The priority for solving problems through this training is misconceptions about writing the substance of teaching modules, due to teachers' lack of understanding of the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum concepts into teaching modules, and teachers' lack of understanding in writing substance in teaching modules. So, training activities are designed to overcome these two problems.  The training method implements retraining. Training equivalent to 22 JP, the activities are (1) refreshing material on the relationship between the Merdeka Curriculum and teaching modules as well as teaching module writing simulations carried out in 5 JP; (2) independent practice in creating teaching modules with the given format, and mentoring in 14 JP; (3) reviewing the results of writing teaching module with a focus on the substance of 3 JP.  The results of the analysis of teaching modules written by training participants show that misconceptions in writing the substance of teaching modules can be minimized and understanding increased. Participants who actively participate in training can write substance teaching modules correctly. Abstract

This study examines the transformation of musical techniques that occurs in students who take part in big band training, from classroom learning to performance on stage. Big band as a jazz ensemble popular from the Swing Era of 1935 to the late 1940s offers a unique opportunity for students' musical development. This study observed changes in students' technical skills, understanding of dynamics, improvisation and confidence through a qualitative approach by observing 30 high school students during a six-month training program. Results showed significant improvements in the ability to read scores, instrument playing techniques, and aesthetic understanding of big band music. The main challenge identified was the adaptation of marching band playing habits to the big band context, especially in terms of playing dynamics. A training model combining regular practice, music appreciation, and professional guidance proved effective in transforming students' musicality skills from beginner level to being able to perform on stage with appropriate big band aesthetic standards.

Abstract

Entering the 21st century era, education is required to not only develop cognitive aspects, but also the character and life skills of students. One important ability that needs to be cultivated is empathy as the foundation of healthy and humanist social interaction. This article examines the role of dance appreciation in shaping students' empathy through a literature review approach. Dance appreciation is seen not only as an activity of observing performances, but also as a process of appreciating the meaning, culture, and emotions implied in dance movements. Through this process, learners not only train aesthetic sensitivity, but also develop critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity (4C) skills. In addition, dance appreciation can be a safe space for self-reflection, development of social awareness, and the formation of a more empathetic character. Thus, dance has a strategic contribution in answering the challenges of 21st century education, especially in building a cultured young generation and noble personality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Curriculum through Amantyajana art performance activities as project-based learning at Presidential High School. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study examines in depth the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating art activities developed collaboratively between teachers, students, and school parties. The results show that this art performance is not only a forum for students' artistic expression, but also a medium for character building, strengthening mutual cooperation values, and cross-subject integration in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile. Amantyajana activities are designed thematically and contextually, involving students in all stages of production, from theme exploration, rehearsals, to public performances. Despite facing obstacles such as limited time, human resources, and infrastructure, this activity is still able to encourage meaningful, creative, and adaptive learning. Evaluation is conducted holistically through process assessment, performance, and student engagement in teamwork. The art performance proved to be a superior practice in actualizing the Merdeka Curriculum, which focuses on the meaningfulness of learning, active student participation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Abstract

One of the innovations arising from technological developments is using hypermedia in learning.  Therefore, this study aims to identify learning needs in the development of hypermedia-based Proyek IPAS learning materials in Class X vocational schools. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), the development model used in this study combines the Dick and Carey and Lee & Owens models, which focus on the development of hypermedia-based Proyek IPAS learning materials, both of which were chosen because they complement each other in the development of technology-based learning materials, especially in multimedia learning such as hypermedia. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaire interviews, and learning outcomes tests. The results showed that students aged 15-16 can use technological devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones, but are more often used for entertainment than learning. Observations revealed the limitations of available learning materials, so interactive and appropriate hypermedia-based Proyek IPAS learning materials are needed. This research provides a basis for developing innovative and relevant hypermedia-based Proyek IPAS learning materials to support project-based learning in vocational high schools.

The application of meaningful learning is the emphasis of this class action research project with 32 respondents from class XI, in the application of meaningful Education using the principles of an advance organizer, progressive differentiation, integrative reconciliation, and consolidation in each learning activity. This study is classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Data collection consisted of two research cycles: student activity data and student learning outcomes data. Student activity data was collected using observation sheets, while student achievement data was collected using the test method in each cycle. The criteria for grouping activities in each learning cycle use the ideal average and standard deviation. Sources of data include observations, questionnaires, and documentation for learning outcomes. The finding showed that meaningful learning model activities effectively increased student learning motivation. This can be seen from the increase in the average score of students on the test results; 67,15 in cycle 1 and 77,04 in cycle 2. The increase was also seen based on the results of the observations, which showed positive responses from students. From the results of the questionnaire, it is known that the average student perception score is 32.281 or 96%. This means that students positively respond to this learning model's application.
