Abstract

One of the important factors in the field of human resources is providing compensation and motivation, which are the rights of employees and the company's obligation to support the contributions of workers in order to achieve the goals that have been determined. The purpose of this study was to analyze and examine the effect of compensation on employee performance through work motivation at the PDAM Tirta Baluran office in Situbondo Regency. The population in this study were permanent employees of the PDAM Tirta Baluran office in Situbondo Regency. The sampling method is determined by probability sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that compensation has a significant positive effect on work motivation, compensation has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive significant effect on employee performance, compensation has a significant positive effect on employee performance through work motivation .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital, liquidity, and leverage on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable in energy sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2023 period. The sample used in this study is 6 energy sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 5 years with sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of direct influence hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that working capital has a positive but insignificant effect on firm value, liquidity has a negative but significant effect on firm value, leverage has a negative but significant effect on firm value, profitability positively and insignificantly moderates the effect of liquidity on firm value.

Abstract

Marketing management can be defined as the analysis of planning, implementing and controlling programs designed to create, build and maintain profitable exchanges with target markets to achieve organizational goals. The research objective is to analyze and test the effect of product diversity and service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. The population in this study were consumers of Kedai Babe. The sampling technique was determined by the sample random sampling method. This study's data analysis and hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that product diversity has a negative but insignificant effect on customer satisfaction, service quality has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, product diversity has a significant positive effect on customer loyalty, service quality has a significant positive effect on customer loyalty, customer satisfaction has a positive but insignificant effect on customer loyalty, product diversity has a significant negative effect does not affect customer loyalty through customer satisfaction, service quality has a positive but insignificant effect on consumer loyalty through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of Financial literay on Financial behavior of Student o the Faculty of Economics and Business Abdurahman Saleh Situbondo with Finacial inclusion as an InterveningVariabel. The population in this study were all students of Faculty of Economics and Business. Data analysis and hypothesis testing inthis study used the Structura Equation Model – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 appication show that Financial literacy has a significant effect on Financial inclusion.Financial literacy has a significant effect on Financial behavior. Financial inclusion has a significant effect on Financial behavior. The result of the indirect effect hypothesis test show that Financial literacy on Financial behavior through Financial inclusion hasa significant effect.

Abstract

Banks are companies that operate in the financial services sector, acting as intermediaries between people who need funds and people who have funds. The purpose of this study was to analyze and test the role of interest rates in moderating the effect of Solvency, Loan Deposit Ratio and Non-Performing Loans on Profitability. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study is a Conventional Commercial Bank registered with the Financial Services Authority in 2015-2022. Purposive sampling is the sampling technique in this study. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of hypothesis testing using a statistical application, Smart PLS 3.0, the results showed that Solvency has a significant negative effect on Profitability, Loan Deposit Ratio has a negative but insignificant effect on Profitability, and Non-Performing Loan has a significant negative effect on Profitability. Interest rates negatively but not significantly moderate the effect of Solvency on Profitability. Interest rates insignificantly moderate the effect of Loan Deposit Ratio on Profitability. Interest rates insignificantly moderate the effect of Non-Performing loans on Profitability.

Abstract

The cooperatives are organizations that carry out economic activities within a specific framework, guided by shared principles and ideals. The Cooperatives have a responsibility to their members to run their operations efficiently and competitively. Associate members and the more comprehensive community benefit from the cooperatives’ efforts to improve their financial status because of their essential economic role. To meet the needs of its members as a whole, the cooperatives are engaged in trade and other activities. Cooperatives play an essential role in developing joint ventures with people who have weak economic means. The purpose of this study was to analyze and test the effect of Leadership, Work Discipline and Work Environment on Performance at “APING” Saving and Loan Cooperative in Asembagus Situbondo District with Work Motivation as an Intervening Variable”. This research is quantitative. The population used in this study were 40 employees of the Asembagus “APING” Savings and Loan Cooperative. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. This study’s data analysis and hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation Method - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The direct effect hypothesis test results using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that Leadership, Work discipline and work environment affect work motivation and performance at the “APING” Savings and Loan Cooperative in Asembagus. The indirect effect hypothesis test results show that leadership on performance through work motivation has no significant positive effect. In contrast, work discipline and work environment affect performance through work motivation and have a significant positive effect.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the factors that influence company value in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange with profitability as an intervening variable for the 2019-2021 periods. The population in this study was all 30 food and beverage companies registered on the IDX. The sampling technique in the research used purposive sampling so that 10 data analysis samples were obtained. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Smart PLS 3.0 application. The results of this study indicate that capital structure has a positive but not significant effect on profitability. While Liquidity has a negative but not significant effect on profitability. Capital structure and liquidity have no significant effect on firm value. Profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value. Capital structure and liquidity have no significant effect on company value through profitability.

Abstract

Technological developments The change in business world and the revolution of entrepreneurship have changed because of technological development. Companies now focus not only on profit, but also on appreciation. Technology has facilitated the transformation of small businesses into global businesses. This study aims at is analyzing and testing the effects of Firm size and Growth opportunity on Firm value through Cash holding as an intervening variable in food and beverage companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange year 2018-2021. The population in this study were 21 food and beverages companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the 2018 – 2021 period. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study use Structural Equation – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application shows that Firm size has a negative significant effect on Cash holding, Growth opportunity has a positive but not significant effect on Cash holding, Firm size has a negative but not significant effect on Firm value, Growth opportunity has a negative but not significant effect on Firm value and Cash holding have a negative but not significant effect on the Firm value. Meanwhile, the results of the indirect effect hypothesis test show the firm size variable has a positive but not significant effect on Firm value through Cash holding and Growth opportunity have a negative but not significant effect on Firm value through Cash holding.

Abstract

Taxes have an important role in supporting development in Indonesia. Tax revenue compared to other sources of revenue is one of the largest sources of revenue for the state. The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the effect of capital intensity on tax avoidance with financial distress as an intervening variable. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the Textile and Garment Sub-Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2020 period. The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that capital intensity has no significant effect on financial distress, capital intensity has no significant effect on tax avoidance, financial distress has a significant effect on tax avoidance, and capital intensity has no significant effect on tax avoidance. Tax avoidance through financial distress has a positive but not significant effect.

Abstract

Marketing is an activity carried out by companies to market or promote goods or services. The purpose of this study was to analyze and test the effect of price, service quality, and purchasing decisions on consumer satisfaction at Waroeng JMK (Jembatan Merah Klatakan). The sampling technique in this study used a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application showed that price had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, service quality had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, price had a positive effect but not significant on consumer satisfaction, service quality had a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction, purchasing decisions had a positive effect but not significant on consumer satisfaction. The results of the indirect effect hypothesis test showed that the price variable had a positive effect but not significant on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions , service quality had a positive effect but not significant on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions.
