Abstract

Cervical cancer patients stage IIIB receive their first chemotherapy treatment. One of the effects of chemotherapy is that it can cause stress. Stress, as a psychological effect, worsens many diseases and pathological conditions and weakens the immune system. This can reduce the cytotoxic activity of T lymphocyte cells and thus increase cell proliferation. The combination of murottal and dhikr therapy can be considered a comprehensive approach to dealing with stress. After listening to murottal, a person may feel more connected to the verses of the Qur'an. Dhikr therapy, as a form of repetition and reflection on the greatness of Allah, can be the next step in strengthening spiritual bonds and relieving stress. Purpose: This study aims to determine the stress level of cervical cancer patients in the first chemotherapy program with murottal and dhikr therapy at Dr. Moewardi Hospital. Method: This type of research is quantitative research with the research design used is Quasy Experiment one group pre test-post test design. The total population of the study was 52 patients. The sample in this study was cervical cancer patients at Dr. Moewardi Hospital, a total of 52 patients using the total sampling technique. This study was conducted in the tulip rooms 4 and 5 of Dr. Moewardi Hospital. Moewardi. on March 25, 2024 – May 13, 2024. Stress assessment indicators using the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). Murottal therapy intervention with a duration of 17 minutes 40 seconds and dhikr with a duration of 2 minutes. Result: Data analysis using parametric testing in the form of a Paired T-Test with a confidence level of 95%. The pretest stress level of murottal and dhikr administration with a mean of 17.17 and a posttest stress level of 13.77. Conclusions: The results of the Paired T-Test were significant at 0.000 <0.05 indicating that there was an effect of murottal and dhikr therapy after the first chemotherapy.

Abstract

Belum adanya sosialisasi peraturan baru taekwondo di lingkungan Komunitas Masyarakat Tridarma, maka perlu dilakukan pengabdian ini bagi kelompok masyarakat tersebut. Diharapkan hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini sebagai cara yang efektif dan strategi agar pemahaman Komunitas masyarakat Tridarma terhadap perubahan peraturan baru dalam taekwondo menjadi lebih baik. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan 3 tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Dari hasil perbedaan pretest dan post test tingkat pemahaman komunitas masyarakat tridarma terjadi peningkatan. Pada tahapan evaluasi, tim pengabdi melakukan evaluasi setelah melakukan post test, tim pengabdi melihat peningkatan data berdasarkan hasil pretest dan post test, serta dalam refleksi dibagikan angket kepuasan pengguna dengan tingkat kepuasan 81%.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide health guidance to the Tlogo Village Community, Tuntang District, Semarang Regency by providing assistance with children's growth and development (posyandu), providing knowledge dissemination for teenagers who are still lacking in promiscuity and providing aerobic exercise training guidance to the community. This activity is carried out because many parents do not pay enough attention to their children's growth and development, so posyandu, youth care, health care and low levels of exercise have the potential to reduce the level of public health. Assistance from the PKM University of PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) Team uses lecture and demonstration methods. The expected output is increased knowledge of parents in paying attention to children's growth and development, increased knowledge of teenagers in free association, and community skills among teenagers. There is also a lot of community participation in aerobic exercise. The result of this service is increased community knowledge and skills regarding health. This good habit needs to be improved in the future with better programs.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the physical condition of athletes participating in the Regional Student Sports Training Program (PPLOPD) for athletics in Salatiga City in 2025. The research employed a descriptive quantitative design involving 50 athletes, consisting of male and female participants, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through physical condition tests covering eight components of physical fitness, including speed, endurance, strength, flexibility, and coordination, as well as medical fitness tests conducted by sports medicine professionals. The physical condition test results were converted into total scores ranging from 0 to 80 points and classified into six categories: Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor, Very Poor, and Extremely Poor based on the standards of the Indonesian Athletics Federation (FAI). The results showed that 46% of athletes were in the Good and Very Good categories, 26% were in the Fair category, and 28% were below the Fair category. Although all athletes were declared medically fit to train, variations in physical condition indicated the need for individualized and systematic training programs. This study highlights the importance of periodic physical condition evaluation as a foundation for designing safe, effective, and performance-oriented training programs for student athletes.

Abstract

Dislokasi merupakan kondisi tulang lengan atas mengalami pergeseran atau terlepas keluar dari sendi bahu normalnya. Dislokasi terjadi akibat kerusakan pada sistem otot dan rangka tubuh yang diakibatkan oleh kegiatan olahraga seperti bulutangkis. Penanganan dislokasi dapat dilakukan dengan cara metode RICE (Rest,Ice Compression, Elevation) yang dapat dilakukan oleh siapa saja. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengeruh pelatihan metode RICE terhadap tingkat pengertahuan dan keterampilan penangan dislokasi pada pemain bulutangkis Desa Delanggu. Metode penelitan ini menggunakan pre-exsperimental design dengan rancangan pre and posttest without control. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling yaitu 30 responden. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan lembar kuesioner metode RICE dan lembar observasi metode RICE. Uji analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon. Hasil Analisa univariat berdasarkan Tingkat pengetahuan sebelum diberikan pelatihan metode RICE dapat diketahui jumlah terbanyak responden berada pada tingkat pengetahuan sebanyak 19 responden (63,3%), sedangkan sesudah diberikan pelatihan metode RICE dapat diketahui jumlah terbanyak responden berada pada tingkat pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 20 responden (66,7%). Berdasarkan Tingkat keterampilan sebelum diberikan pelatihan metode RICE dapat diketahui jumlah terbanyak responden berada pada tingkat keterampilan sebanyak 18 responden (60%), sedangkan sesudah diberikan pelatihan metode RICE dapat diketahui jumlah terbanyak responden berada pada tingkat keterampilan cukup sebanyak 23 responden (76,7%). Hasil analisis berdasarkan Uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai p value 0,000 dimana nilai p value tersebut < 0,05. Kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan hasil p value 0,000 Kata Kunci : Pelatihan Metode RICE, Tingkat Pengetahuan, Keterampilan, Penanganan Dislokasi   ABSTRACT Dislocation management can be effectively implemented through the RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) method, which is accessible to individuals without specialized medical training. This research aimed to assess the impact of instructional training on the participants' knowledge and practical skills in applying the RICE method for dislocation treatment among badminton players in Delanggu Village. This investigation employed a pre-experimental research design, utilizing pre- and post-intervention assessments without a control group. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The findings from the univariate analysis, conducted before implementing the RICE method training, indicated that the majority of respondents, totaling 19 individuals (63.3%), possessed a certain baseline level of knowledge. Following the administration of the RICE method training, the distribution shifted, with the highest number of respondents, 20 individuals (66.7%), attaining sufficient knowledge. Before undergoing training in the RICE method, respondents' most prevalent skill level was 18, comprising 60% of the sample population. Following the training, the predominant skill level shifted to a sufficient level, with 23 respondents (76.7%) exhibiting this competency. Statistical analysis utilizing the Wilcoxon signed-rank test yielded a p-value of 0.000<0.05. Consequently, the RICE method training has a statistically significant impact on the respondents' skill levels

Abstract

Background: Although it may seem simple, soccer has complex characteristics, which is why many children are attracted to training at soccer schools. Agility is a crucial aspect of the game, as it enables a player to move quickly, evade opponents, and control the ball effectively. At the Pemalang Regency Bina Talenta Soccer School (SSB), agility training is not conducted optimally and has not been implemented systematically with effective methods. Therefore, exercises such as the five-cone and ladder drills need to be implemented to improve player agility more effectively. Objectives: This study aims to examine the impact of five-cone and ladder drill training on the agility of U15 football athletes. Methods: This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a quasi-experimental approach. The experimental design was a pretest-posttest in two groups. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 20 players participating in a four-week training program. The instrument to measure agility was the Illinois Agility Test, with a validity level of r = 0.87. The measurement data were analyzed using a difference test with the help of SPSS software version 29.0. Results: The five-cone drill and the ladder drill had a significant effect on agility, as both exercises had a significance value of <0.05. The five-cone drill was more effective than the ladder drill. This was due to the difference in scores between the five-cone drill, which increased by 1.04, and the ladder drill, which increased by 0.84. Conclusions: Both training methods are effective in improving agility and can be integrated into school-based football training programs. Furthermore, the results of implementing these methods can enhance player performance and provide a valuable source of new knowledge for future researchers on agility in SSB players.

Abstract

Permasalahan guru penjas SMK di Kabupaten Semarang pada tahun 2024 adalah kesulitan dalam meyusun modul ajar kurikulum merdeka dan tidak mengikuti program sekolah penggerak sehingga profil pelajar Pancasila menjadi sulit tercapai. Tujuan dari pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah MGMP PJOK SMK Kabupaten Semarang dapat mengetahui serta terampil dalam menyusun modul ajar kurikulum merdeka berbasis adventure education. Sehingga, dalam menghadapi kurikulum dimasa yang akan datang kesiapan guru PJOK harus siap dalam menyusun perangkat ajar yang inovatif. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan Participatory Action Research dengan melakukan workshop dalam penyusunan modul ajar berbasis adventure education. Tahapan pelaksanaan disusun sebagai berikut: (1) Tahap analisis kebutuhan mitra; (2) Tahap persiapan; (3) Tahap Pelaksanaan; (4) Tahap evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Berdasarkan hasil pendampingan pembuatan modul ajar berbasis adventure education yang dilaksanakan di MGMP PJOK SMK Kabupaten Semarang maka didapat kesimpulan para peserta pengabdian mampu menyusun perangkat ajar kurikulum merdeka berbasis adventure education. Para peserta dapat menyusun dengan sistematis serta mengetahui dasar-dasar dari penyusunan perangkat ajar tersebut. Peserta antusias dalam mengikuti pendampingan penyusunan perangkat ajar dalam hal ini adalah modul ajar berbasis adventure education yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dan membentuk karakter.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the physical condition profile of the SSB Pandawa Salatiga U-13 football players in 2026. This research uses a cross-sectional quantitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of 20 players from SSB Pandawa Salatiga who were 13 years old. The data collection method consists of examination and measurement of physical condition, which includes strength, flexibility, agility, speed, and endurance. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, which presented the data in the form of percentages and categorization based on T-scores. The research findings indicate that most players fall into the moderate category, with 9 players (45%) in this category, 8 players (40%) in the less category, 2 players (10%) in the good category, and 1 player (5%) in the very poor category. The average VO?Max value of the players was 45.54 with a standard deviation of 4.00, a maximum value of 51.25, and a minimum value of 34.44. The results show that the physical condition of the SSB Pandawa Salatiga U-13 players in 2026 is generally in the moderate category. Therefore, to improve the players' performance, more systematic and sustainable physical training is needed.

Abstract

Research Background: Volleyball requires good lower limb power for jumping during smashes and blocks. However, school training programs tend to focus more on basic techniques than physical conditioning, so leg power is not optimally developed. Research Objective: This study aims to examine and compare the effects of core stability and calf raise training on lower limb power. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design with two groups (pretest-posttest). The sample consisted of 30 male students aged 13–15 years, divided into two groups. The training program was conducted for 4 weeks (3 sessions per week). Lower limb power was measured using the vertical jump test. Data were analyzed using paired and independent sample t-tests (α = 0.05). Results: Both groups showed significant improvement. The core stability group improved by 2.2, while the calf raise group improved by 4.47. However, there was no significant difference between the two groups (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Both core stability and calf raise training are effective in improving lower limb power and can be used as alternative training methods in school volleyball extracurricular programs.
