Abstract

From this study, the automatic electric oil heater can be used to adjust the temperature value and the automatic electric heater will be able to turn off automatically according to the setpoint temperature value determined through a smartphone device or IoT program. Monitoring can also be done with the app, as well as being able to view temperature values directly through the LCD. This tool is in the form of an electric heater that will be used to heat ship fuel automatically and is more practical and efficient. It is also easier to maintain than a boiler on a ship. The design of this tool is based on accurate calculation of temperature values, with which the process of heating up fuel becomes faster. From the results of this study, a heat sensor that can read the temperature value and the buzzer will sound and the device will automatically turn off if the temperature has reached a specified setpoint. This research was carried out when the ship was about to make a departure to find out the temperature in the heating of the fuel on the ship. Testing Design of an automatic electric oil heater as a replacement for IoT-based thermal oil boiler on this bulk carrier ship, it can be known the disadvantages and advantages of this tool, testing can be done by putting oil into the electric heater, then in a short time the oil will heat up quickly, and the tool will be able to turn off automatically and the buzzer will immediately turn on when the heat has reached the specified temperature. In the temperature setting, it can be set in a smartphone or an app that can adjust the temperature and turn off the appliance from a considerable distance. However, the application must use the internet network and cannot be accessed locally, the use of IoT requires devices and smartphones to be connected to the internet.

Abstract

The smart room concept aims at energy efficiency by integrating natural and artificial lighting systems through automatic control and sensors by determining the types of sensors used, the smart room concept provides an efficient solution for managing buildings, such as ships, by integrating automatic technology to control the lighting system, burning, and others. Smart spaces leverage computers and the Internet of Things (IoT) to increase comfort and efficiency, at a lower cost than traditional systems. The method used by this panel of researchers uses a prototype as a system development that uses an approach to create a program quickly and gradually so that it can immediately be evaluated by users. In order to obtain data in completing this research, the writer used direct field research techniques in ship accommodation which still uses a manual system in the room. The results of this research were obtained from the design of hardware and software in a smart room which developed an LDR sensor to turn on the lights automatically at night, a PIR sensor to turn on the AC when it automatically detects someone's presence, an ultrasonic sensor to turn on the faucet automatically and uses CCTV that can rotate 3600. The smart room can carry out monitoring using IoT which can be controlled by the ESP12F, which communicates with the Arduino Uno via the Serial Monitor feature for data exchange. Remote control via the third party application Blynk ran smoothly without significant problems and the test results were declared valid..

Abstract

This research aims to design and developing a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) leak monitoring system in the cold storage cooling system on the Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) ship by utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology. HFC leaks in cooling systems can cause environmental hazards and operational inefficiencies. The proposed system integrates sensors and IoT devices to continuously monitor HFC levels, detect leaks in real-time, and provide instant alerts to crew and management. The system architecture includes sensors for HFC detection, a microcontroller for data processing, and a communication module for data transmission to a central monitoring platform. Real-time data can be accessed through a user-friendly interface, enabling timely intervention and maintenance. Initial testing shows that the system is effective in identifying and reporting HFC leaks, potentially reducing environmental impacts and improving the safety and efficiency of cold storage operations on AHTS vessels. Further development and extensive field testing are planned to refine the system and validate its performance across a wide range of operational conditions.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze cases of management in hypertensive patients with a therapeutic intervention of lemongrass warm foot bath on the reduction of blood pressure. The writing design used is a case report. Participants in the preparation of case reports with medical diagnosis of hypertension, The focus of the study in this study is clients with nursing and diagnosis problems, namely clients who experience increased blood pressure with hypertension. The research instruments used were observation of blood pressure of hypertension patients and nursing care reports. The research was carried out at RW 24 Batursari, Mranggen Demak. The time for data collection is for the first and second patients on November 5, 2024 – November 07, 2024 with the length of data collection time to be carried out on patients, which is a minimum of 3 days of treatment. Based on the results of the final evaluation on both subjects, all of these diagnoses were successfully resolved. Diagnoses that were successfully completed in the first subjects included acute pain, impaired physical mobility, knowledge deficit, and risk of falls. Meanwhile, the diagnoses that were successfully overcome in the second subject were acute pain, sleep pattern disorders, knowledge deficits, and spiritual distress.

Abstract

Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 merubah paradigma aktivitas kehidupan masyarakat dari interaksi secara langsung menjadi interaksi secara tidak langsung yaitu melalui aplikasi pada smartphone. Antusiasme masyarakat Indonesia dalam penggunaan aplikasi pada smartphone menimbulkan sisi negatif baik dari sisi etika penggunaan aplikasi maupun dari sisi kejahatan siber. Cyber Bullying yang dilakukan pada medsos menimbulkan traumatik psikis, rusaknya nama baik dari korban sampai berujung pada bunuh diri seperti yang dialami oleh publik figura indonesia. Kejahatan lainnya yang tidak kalah penting yang berbanding lurus dengan maraknya penggunaan aplikasi pada smartphone adalah kejahatan siber atau sering disebut Cyber Crime dan Indonesia menempati urutan kedua yang menjadi target kejahatan siber setelah ukraina. Kejahatan Cyber meningkat pada aplikasi Smartphone terutama aplikasi yang berkaitan dengan internet seperti Cyber Bullying dan Cyber Crime dikarenakan masyarakat masih awam akan etika penggunaan aplikasi pada Smartphone dan keamanan informasi pada aplikasi smartphone sehingga masyarakat belum mengetahui konsekuensi dari tidak memahami kedua hal tersebut. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan penyuluhan mengenai etika penggunaan aplikasi pada smartphone dan keamanan informasi pada aplikasi smartphone. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penyuluhan yang telah dilaksanakan yaitu peserta aktif dan antusian dengan materi dan berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka mengenai etika dan keamanan informasi pada penggunaan aplikasi smartphone

Abstract

A conveyor is a tool with a large rubber band arranged transversely between two pulleys at a constant speed as a transporter of solid material in this case coal with the provisions of the permitted amount. Damage to the conveyor tool has a major impact on the smooth running of a coal loading and unloading process, so a coal monitoring tool was designed using an ESP32 microcontroller-based data logger. The purpose of this study is to find out how to design a coal load monitoring tool based on a data logger using the Research and Development (R&D) method type ADDIE. Using the following types of testing: static and dynamic. The research results show that the load monitoring system based on a load cell and ESP32 microcontroller demonstrates high accuracy, with a reading deviation of less than 2% from the actual weight. The system is also considered effective, as it can detect loads, adjust the hatch door angle, and transmit data to Google Spreadsheet in real-time without disruptions. Its ability to adapt to varying loads indicates that the prototype operates stably, responsively, and in accordance with the design objectives.

Abstract

On tanker ships, boilers play a crucial role in providing steam for various operational needs. The stability and reliability of the temperature and water level control system are essential to maintaining efficiency and safety on board. This research aims to design and develop an automatic control system using Outseal PLC and HMI to regulate the temperature and water level in boilers. The research method used is experimental, where the system is designed, developed, and tested to evaluate its effectiveness.The system design involves a DS18B20 sensor to detect temperature, an ultrasonic sensor to measure water levels, and a heater as a heating actuator. The Outseal PLC functions as the main control unit, while the HMI facilitates monitoring and operation. The results show that the system can control water temperature within the desired range, with an average setpoint achievement time of 3.5 to 4.5 minutes. Additionally, the water level control system operates in real-time with a high level of accuracy.The implementation of this automatic control system based on Outseal PLC and HMI is expected to improve operational efficiency and safety on tanker ships. Moreover, it can serve as a reference for developing similar control systems in the maritime industry.
