proses dengan persentase 25%, terdapat kesalahan menuliskan jawaban akhir dengan persentase 37.5%

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not blended learning models increase students' capacity to learn independently. For this study, we used a convenience sample of eighth graders from SMP Karya Utama Dolok Masihul for the 2022-2023 school year as both the population and the sample. Questions and questionnaires were used to collect information for this study. The average score on the pretest was 38.4, the average score on the posttest was 61.1, and the average score on the questionnaire was 70.4. Based on the study's findings, it is known that students at SMP Karya Utama Dolok Masihul using a blended learning model on student learning independence obtained a mean score of 61.11. This means that students' learning outcomes are still classified as relatively low. Reasons for this include students' own lack of motivation to learn and the inability to participate in hands-on learning activities due to a lack of access to mobile devices. The study's author concluded that schools could do better to incorporate technological advances into their teaching and learning of mathematics. As a means of ensuring that both educators and students remain abreast of evolving technological capabilities, and to pique students' curiosity and motivate them to learn more on their own accord.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the GeoGebra-assisted inquiry learning model on the mastery of the concept of geometric transformation of grade IX students at Taman Siswa Galang Junior High School. The design of the Pretest-Posttest Control Group is used in quasi-experimental methodologies (pseudo-experiments). Class IX-B as an experimental group and obtained a GeoGebra-assisted inquiry learning model, while class IX-C as a control group and received traditional method treatment, with the number of students at Taman Siswa Galang Junior High School as many as 75 people. Careful observation, testing, and documentation form the basis of the data we collect. Significant differences in students' ability to understand mathematical concepts were found between the experimental and control groups, as determined by the research findings. The average posttest value for the experimental group was 86.20 and for the control group was 77.10. Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted at a significance level = 5% based on the test results obtained by calculating the > ttabel (3,431 > 2,011), so that it can be concluded that the average ability to understand mathematical concepts of experimental class students who were treated with a GeoGebra-assisted inquiry learning model was better than the average ability of control class students who were treated with conventional methods.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-postest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian berjumlah 392 orang siswa kelas XI MAS Al Washliyah 12 Perbaungan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang, dan kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 36 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan terhadap hasil postes kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan penggunaan teknik analisis varians (ANOVA), dengan perbantuan program microsoft excel. Setelah dilakukan pengujian analisis, diperoleh pernyataan bahwa Fhitung > Ftabel, yaitu: FA (149,95) > Ftabel (3,92); FB (145,23) > Ftabel (3,92); dan FAB (75,09) > Ftabel (3,92). Hal tersebut secara keseluruhan memberi pengertian bahwa, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa, dan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap pemecahan masalah matematika siswa.

Abstract

Pendidikan di sekolah kebanyakan memberikan pelajaran kepada siswa dengan berbagai bahan ajar yang harus dihafal, pendidikan tidak diarahkan untuk mengembangkan dan membangun karakter serta potensi yang dimiliki. Dengan kata lain, proses pendidikan tidak diarahkan untuk membentuk manusia kreatif dan inovatif. Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan dan mengikutsertakan peran teknologi di dalamnya akan lebih menarik, efektif, dan efisien. Maka dari itu perlu adanya pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi para pendidik dalam hal penguasaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) guna mendukung terciptanya pembelajaran yang inovatif sehingga dalam melakukan kegiatan belajar mengajar akan lebih menarik dan mudah dimengerti oleh siswa dan sesuai dengan tuntutan abad 21. Program PKM ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Medan Amplas, dengan sasaran para guru di SMP Al Washliyah 8 Medan. Dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan guru dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Kepada mitra akan diberikan pelatihan pembelajaran berbasis TIK, yang didalamnya mencakup pula pengintegrasian TIK pada rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Selain itu dilakukan pendampingan kepada mitra, agar upaya melaksanakan pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, dan menyenangkan dapat terwujud dan berjalan dengan baik. Pembelajaran berbasis TIK yang dikenalkan, dapat membantu guru dalam mengaplikasikan berbagai macam variasi media pembelajaran yang menarik, inovatif dan interaktif bagi siswa, sehingga siswa mampu mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang ditargetkan.

Abstract

Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) part of the ANBK examination which is held every year in junior high schools. The purpose of this service is to improve students' skills in solving AKM questions through tryouts. Community service activities were held on June 23 2022 at Bina Satria Mulia Middle School. The target of this activity is class VIII B students with a total of 25 students. The questions given are HOTS questions for junior high school students. This service target has been achieved. Students know the forms of AKM questions, 100% of students take part in the tryout and discussion of AKM questions.
