Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui hubungan sifat morfologi tanamanterhadap produksinya berdasarkan skuen ketinggian tempat di KabupatenTapanuli Selatan. Lokasi yang menjadi kajian penelitian ini berdasarkan skuentinggi tempat di Daerah Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Sample tanaman diambil diDesa Situmba dan Desa Panabari Kecamatan Tano Tombangan Angkola denganketinggian 0 – 400 m dpl, Desa Pasar Sempurna, Desa Gunungtua, Desa AekNabara Kecamatan Marancar dengan ketinggian 400 – 800 m dpl dan DesaSialaman Julu, Desa Sialaman Jae Kecamatan Sipirok dengan ketinggian > 800 mdpl. Pengamatan terhadap perkembangan morfologi tanaman aren di lapangandilakukan terhadap parameter Tinggi Tanaman, Umur Tanamam, DiameterBatang, Umur Sadapan, Tingkatan Malai, dan Jumlah Klorofil a dan b. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang paling berpengaruh terhadap produksiproduksi nira adalah Tinggi Tanaman dan Umur tanaman (37,2 %), sedangkanuntuk produksi gula yang paling berpengaruh adalah tinggi tanaman (29,2 %).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman aksesi aren yang tersebar di Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan dan mengelompokkan populasi seleksi untuk mendapatkan produksi yang tinggi. Delapan puluh aksesi aren populasi alam asal empat kecamatan telah di identifikasi menurut IPGRI (International Plant Genetic Resources Institute, 1995) dan dianalisis. Hasil menunjukkan terbentuknya 4 cluster yang disimpulkan bahwa cluster 1 merupakan kelompok aksesi aren dengan karakter fenotip yang sesuai untuk memproduksi buah dari mayang bunga betina. Sedangkan cluster 3 merupakan kelompok aksesi aren dengan karakter fenotip yang sesuai untuk memproduksi nira (bahan baku gula aren) dari mayang bunga jantan.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Aek Nabara Village, Marancar District, South Tapanuli Regency. This study aims to determine the production of sap and palm sugar production based on differences in companion plants. Plant samples were taken from rubber companion plants, salak companion plants, cinnamon companion plants, durian companion plants, and cocoa companion plants. The highest sap production was found in sugar palm plants with durian companion plants, while the lowest sap production was found in sugar palm plants with rubber companion plants. The highest sugar production was found in palm plants with rubber companion plants, while the lowest sugar production was found in sugar palm plants with cinnamon companion plants.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of giving Vesicle Arbuscular Mycorrhizae (VAM) on the vegetative growth of white corn (Zea mays L), distance treatment of plant and interaction both of them on the vegetative growth of white corn. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) on factorial with two-factor and three replications. The first factor is the treatment of giving VAM (A) with various doses consisting of A1 (10 g/plot), A2 (20 g/plot) and A3 (30 g/plot), while the second factor is the treatment of plant spacing (J) with various sizes consisting of J1 (50 cm x 15 cm), J2 (50 cm x 25 cm) and J3 (50 cm x 35 cm). Data collection starts from planting to flowering, namely plant height, number of leaves, flowering time. Data analysis was carried out through analysis of variance and further test of DMRT at 95% confidence level. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the fungal treatment only had a significant effect on plant height and cob length, but did not significantly affect the number of leaves, flowering time. The plant spacing treatment only had a significant effect on plant height but had no significant effect on the number of leaves and flowering time. The interaction of the fungus treatment and plant spacing treatment showed that there was an interaction effect of the two treatments on plant height but did not significantly affect the number of leaves, flowering time. The treatment interaction A3J3 had the highest plant size of 114.55 cm.
