Abstract

The Relationship between Three Constructs of Employee Attitudes towards Organizational Change. This research examines three constructs that represent employee attitudes towards organizational change; commitment to change, readiness for change, and openness to change. This research analyzed the influence of readiness for change and openness to change on employee commitment to change in public sector organization in West Sumatra. It would help the public organization to understand their employee attitudes during change. This research is a quantitative research. Respondents are 100 employees in public sector organization in West Sumatra Province. Data was collected using questionnaire. The result shows both independent variables; openness to change and readiness to change have positive and significant effect on commitment to change. Employee commitment to changes in this research is influenced by the readiness for change and openness to change. These results show that employees in public organization in West Sumatra Province felt that if they would benefit from change, then they would do what was needed to make the change successful. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kapasitas UMKM mengenai prinsip-prinsip circular economy, mengurangi limbah, memproduksi limbah menjadi produk baru dan menciptakan peluang bisnis baru. Data Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, Kabupaten Agam menghasilkan sampah 58.559 ton per tahun dimana baru 24,81% dapat dikelola. Untuk meningkatkan jumlah sampah yang dapat dikelola oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Agam dan Masyarakat melalui UMKM sebagai salah satu sektor yang memproduksi sampah, maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan mengenai pengelolaan sampah guna tercapainya tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDG’s goal) pada tujuan konsumsi dan produksi yang bertanggung jawab dalam bentuk pengenalan konsep circular economy kepada pelaku UMKM. Permasalahan utama dalam kegiatan circular economy ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman UMKM mengenai konsep ekonomi sirkular dan pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan, serta terbatasnya pelatihan pemanfaatan limbah sebagai bahan baku produk olahan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui edukasi, sosialisasi, dan pelatihan pengolahan sampah dengan target capaian: (1) peningkatan pemahaman minimal 50% pada 80% peserta melalui pre-test dan post-test; (2) penerapan konsep circular economy oleh 30% peserta dalam tiga bulan setelah pelatihan; dan (3) terciptanya minimal lima produk olahan sampah oleh UMKM. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberdayakan UMKM agar lebih berkelanjutan, inovatif, dan ramah lingkungan, serta menjadi agen perubahan dalam mewujudkan ekonomi sirkular di tingkat lokal maupun nasional

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress on burnout in nurses, considering the mediating role of resilience. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 82 inpatient nurses as respondents. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM–PLS) method through the SmartPLS 4 application. The research results indicate that work stress has a positive and significant effect on burnout, and a negative and significant effect on resilience. Resiliencealso has a significant negative impact on burnout and is proven to significantly mediate the relationship between work stress and burnout. This finding confirms that resilience is an important factor in reducing the risk of burnout in nurses facing high work pressure. Therefore, increasing nurses' resilience is an important strategy in overcoming burnout at RSUD dr. Achmad Darwis.

Abstract

Dr. M. Djamil Central General Hospital Padang is a type-A teaching hospital and the main referral center in Central Sumatra, where nurses especially married women face high work demands and rotating shifts, creating challenges in balancing professional and family roles. This study aims to examine the effect of work-family conflict on the psychological well-being of female nurses, with work-life balance as a mediating variable. The core issue addressed is the imbalance between occupational responsibilities and family obligations that may negatively impact psychological well-being. A quantitative approach was used, with a survey conducted on 104 married female nurses with children. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM–PLS) method via the SmartPLS 4 application. The results show that work-family conflict negatively affects both psychological well-being and work-life balance, while work-life balance positively and significantly affects psychological well-being. Additionally, work-life balance significantly mediates the relationship between work-family conflict and psychological well-being. These findings emphasize the importance of balancing work and personal life to maintain nurses’ mental health. Therefore, organizational support such as flexible work policies and psychological wellness programs is essential to improve both professional performance and personal well-being among nurses.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of artificial intelligence in learning on students' self-management, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. The background of this research lies in the low ability of students to manage themselves effectively, which impacts delays in completing their studies. This is a causal research study. The population and sample consisted of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Negeri Padang. A total of 100 students were selected using cluster random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert Scale. The analysis method employed was SEM-PLS using SmartPLS version 4.1.1 software. The results of the data analysis indicate that: (1) artificial intelligence in learning has a positive and significant effect on the self-management of FEB UNP students; (2) artificial intelligence in learning has a positive and significant effect on the self-efficacy of FEB UNP students; (3) self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on the self-management of FEB UNP students; and (4) self-efficacy mediates the effect of artificial intelligence on the self-management of FEB UNP students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh peer support terhadap career adaptability dengan career decision self-efficacy (CDSE) sebagai variabel mediasi pada mahasiswa Generasi Z di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kausal. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner Google Form kepada 120 mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Manajemen yang berusia 20–24 tahun dan sedang berada dalam fase persiapan memasuki dunia kerja. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peer support berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap career adaptability. Selain itu, peer support juga memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap career decision self-efficacy. Lebih lanjut, career decision self-efficacy terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap career adaptability. Temuan penting lainnya adalah career decision self-efficacy berperan secara signifikan sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan antara peer support dan career adaptability, sehingga dukungan teman sebaya mampu menguatkan adaptasi karier mahasiswa melalui peningkatan keyakinan diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya lingkungan sosial yang suportif sebagai strategi penguatan psikologis bagi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi transisi akademik menuju dunia kerja. Secara teoretis, temuan ini memperkaya kajian pengembangan karier dengan menjelaskan mekanisme psikologis bagaimana dukungan sosial sebaya bekerja melalui peningkatan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karier untuk membentuk adaptabilitas karier mahasiswa.
