Packaging Factory have activities in bag production. In order to increase the productivity, the company should manage the activities to increase valued added and decrease several waste. This study was purpose for analyzed the caused problems of waste, and give recommendation for minimizing the waste. The problem solving at the study was using lean manufacturing concept approach. The waste identification began with identification of current state value stream mapping with weighting the waste in order to understand the root of problem within production process. The detail mapping selection was using Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT). Root Cause Analysis was used in order to understanding the root of problem for production process followed by FMEA for understanding the improving priority which has to be done. From the data analysis result, we found that the most dominant waste order is defect, waiting, inventory, excessive transportation.The mapping detail used for analysis process as Process Activity Mapping Supply Chain Response Matrix and Quality Filter Mapping. From the result of study we found the decreasing of production time from 138.4 minute to 119.4 minute. Decreasing lead time process could reach 13,7% comparing before the recovery step.

Performance measurement method, Performance Prism, was used to improve performance measurement method in this furniture company. Until now, performance measurement system in this company haven’t represented overall organizational performance since it only used performance measurement based on individual ability. Performance measurement using Performance Prism method was used because it could reflects the needs and desire of each identified stakeholder within company. This performance measurement is an integrated measurement, encompassing all company aspects (stakeholder) which related with stakeholder satisfaction and stakeholder contribution for the company. Performance measurement in this study also supported by several other methods such as weighting with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine priority scale of each KPI, Scoring System using Objectives Matrix (OMAX) and Traffic Light System to determine total index value of company in corporation level and category of those indices. Results of performance measurement in this company using Performance Prism indicated 79 KPI’s consist of 17 KPIs on Investor perspective, 16 KPI’s on Customer perspective, 16 KPI’s on Employee perspective, 15 KPI’s on Supplier perspective and 15 KPI’s on Regulator perspective. Based on performance measurement calculation using Objective Matrix and Traffic Light System, it obtained total index value 5,8364. This showed that performance of this furniture company still yet to reach desirable performance thus it would need some improvement in this matter.

A paper company produces many kind of papers where notebooks are its main products. The production approach is make to order. At the completion of the production processes indicates delays due to long lead times. Long lead time of production reduces the company's flexibility and speed of response to customers. The company should shorten the lead time. Shortening lead time, the speed customer response will be faster, the productivity will be increasing and utilization of production resources will more effective. This study propose the use of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method to overcome it. VSM will identify wastes that can be eliminated, so the company can reduce production costs, meet customer demand, and also increase the company's revenue and market share. The observation identifies wastes in the HC Folio production processes, such as waiting, transportation and unnecessary inventory. Based on the significant wastes, it proposes some improvements to repair the transportation and waiting wastes. To handle work in process parts, the study recommends to implement of rails and trains. It will reduce production time that decreases from 66,828 hours 49 minutes 48 seconds to 30,938 hour 56 minutes 24 seconds.

Heat source of the heat energy can affected of the temperature distribution and the boiling temperature of the tapering heat pipe located on the evaporator. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of heat source on the temperature distribution and boiling temperature that occur in the tapering heat pipe. In this study, used heat pipe tapered shape of the copper pipe diameter of 10 mm and 20 mm as evaporator as condenser with a length of 200 mm. Tapering heat pipe inside there is a wick mesh screen serves as the axis of the capillary to the return liquid / backflow of fluid from the condenser to the evaporator. The condenser ends mounted a valve to inject the working fluid into the tapering heat pipe. K-type thermocouple is integrated with NI-9211 module and c-DAQ 9271 to measure the temperature distribution along the tapering heat pipe with a heat source of DC power supply for (25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50) Watt. The results showed that there was a difference of temperature distribution and boiling temperature caused by the variations heat source. Temperature of distribution and boiling temperature which tends to increase in value the greater the heat source, so it can be concluded that the heat source has an influence on the temperature distribution and the boiling temperature of the tapering heat pipe with 50 Watt heat source generates temperature distribution and boiling temperature stable.

Produktivitas air bersih untuk minum dan efisiensi dari distilasi air energi surya konvensioal umumnya rendah. Peningkatan produktivitas dan efisiensi distilasi air energi surya konvensional dapat dicapai dengan menaikkan temperatur air masuk. Pada penelitian ini temperatur air masuk distilasi air energi surya dinaikkan dengan cara yang lebih sederhana dari penelitian sebelumnya. Pada penelitian ini temperatur air masuk dinaikkan dengan memanfaatkan panas pengembunan menggunakan kaca ganda. Kaca ganda adalah dua kaca yang disusun sejajar, satu di atas yang lain dengan jarak antara kaca sebesar 2 mm. Kaca bawah merupakan kaca penutup alat distilasi berukuran 1m2. Air masukkan dialirkan diantara kaca bawah dan kaca atas sebelum masuk ke dalam alat distilasi. Selama mengalir diantara kaca, air masukkan menerima energi panas pengembunan sehingga temperaturnya naik. Pada distilasi air energi surya konvensional, energi panas pengembunan merupakan energi yang tidak dimanfatkan dan terbuang ke lingkungan. Cuaca merupakan faktor alam yang sangat berpengaruh pada produktivitas dan efisiensi distilasi air energi surya. Pada cuaca yang cerah energi surya yang diterima alat distilasi air energi surya lebih besar dibandingkan pada cuaca yang berawan atau mendung. Jumlah energi surya yang diterima berpengaruh pada produktivitas dan efisiensi alat distilasi air energi surya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan efek cuaca terhadap produktivitas dan efisiensi distilasi air energi surya dengan kaca ganda. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen pada lima variasi energi surya sebesar 383, 452, 484, 509 dan 596 W/m2. Sebuah distilasi air energi surya konvensional digunakan sebagai pembanding produktivitas dan efisiensi yang dihasilkan distilasi air energi surya kaca ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kinerja distilasi air energi surya dengan kaca ganda lebih baik dibandingkan distilasi air energi surya konvensional. Distilasi air energi surya dengan kaca ganda menghasilkan rata-rata produktivitas sebesar 35,6% dan rata-rata efisiensi sebesar 32,6% lebih baik pada variasi cuaca dengan besar energi surya antara 383 sampai 596 W/m

This paper describes the ratio of levels of combustible species (CO, HC, CO2 and lambda) of a four-cycle otto motor with a six-stroke MUB-2 motor with additional combustion duration and two working steps. The increase in combustion duration aims to re-burn combustible species that have not been completely burned in the first combustion. This study used a 4 stroke motor with a capacity of 125 cc and then modified it into a 6 stroke motorbike with twice the duration of combustion. The observed local atmospheric conditions at a relative humidity of about 76% rH, and the ambient temperature and pressure were around 24 ° C and 101.32kPa, respectively. The implementation of data retrieval with crankshaft rotation at intervals of 600 rpm from 2400 rpm to 7200 rpm.Using an anlyser gas, the MUB-2 six-stroke engine showed 12.36% CO levels, 27.30% HC levels, 30.8 CO2 levels % and 1.7% lower lambda than conventional four-stroke engines. This means that in the 6 stroke MUB-2 motor, the combustion process of the air and fuel mixture is more perfect than the conventional 4 stroke motor.

Dengan diratifikasikan Konvensi PBB tentang hak penyandang disabilitas menjadi Undang-undang no. 19 tahun 2011, pendidikan inklusif bagi penyandang disabilas wajib dilaksanakan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini melakukan studi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan studi mahasiswa difabel dalam system pendidkan inklusif. Faktor-faktor yang diteliti adalah faktor keluarga (hubungan dalam keluarga dan kondisi ekonomi), factor psikhologis (rencana studi dan kepercayaan diri), dan factor akademik (kehadiran, pilihan Program Studi, lama belajar, cara belajar, kendala belajar, dan IPK). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, dengan responden semua mahasiswa difabel dan mahasiswa non-difabel dalam kelas yang sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan dalam faktor keluarga dan psikhologis antara mahasiswa difabel dan non-difabel. Mahasiswa difabel cenderung lebih lama dan teratur, dan prestasi akademik mahasiswa difabel cenderung lebih baik daripada non-difabel.

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui tentang: 1. Legalisasi asset dalam Reforma Agraria di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong; 2. Petani peserta legalisasi asset dalam Reforma Agraria di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong; dan 3. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi legalisasi asset dalam Reforma Agraria di Kabpaten Rejang Lebong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis-normatif. Data yang dikumpulkan, diolah, dan dinalisis sebatas data sekunder, berasal dari dokumen-dokumen, arsip, dan sumber lain yang tersedia di Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Kesimpulan ditarik secara induktif. Hasil penelitian menujukkan antara lain: 1. Objek legalisasi asset dalam Reforma Agraria adalah tanah Negara eks HGU PT. Bumi Mitra Sentosa yang telah diterlantarkan; 2. Peserta legalisasi asset dalam Reforma Agraria adalah petani yang resmi memiliki Kartu Tanda Penduduk Kabupaten Rejang Lebong saja; 3. Legalisasi asset dalam Reforma Agraria menjadikan adanya kepastian hukum dalam pemilikan tanah oleh petani Kabupaten Rejang Lebong.

This research aims to explain the rules of management of lubuk larangan in Kuantan Singingi, and formulate the settlement of fishing disputes at lubuk larangan in Kuantan Singingi. This research is sociological legal research. The research location is the villages where there are lubuk larangan in Kuantan Singingi Regency, namely lubuk larangan in Indarung Muara Lembu Subdistrict, lubuk larangan in Bandar Alai Kari Village, Kuantan Tengah Subdistrict, and lubuk larangan in Lubuk Jambi, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict. Informants in this research include Customary Chiefs in Indarung Muara Lembu Subdistrict, Bandar Alai Kari Village, Central Kuantan Subdistrict, and in Lubuk Jambi, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, as well as the Chairman of the Kuantan Singingi Customary Institution. This research shows that the rules for managing lubuk larangan in Kuantan Singingi from three research locations differ in the way they are managed. Lubuk Larangan in Indarung is managed jointly and controlled by traditional leaders. Settlement of fishing disputes in lubuk larangan in Kuantan Singingi is carried out through a customary process led by the customary leader. If the offenders are traditional leaders, they can be sanctioned twice harder compared to ordinary people.
