Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the extent to which Korea's cultural diplomacy has positive implications for improving the country's economy. This research examines cultural diplomacy using the drama Queen of Tears as the main example of the Korean Wave. The Korean Wave, also called Hallyu, emerged as South Korea's soft power that substantially improved its relations with various countries while encouraging economic growth. In 2004, the influence of Hallyu contributed to an increase in South Korea's GDP by 0.2 percent to reach 1.87 billion US dollars and in 2019 it increased to 12.3 billion US dollars. The Korean Wave has become a model of effective cultural diplomacy. A survey conducted in 2023 by the South Korean government showed that Indonesia ranked highest among 26 countries with a consumption level of Korean cultural content of 35.5 percent. This research uses qualitative research methods. The research results show that the use of culture that has strong support from the government, quality production and effective marketing strategies can contribute positively to improving bilateral relations, the tourism sector and the economy of a country.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to describe the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model in an effort to improve student learning outcomes which was carried out in class IV of SD Negeri 238 Palembang on the content of the Indonesian language subject, material on transitive sentences and class IV intrasynthetic sentences. This type of research uses classroom action research (PTK) with data collection techniques consisting of interviews, tests and observations. Data collection procedures are carried out through tests at the end of each cycle and observations during learning. The average learning outcomes of students in cycle I, cycle II, cycle III have increased. In cycle I the average student score was 67.16 with learning completeness 63%. In cycle II the average student score was 76.04 with learning completeness 77%. And in cycle III the average student score was 80.03 with learning completeness of 87%. The results of this research show that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve learning outcomes in Indonesian Language Subjects.

Abstract

The research was carried out with the aim of improving student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects. This research includes Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely design, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were 22 class IIA students at SDN 238 Palembang. Research data was obtained using teacher and student observation sheets and student test results, then this data was analyzed using a percentage formula. The research results obtained were (1) teacher activity in cycle I using the Picture and Picture method from 80.35% to 92.8% in cycle II, (2) student activity in cycle I using the Picture and Picture 78 method, 57% to 91% in cycle II and (3) the results of learning Indonesian in cycle I using the Picture and Picture method were 63% to 95.45% in cycle II. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that by implementing the Picture and Picture model, students' learning outcomes can be more active and teachers' abilities can improve and become better.

Abstract

The beauty product business has become increasingly attractive lately. This business has the potential to generate profits in the long term, especially if the target market feels the product is suitable. Beauty products are now spread in various types, with different purposes and levels of use, as well as the many ways that business people use to make their products known to the public. This incident certainly encouraged researchers to conduct research aimed at finding out what influences attract consumers to purchase a product. The variables used are brand ambassador, product quality and price on purchasing interest. Data was obtained from the results of an online questionnaire via Google form to 100 respondents using Scarlett Whitening products in Bekasi. Data analysis used IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 software with quantitative research methods. The research results reveal that brand ambassadors influence purchasing interest, then price also influences purchasing interest, while product quality has no influence on purchasing interest.

Abstract

PT. X is an official distributor company which operates in the field of providing laptop products and providing various kinds of computer hardware and software. The increasing mobility of people and the importance of devices to support their productivity has made the company want to increase PT. X's sales turnover, which is one of the company's goals. However, efforts to increase sales turnover can cause higher levels of employee pressure and decreased work morale. The increasing level of employee pressure and decreasing work morale at PT. X could be a negative impact of the company's efforts to increase sales turnover. Increased stress and decreased morale can become a dangerous cycle for a company. Increasing employee motivation and morale is an important responsibility for the leadership of an organization. A visionary leader needs to create a conducive organizational climate to maintain the morale and work dedication of his team members. The main goal of effective leadership is to inspire and motivate employees. This research uses quantitative methods, the samples in this research are all employees in the IT and Service division of PT. X, totaling 30 people. The research results show that based on the presentation of the results that have been presented, it can be seen that the Fcount value is more than Ftable (3.354) with a significance level of <0.05, so it can be concluded that the motivation and work enthusiasm variables together have an effect on productivity (Fcount 14.101 > Ftable 3.354). Bearti H3 is accepted, motivation and work enthusiasm have a simultaneously positive and significant influence on productivity.

Abstract

Capital structure and profitability are ratios that influence the value of the company. Specifically, the LQ45 Company in the banking sub-sector which is directly controlled by BUMN is an influential company in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the effect of capital structure with the DER ratio and profitability with the ROE ratio on company value with the PBV ratio in LQ45 companies in the banking sub sector. Researchers used quantitative statistical methods and sample determination using a purposive sampling method. The research sample was four companies with a research period of 10 years. The data used in this research is secondary data. Data analysis used the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using the t test, F test and coefficient of determination using SPSS version 26. The findings of this study show that although profitability has a positive and large impact on company value, capital structure also has a negative and significant impact on company value. In addition, the combination of capital structure and profitability has a significant impact on company value.

Abstract

Suku Dinas Sosial is responsible for providing services, supervision, and control (P3S) to solve social problems of people who have physical or mental limitations, so employees must work with high sensitivity and serve wholeheartedly. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work discipline (X_1) and work environment (X_2)on the performance of employees (Y) of Suku Dinas Sosial. In this study, a quantitative approach was used with questionnaire data collection techniques to obtain primary data for employees. The sample is 60 employees using the slovin technique. The results of this study found that work discipline (X_1) had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) with a value of T_hitung4,525 >T_tabel2,002 with a level of significance 0,000 < 0,05. Partially, the work environment variable (X_2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) with a value of T_hitung 4,757 >T_tabel 2,002 with a level of significance 0,000 < 0,05. Simultaneously the variables of work discipline (X_1) and work environment (X_2)have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) with a value of F_hitung47,083 >F_tabel 3,16 with a level of significance 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

Untuk bersaing dan memuaskan pelanggan tentunya suatu merek harus memiliki keunggulan bersaing dibandingkan merek pesaing lainnya serta dapat memenuhi kebutuhan manusia. Citra merek adalah segala sesuatu tentang merek dalam produk itu sendiri yang dipikirkan, dirasakan, dan divisualisasikan dari pelanggan. Dengan mengembangkan merek yang baik akan memungkinkan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dan ingin merekomendasikannya kepada orang lain. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur pengaruh manfaat citra merek (fungsional, sosial, simbolik, pengalaman dan peningkatan penampilan) terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan niat loyalitas pelanggan lipstik Revlon di Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan non-probability sampling; dengan cara convenience sampling khususnya purposive sampling yang ditujukan kepada pelanggan lipstik Revlon sebagai responden terpilih. Sehingga jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) yang didasarkan pada evaluasi ketergantungan antar variabel. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara masing-masing variabel manfaat citra merek. Manfaat citra merek juga menunjukkan pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan niat loyalitas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh positif terhadap niat loyalitas. Semakin tinggi manfaat akan menyebabkan semakin tinggi pula kepuasan pelanggan. Semakin tinggi kepuasan pelanggan akan menyebabkan semakin tinggi pula niat loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

Lidah buaya (Aloe vera L.) diketahui mengandung banyak senyawa kimia alami, seperti antrakuinon, asam amino, acemannan, aloesin, glukomanan yang bertanggungjawab memberikan efek teraupetik yang bermanfaat dalam dunia farmasi. Review ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi terkait aktivitas farmakologi dan perkembangan produk dari lidah buaya dalam bidang farmasi. Pada Review artikel ini data yang disajikan diperoleh dari literatur online berupa jurnal dan artikel ilmiah publikasi lokal maupun internasional dan literatur offline berupa buku dan e-book. Diketahui bahwa lidah buaya memiliki berbagai aktivitas farmakologi yaitu sebagai antiinflamasi, berperan dalam penyembuhan luka, antibakteri, antifungi, antivirus, antioksidan, antikanker, antitumor, antikolesterol, dan antiulcer. Penggunaan lidah buaya dalam produk farmasi juga telah mengalami perkembangan diantaranya yaitu sediaan nano partikel, tablet, suppositoria, gel dan krim.
