Abstract

This research is quantitative, descriptive, and associative type. The population in this study was 70 employees at the Gambir Tiga Jakarta Primary Tax Service Office. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling. With the total sampling technique, a sample of 70 employees was taken at the Gambir Tiga Jakarta Primary Tax Service Office as respondents in this study. The results of this study indicate that: 1) There is an influence of work ethic on employee performance, as evidenced by the count for the X1 variable (Work Ethic) of 13,491, while the value of the t table for n = 70 is 1,994. So t arithmetic> table or  13,491> 1,994, it can be concluded that the  Work  Ethic variable influences partially the Job Performance of Employees. The coefficient regression value of the. The work ethic variable (X1) to the Employee Job Performance variable (Y) is 0.405. This means that if the Work Ethics variable (X1) rises by 1 unit it will increase the. Employee Job Performance (Y) variable by 0.405, assuming the Work Ethics variable (X1) is considered constant. 2) There is an influence of the work environment on employee work performance, as evidenced by the count for the X2 variable (Work Environment) of 16,862, while the value of the table for n = 70 is 1,994. So tcount>table or 16,862>1,994, it can be concluded that partial  Work  Environment variables affect Employee Work Performance. The value of the regression coefficient of the Work Environment variable (X2) to the Employee Job Performance variable (Y) is 0.605. This means that if the Work Environment variable (X2) increases by 1 unit, it will increase the Employee Job Performance (Y) variable by 0.605, assuming the Work Environment variable (X2) is considered constant. 3) There is an influence of work ethic and work environment together on employee work performance, as evidenced by the ANOVA or Ftest or Fcount test in the value of 302,319 which is greater than Ftable of 2.74 with a significant level of 0,000 because 0,000 <0.05, so it can be said that the Work Ethics variable (X1) and Work Environment variable (X2) together influence the Employee Performance variable (Y). While the Adjusted R. Square value of 0.900. This shows that 90% of the work ethic and work environment simultaneously (jointly) affect employee work performance, while the remaining 10% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The adoption of digital payments by micromerchants in South Jakarta remains low. This study aims to investigate the reasons behind this reluctance, identify the factors that contribute to it, and suggest potential solutions. Qualitative research method was used. The research sample consisted of microentrepreneurs in the culinary, food and beverage, grocery, and home laundry sectors. Data were collected through interviews and observations in order to gain a more detailed understanding. The findings indicate that a significant proportion of small entrepreneurs remain reluctant to utilize digital payments because of a lack of comprehension regarding its utilization. This underscores the necessity for the provision of education and training to micro-merchants regarding the advantages and operational aspects of digital payments. This could potentially enhance the adoption of digital payments among micromerchants and facilitate more efficient business operations.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dual role of community organizations (OMS) in managing illegal parking in Jakarta. The focus is to understand how OMS are not only involved in economic exploitation but also contribute to law enforcement in public spaces. A mixed-method approach is used to gain a comprehensive understanding of this phenomenon. Quantitative data was collected through surveys administered to users of illegal parking services and members of civil society organizations (CSOs). Qualitative data were collected through focused group discussions involving Pemuda Pancasila, FBR, Forkabi, and other informal actors. Findings show that CSOs have a dual function: they act as parking enforcement officers while also engaging in the collection of illegal fees. Although operating outside the formal legal framework, their presence reflects a hybrid governance model that fills institutional gaps in the provision of public services. More inclusive and participatory urban governance policies are needed to address the complexity of informal regulation in city management. This study contributes to the understanding of informal governance and hybrid authority in urban environments. The novelty lies in the dual role of OMS in addressing illegal parking and informal parking governance.

Abstract

This study aims to map the intellectual structure and evolution of institutional voids research within the field of entrepreneurial economics using a bibliometric approach. Institutional voids, defined as the absence of market-supporting institutions, play a critical role in shaping entrepreneurial activities, particularly in emerging and developing economies. Despite the increasing volume of related studies, the literature remains fragmented and lacks a comprehensive synthesis. To address this gap, this study analyzes publications indexed in the Scopus database from 2000 to 2025, employing bibliometric techniques such as co-authorship analysis, citation analysis, and keyword co-occurrence using VOSviewer. The findings reveal that the research field is characterized by a fragmented collaboration structure, dominated by a limited number of influential scholars and institutions, with weak inter-cluster connections. Geographically, knowledge production is concentrated in developed countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom, while emerging economies are increasingly contributing but remain relatively peripheral. Thematic analysis shows that institutional voids serve as a central concept linked to key areas such as entrepreneurship, economic development, and institutional theory, with recent trends shifting toward sustainability, innovation, and inclusive development. This study contributes by providing a systematic and comprehensive overview of the intellectual landscape of institutional voids research, identifying major themes, influential works, and emerging research directions. The findings offer valuable insights for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, particularly in understanding how institutional deficiencies influence entrepreneurial dynamics and how future research can be directed toward more integrated, interdisciplinary, and contextually relevant studies.

Abstract

Sustainable Human Resource Management (Sustainable HRM) has become a prominent topic in organizational research, driven by the increasing imperative to embed sustainability into corporate strategy and operations. This study employs a bibliometric approach to analyze the intellectual, geographical, and thematic progression of Sustainable HRM literature. A total of 229 articles published between 2005 and 2025 were retrieved from the Scopus database and analyzed using VOSviewer. The analysis includes author co-authorship, international collaboration, keyword co-occurrence, and temporal overlay visualization. The findings indicate a substantial growth in research output, with the United Kingdom, the United States, and India emerging as leading contributors. Author co-authorship mapping reveals influential clusters, notably around Jabbour CJC. Thematic analysis identifies five dominant clusters: green HRM, corporate social responsibility (CSR), employee well-being, strategic alignment, and workforce adaptability in the post-pandemic era. The overlay visualization highlights a chronological shift from foundational themes such as environmental sustainability toward emergent topics like digital transformation and organizational resilience. This study provides an integrative overview of the evolution of Sustainable HRM scholarship, identifies research gaps, and outlines directions for future inquiry. The findings offer both theoretical contributions and practical implications for aligning human resource strategies with long-term sustainability objectives

Abstract

Employee well-being has become increasingly important in creative industries characterized by digitalization, irregular work arrangements, and intensive performance demands. This study examines the relationships among technology integration, work–life balance, job stress, and employee well- being among 150 professionals in Jakarta’s art industry. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed, and the data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 3. The model explained 62.2% of the variance in employee well-being and demonstrated predictive relevance. Technology integration and work–life balance were positively and significantly associated with employee well-being. Job stress also produced a significant coefficient; however, its positive direction contradicted the hypothesized negative relationship. The item coding and original model output should therefore be verified before this result is interpreted substantively. This study extends existing evidence by integrating digital, work–life, and stress-related conditions within an underexamined creative- industry context. From an internal marketing perspective, technology integration may be understood as internal service infrastructure, work–life balance as part of the employee value proposition, and stress management as an expression of organizational support. This perspective extends the managerial relevance of the findings without treating internal marketing as an empirically tested construct.
