Abstract

Economic growth is an important determinant of individual income levels and the growth rate of a particular region, measured through GDP. The NPF ratio serves as a metric to assess credit quality or the bank's competence in managing credit risk. DPK includes funds obtained from the public in the form of investment products. The methods used in this article include a qualitative approach involving a literature study or library-based research. The purpose of this investigation involves analyzing the prevailing theories through a comparative examination of the literature pertaining to the research results. The literature used in this study includes research findings and reviews derived from nationally recognized scholarly articles in accordance with financial management. All articles used in this study were sourced from the electronic data search engines ResearchGate and Google Scholar. Through the analysis of the determinants of Islamic banking (NPF and DPK), a significant correlation was identified. The impact of NPF on economic growth manifests in its capacity to increase borrowers' ability to repay loans, while simultaneously incurring an escalation of loan risk. Similarly, the effect of Third Party Funds on economic growth is illustrated by the important role that economic growth plays in the capitalization of Islamic banks, consequently exerting a major influence on the size of third party funds attracted by Islamic banks. Based on the aforementioned findings, it is highly recommended that researchers proceed to conduct a comprehensive literature review to explore additional independent variables (such as Return on Assets and Capital Adequacy Ratio) that impact economic growth during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of economic growth, fluctuations in local revenue, general allocation funds, and special allocation funds on capital expenditures. The sample consists of 17 observations from South Sumatra’s Regency/City governments (13 Regencies and 4 Municipalities) during 2018–2020. Secondary data were obtained from the Republic of Indonesia Financial Audit Agency (BPK RI). Data on Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) and Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budgets (APBD) were sourced from Regional Government Financial Reports (LKPD). Quantitative analysis techniques were employed. The results show that fluctuations in Regional Original Income and Special Allocation Funds significantly influence Capital Expenditures. However, Economic Growth and General Allocation Fund fluctuations do not impact Capital Expenditures. Managerially, positive economic growth can increase regional income, enabling higher capital expenditure. Fluctuations in General Allocation Funds may affect budget stability, requiring strategies to manage uncertainties.

Abstract

Currently the economy in Indonesia is developing rapidly. Indonesia's economic growth in 2021 will also improve. The goal of investors investing in a company is to obtain returns. Then, there are several factors that influence stock returns, including company size, debt policy and profitability. This research aims to examine the influence of Company Size, Debt Policy and Profitability on Stock Returns with Dividend Policy as a moderating variable in non-financial companies included in the LQ45 stock index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2017-2022 period. The sample for this company was 18 companies using the purposive sampling method. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression techniques and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) testing using the SPSS version 29.0 application. The research results show that company size has a significant effect on stock returns. Debt policy and profitability have no significant effect on stock returns. Dividend policy can moderate company size on stock returns. However, dividend policy does not moderate debt policy and profitability on stock returns.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the time management strategies employed by students at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah and to identify the factors that influence their ability to manage time. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study type. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data was analyzed using a thematic analysis method, which consisted of three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study indicate that students at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah still face difficulties in managing their time efficiently. Factors such as procrastination, inaccurate time estimation, and lack of priority are the main obstacles in student time management. This study also found that well-defined goals, internal motivation, and commitment to self-improvement are significant supporting factors in student time management. By applying effective time management strategies and understanding the factors that influence them, students at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah can improve their learning productivity and achieve their expected academic goals.

Abstract

Digital transformation in Indonesia has driven significant growth in the e-commerce sector, making it a key driver of business competitiveness in local and global markets. This study aims to analyze the role of e-commerce in increasing business competitiveness in Indonesia using descriptive-qualitative methods. Data was obtained through literature studies, secondary data analysis from reports from the Ministry of Trade, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and related scientific publications. The results of the study show that the MSME sector dominates the business structure in Indonesia with the majority of businesses having an annual turnover of less than 2 billion rupiah. However, there is an opportunity to increase the business scale of MSMEs into medium and large enterprises through capacity building programs and access to financing. The use of e-commerce has great potential to increase business competitiveness in Indonesia, but stronger collaboration between the government and the private sector is needed to create an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the extent to which Korea's cultural diplomacy has positive implications for improving the country's economy. This research examines cultural diplomacy using the drama Queen of Tears as the main example of the Korean Wave. The Korean Wave, also called Hallyu, emerged as South Korea's soft power that substantially improved its relations with various countries while encouraging economic growth. In 2004, the influence of Hallyu contributed to an increase in South Korea's GDP by 0.2 percent to reach 1.87 billion US dollars and in 2019 it increased to 12.3 billion US dollars. The Korean Wave has become a model of effective cultural diplomacy. A survey conducted in 2023 by the South Korean government showed that Indonesia ranked highest among 26 countries with a consumption level of Korean cultural content of 35.5 percent. This research uses qualitative research methods. The research results show that the use of culture that has strong support from the government, quality production and effective marketing strategies can contribute positively to improving bilateral relations, the tourism sector and the economy of a country.
