Abstract

PT XYZ is one of the strategic industries owned by BUMN that produces the main defense equipment for Indonesia's defense system, especially in the maritime sector. In practice, the process of utilizing and managing assets at PT XYZ is in the Asset & Infrastructure Optimization Department which has various operational steps for asset management starting from the asset mapping process to utilizing these assets. This research aims to analyze and optimize business processes in asset management in the Asset & Infrastructure Optimization Department. The research method used is observation and interviews with related parties as well as Business Process Modeling and Notation analysis. The purpose and objective is to provide recommendations in optimizing business processes and increasing efficiency in managing company assets. One of the problems identified was the slow signing and return of agreement letters which caused delays in issuing invoices and payments. Recommendations included creating standard operating procedures, implementing electronic-based contracts and invoices, and utilizing technology for document delivery and storage. Overall, this research aims to improve operational performance and maximize the contribution of PT XYZ's assets to revenue.

Abstract

PT Tirta Investama Pandaan Plant is a manufacturing company focused on mineral drinking water (Bottled Water) production. So as to produce a standards product need to take the role of the machine to help people to do it, in the production process machine performance is still not effectively and efficiently yet, so that need for machines maintenance and performance measurement. One method used to measure the effectiveness of that Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The principles contained in this method are Avaibility, Performance and Quality. From the results of research conducted Contiform machine OEE values obtained 75.62%. Therefore, according JIMP could not be categorized as a Word Class Company. It is necessary to Six Big Losses calculation that includes Equipment Failure Set up and Adjustment Losses, Idle Stopppage Minor Losses, Reduce Speed Defect and Rework Quality and Yield or Losses. Six Big Losses From calculations carried out, there are 2 types of losses are dominant, namely Idle Minor Stopage with a percentage of the value of the Reduce Speed 13:53% and amounted to 29.82%. So do need root cause analysis that includes human factors, machine, material and method with fishbone diagram.

Abstract

To achieve profit, companies usually process raw materials into finished or semi-finished goods. Therefore, in this company, controlling and managing raw materials becomes an important factor influencing the smooth production process to achieve desired goals. Cow's milk is one of the popular agricultural products, and cheese is a dairy product consumed globally. PT Mazaraat Lokanatura Indonesia is a company that produces local Yogyakarta cheese and creamery products. The instability of organic milk quality from local farmers often negatively impacts the production process and the final quality of the company's British Cheddar Cheese products. This instability also affects raw material inventory planning, so the company must be more careful in maintaining the quality and quantity of organic milk stock to ensure optimal production. To address this issue, an analysis of raw milk inventory using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method was conducted. This research began with observations and identification of problems related to raw material inventory management that could affect production efficiency and operational costs. Then, data collection was conducted regarding the demand amount, order time, ordering cost, and milk storage cost. The research results show that the application of EOQ is proven effective in optimizing inventory costs. Using EOQ allows the company to manage the optimal order quantity, significantly reducing total ordering costs by decreasing the order frequency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the causes of defects in Kretek cigarettes at PT. XYZ, and how to minimize defects in Kretek cigarettes using the DMAIC approach at PT. XYZ. Data analysis was performed using the six sigma concept, which includes DMAIC. The research results are (1) the causes of defects or defects consist of 4 factors: humans, methods, materials, and the environment. The human factor is that operators leave the machine during production fatigue and lack concentration. The method factor is not checking raw materials and the lack of instructions. Material factors include raw materials or materials of poor quality with the category of non-sticky glue and dislodged filters, and for environmental factors, there is engine noise and ambient temperature. (2) The results of the analysis of the DPMO Sigma Quality Level and Process Capability values for cigarette stick products with an attribute defect in the form of non-sticky glue produce an average DPMO value of 550716.8432 with a sigma level of 1.38. In contrast, the attribute defect in the form of Dislodged Filters produces an average DPMO value of 234511.2977 with a sigma level of 2.23. These results are categorized as low process capability, so their performance needs to be improved. Thus, recommendations for appropriate corrective actions are given, namely by providing training and training to workers. They offer directions in strengthening SOPs for checking raw materials, improving the quality standards of raw materials received, and equipping workers with equipment such as masks and ear plugs as well as higher concentrations during the production process so that defects can be minimized.

Abstract

Packaging can manufacturers experience a quality problem, namely with product defects / defects in every production that has not reached zero defects, especially in 800 ml crab meat packaging cans which most often experience product defects. Six Sigma can be defined as a methodology that functions for process improvement that aims to minimize defect processes and improve production quality using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analize, Improve, Control) approach. So that it can be analyzed from the known problems to obtain improvement recommendations. From the results of the measurement of the data obtained that for (CTQ) Critical to Quality, the key is based on the pareto diagram, that 85% of the highest defects are in the breaking of welding. From the analysis of the causal diagram, the factors that cause product defects / defects come from machine, human, raw material, and environmental factors. Thus, recommendations can be made for appropriate corrective actions, especially providing training and direction for employees on how to work according to SOPs for checking raw materials, improving the quality standards of raw materials received, and adding appropriate lighting during the production process so that defects / production defects can be minimized.

Abstract

Menjaga ketersediaan bahan baku dalam jumlah tepat penting untuk kelancaran produksi dan pemenuhan permintaan pasar. PT. Murni Mapan Makmur Purwosari, perusahaan manufaktur plastik, menghadapi tantangan akibat fluktuasi permintaan yang menyebabkan kelebihan atau kekurangan stok. Hal ini mengganggu efisiensi produksi dan meningkatkan biaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) untuk mengevaluasi sistem persediaan. EOQ menghitung jumlah dan frekuensi pemesanan paling ekonomis dengan mempertimbangkan biaya pemesanan dan penyimpanan. Hasilnya, metode ini membantu perusahaan memesan bahan baku secara efisien dan mengurangi risiko kekurangan atau kelebihan stok.Kata Kunci:  Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Pengelolaan Persediaan, Ketersediaan Bahan Baku.

Abstract

Penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) dan pengukuran efektivitas mesin dengan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) pada proses budidaya jamur tiram. Mesin steam baglog yang digunakan untuk sterilisasi media tanam sering mengalami masalah seperti pemanasan yang kurang maksimal, konsumsi energi tinggi, dan kerusakan mendadak, yang mengganggu kelancaran produksi. Melalui penerapan TPM dan analisis OEE, efisiensi mesin diharapkan meningkat, waktu henti berkurang, dan kualitas hasil produksi membaik. Data dikumpulkan setiap bulan ntuk mengetahui penyebab utama penurunan efektivitas mesin. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai OEE tertinggi mencapai 90,75% pada bulan April, dengan rata-rata 88,41%. Nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa mesin bekerja cukup efisien, meskipun masih diperlukan perbaikan dalam aspek perawatan. Penerapan strategi ini berpotensi meningkatkan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usaha budidaya jamur tiram.Kata kunci : Total Productive Maintenance (TPM);Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE);mesin steam baglog;budidaya jamur tiram

Abstract

In the weeding process, farmers still use the conventional method of swinging the sickle horizontally over the weed-covered soil repeatedly until the weed stems are cut and flush with the ground. This process can lead to rapid fatigue, especially in the musculoskeletal system or skeletal muscles. When weeding, the average farmer's back bends at a 90-degree angle while repeatedly pulling out weeds. In designing this machine, an anthropometric approach is used to determine the ergonomic design of the weed mower that provides worker comfort. Anthropometry is the study of human body dimensions and their application in design, including physical geometry, mass, strength, and body characteristics such as shape and size. Humans vary in shape, size, height, and weight. The sample size is 23 workers. Based on the research conducted on the weed, the researchers proposed an ergonomic weed-weeding machine design based on an anthropometric approach. The anthropometric measurements obtained are the height of the weed-weeding machine is 120.7 cm, the width range of the weed-weeding machine is 46.8 cm, and the depth range of the weed-weeding machine is 42.0 cm, using the results of the 50th percentile. The design of this weed-weeding machine is expected to have practical implications, including increased comfort and work efficiency for farmers, which in turn can speed up the weeding process and increase rice productivity. This design is also expected to encourage innovation in the field of work system design and ergonomics.

Abstract

Pemilihan supplier merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan operasional suatu usaha, terutama dalam usaha budidaya jamur tiram yang membutuhkan pasokan kumbung balok sebagai media tanam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan supplier kumbung balok terbaik dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Penelitian dilakukan melalui identifikasi lima kriteria utama yang mempengaruhi pemilihan supplier, yaitu: harga, kualitas produk, biaya pengiriman, reputasi perusahaan, dan kapasitas produksi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada pihak terkait. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan AHP dengan bantuan aplikasi expert Choice menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk merupakan kriteria terpenting dengan bobot 0,295, disusul oleh reputasi (0,268), kapasitas produksi (0,165), harga (0,153), dan biaya pengiriman (0,119). Dari tiga alternatif supplier yang dianalisis, Supplier 3 memperoleh nilai bobot global tertinggi sebesar 0,595, sehingga direkomendasikan sebagai supplier prioritas. Nilai konsistensi (CR) sebesar 0,0447 menunjukkan bahwa penilaian yang dilakukan konsisten dan dapat diterima. Dengan demikian, metode AHP terbukti efektif dalam membantu pengambilan keputusan pemilihan supplier secara sistematis dan objektif.
