Abstract

Dalam sebuah organisasi, terdapat unsur-unsur penting untuk menjaga loyalitas pada setiap anggota maupun pengurus, salah satunya adalah iklim organisasi. Iklim organisasi yang tidak nyaman akan berimplikasi pada komunikasi yang sudah tidak sejalan dan bahkan mendorong pengurus untuk mengurangi motivasinya. Berdasarkan temuan peneliti, Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim yang mengalami penurunan motivasi yang ditandai dengan kepasifan hingga keluarnya beberapa anggota pengurus dengan keinginannya sendiri. Melalui latar belakang ini, penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara iklim komunikasi organisasi dengan motivasi kerja pengurus Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim. Penelitian menggunakan teori human relations dan dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif metode korelasional serta dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah para pengurus Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim sebanyak 55 orang yang didapatkan melalui teknik sampel acak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa angka koefisien korelasi yang didapatkan saat menguji korelasi antara iklim komunikasi organisasi dengan motivasi kerja pengurus Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim adalah sebesar 0.551 yang artinya bahwa kedua variabel memiliki hubungan dengan tingkat keeratan yang kuat dan bersifat positif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara iklim komunikasi organisasi dengan motivasi kerja pengurus Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim.

Abstract

This study examines how entrepreneurial values are fostered through interaction and communication between local and migrant entrepreneurs in coastal tourism areas. The study emphasizes the critical role of a shared understanding of these values, highlighting the need to promote local economic growth and develop a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem. Research objectives: This study aims to identify the factors that drive entrepreneurial values among local and migrant entrepreneurs in coastal tourism areas. Methods: A qualitative research approach was used, and data was collected through interviews and observations. The study focused on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) operating in Pangandaran. The research shows that essential attributes of business success - such as grit, new ideas, and a willingness to stand on one’s own two feet - come from life experiences and the give-and-take within the community and culture. Both local entrepreneurs and travelers can use social connections and circles as tools for growth and support. At the heart of this discovery? These sociable traits are passed down through different groups, while language skills are spread across many places. Together, they create resilient people skilled in business and entrepreneurship. This Recommendation focuses on increasing collaboration between entrepreneurs through mentoring programs, workshops, and networking events to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience. These initiatives are expected to increase innovation, competitiveness, and business sustainability in coastal tourism, strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Abstract

Tantangan utama Pendidikan di abad 21 yaitu menyiapkan dan menjamin para siswa agar mampu dan terampil dalam belajar, beradaptasi dengan inovasi menggunakan dan memanfaatkan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi. Dalam ranah Pendidikan, guru dan siswa sebagai peserta didik, diharapkan memeliki kemampuan dan keterampilan yang berkaitan dengan berpikir kritis dan solutif dalam memecahkan masalah, berkomunikasi dengan baik dan efektif, kreatif dan inovatif serta mampu membangun jaringan dan atau kolaborasi dengan banyak pihak yang berkepentingan secara luas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan diskusi disertai contoh kasus. Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat dijalankan di dua Sekolah Dasar Negeri yang terletak di wilayah Bandung, yaitu SDN Banjarsari dan SDN Kencana Indah II yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Bandung. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai perkembangan serta pentingnya literasi media digital yang sangat terkait dengan evolusi industri 4.0. Hasil dari kegiatan PPM ini, yang diperoleh melalui pre-test dan post-test, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman para guru dan peserta didik terkait penggunaan dan pengelolaan konten yang positif dari berbagai platform internet, seperti email, Facebook, Twitter, dan Instagram. Selama pelaksanaan PPM, kami berfokus pada memberikan pengetahuan yang dapat membantu para peserta untuk mengenali dan memahami bagaimana mengelola konten secara bijaksana dan positif di era digital.

Abstract

Using a website has become a primary method for delivering information, doing promotion, and marketing activities. E-commerce business people acknowledged the importance of developing a reliable website to reach the market through the internet, as part of e-service, especially in a country with a large market share like Indonesia. Unfortunately, not every e-commerce web designer is aware of the website accessibility criteria, the lack of awareness creates barriers for persons with disabilities to access e-commerce websites, as buyers and sellers. The accessibility gap of those website limits the ability of persons with disabilities to optimize the presence of e-commerce as an economic opportunity. We need to overcome the barriers to create an inclusive society in Indonesia. This paper aims to provide an overview of the accessibility of e-commerce websites in Indonesia, to find the common web accessibility issues, classified them comparatively into several tiers, type of issues, and then calculates the correlation of total issues with the number of visitors. This study analyzes 39 e-commerce websites. We evaluate based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, using an automated tool called "aXe". The study shows evidence of various accessibility issues of e-commerce websites in Indonesia, emphasizing the necessity of web designers to pay more attention to accessibility for users with disabilities. This study also provides several recommendations to website accessibility as part of e-service quality.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Jakarta Feminist memperkenalkan “Cari Layanan” sebagai platform untuk memfasilitasi korban kekerasan dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang layanan bantuan. Penelitian ini merujuk pada model strategi komunikasi organisasi nirlaba oleh Sally J. Patterson yang terdiri dari tujuh langkah. Tujuan: Penelitian ini difokuskan pada evaluasi strategi komunikasi Jakarta Feminist dalam mempromosikan “Cari Layanan” sebagai sumber informasi bantuan kekerasan berbasis gender. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk menilai sejauh mana strategi tersebut sesuai dengan tujuan organisasi. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Validasi data dilakukan menggunakan triangulasi sumber data. Hasil: Temuan penelitian mengungkap beberapa hal kunci. Pertama, Jakarta Feminist telah mematuhi langkah-langkah persiapan perencanaan yang disarankan oleh Patterson, meskipun analisis situasi masih belum mendalam. Kedua, meskipun penentuan target audiens telah jelas, formulasi tujuan masih belum optimal dalam hal spesifikasi, pengukuran, dan penentuan batas waktu. Ketiga, pengembangan pesan telah dilakukan dengan baik, meskipun pesan yang disampaikan masih kurang jelas bagi target audiens. Keempat, strategi penyebaran melibatkan pertemuan tatap muka dan media online. Terakhir, evaluasi dilakukan melalui berbagai acara sesuai dengan model Patterson, seperti focus group, analisis layanan kliping, dan survei sampling. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga tentang keberhasilan dan kekurangan strategi komunikasi Jakarta Feminist dalam mempromosikan “Cari Layanan”.

Abstract

PT Surveyor Indonesia is a survey, inspection, consultancy and certification services company. As an agent of development for the Government, PT Surveyor Indonesia pays special attention to the global issue of Sustainability, which in collaboration with APEKSI (Association of City Governments throughout Indonesia) has developed the Integrated Sustainability Indonesia Movement (I-SIM) for Cities programme, which aims to fully support the acceleration of the City's SDGs achievement and encourage the development of city government capabilities towards international sustainable city standards. The I-SIM for Cities programme is part of the SDGs Annual Conference 2022 organised by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas. With the spirit of inclusivity or no one left behind, I-SIM for Cities creates a multi-stakeholder penta helix engagement, such as government, academia, philanthropy, community, business, and media. This research aims to find out how the implementation of SDGs carried out by PT Surveyor Indonesia through the I-SIM for Cities programme. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that out of 98 cities in Indonesia, 74 cities are registered in I-SIM for Cities. Then, of the 74 cities will be re-selected into 15 cities that will enter the judging process. Then selected again to 6 cities to enter the awarding stage. This is seen based on the percentage of data filling, data quality, and the availability of superior programmes.

Abstract

Background: Empowering impoverished communities has been a long-standing endeavor. However, the persistent prevalence of poverty still affects approximately 25 million individuals (BPS, 2023). Nevertheless, the government continues its relentless efforts to minimize the presence of impoverished families. One of the strategies employed is the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH). PKH stands as a program that has effectively fulfilled its mission. Various research studies have been conducted to comprehend the processes, mechanisms, impacts, and societal implications. However, research exploring the cross-sectoral communication aspects, elaborating on the involvement of stakeholders and PKH implementers spanning multiple institutions, remains lacking. Purpose: This research aims to measure the level of influence of multi-sectoral integration communication on the performance of individual PKH implementers. Methods: The employed methodology is an explanatory survey. The surveyed population comprises civil servants engaged in PKH. The population size consists of 80 individuals. Probability sampling is utilized as the sampling technique, with a sample size of 44 respondents, determined using the Slovin method. Hypothesis testing employs Path Analysis. Results: The research findings indicate a significant influence of cross-sectoral communication factors, encompassing organizational member perceptions, organizational strategies, communication climate, media quality, information accessibility, information dissemination, information accuracy, and organizational culture, on the performance of individual PKH implementers. Conclusion: Organizational member performance emerges as a critical aspect for the success of PKH implementation. The research results demonstrate that this performance is influenced by several factors, including information accessibility, media quality, information accuracy, organizational communication climate, organizational culture, information dissemination, and organizational strategies in the execution of the PKH program. Implications: The success of PKH is contingent upon the performance of individual members from collaborating institutions. Enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of individual performance factors can be achieved by synergizing with cross-sectoral communication components.

Abstract

Background: Traditional medicine using herbal plants is one of the cultural assets of Indonesians. Belief in the efficacy of herbal plants as a definite treatment has been recognized for generations, especially among indigenous peoples. Purpose: This research aims to determine the role of a traditional school in bequeathing the culture of herbal medicine through health communication. Methods: This study employed a qualitative method. The data were collected using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and guided group discussions. Results: The research results reveal six health communication methods to bequeath the culture of the use of herbal plants for health: 1) lecturing, 2) demonstrating, 3) hands-on practicing with assignments, 4) sharing, 5) role modeling, and 6) storytelling. The medical techniques of the indigenous people of Dangiang are categorized into three: 1) using the mind (medicine as communication media), 2) using herbal plants, and 3) using chemical drugs. The Dangiang community imposes special treatment to maintain public health, especially water use and waste disposal. Conclusion: Dangiang Traditional Village community is trying to preserve the traditional culture inherited from their ancestors, especially by using medicinal plants for health. Implications: This traditional school is expected to bring two final results: a) to bequeath traditional medicine culture, b) to preserve and maintain the local culture, and c) to inform the young generation about local customs and culture.

Abstract

The development of technology today has encouraged various digital transactions to conduct cashless and cardless transactions. Therefore, the term digital wallet emerged. Digital wallets have allowed users to store money and then make transactions with partners. Many companies have created digital wallets, one of which is DANA. Despite the rapid development of the DANA digital wallet application since 2018, users still report various types of complaints when using the DANA application. This has made DANA get more than 600,000 one-star reviews with 4.1 stars in the Google Play application. Through this background, the research wants to analyze the influence of technology use factors on the intention and behavior of using the DANA digital wallet based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) theoretical model initiated by Venkatesh. The sample studied amounted to 276 DANA users from various cities in Indonesia and was taken using convenience sampling technique. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the seven Factors of Technology Use (FPT) consisting of Performance Expectations (PE), Effort Expectations (EE), Social Influence (SI), Facilitating Conditions (FC), Hedonic Motivation (HM), Price Value (PV), and Habit (H) simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on each variable of Behavioral Intention (BI) and Usage Behavior (UB). Berkembangnya teknologi saat ini telah mendorong berbagai transaksi digital untuk melakukan transaksi non-tunai maupun non-kartu. Oleh karena itu, muncul istilah dompet digital. Dompet digital telah memungkinkan pengguna untuk menyimpan uang kemudian dapat melakukan transaksi pada rekanan. Banyak Perusahaan yang menciptakan dompet digital, salah satunya adalah DANA. Di samping pesatnya perkembangan aplikasi dompet digital DANA sejak 2018, pengguna masih melaporkan berbagai jenis keluhan saat menggunakan aplikasi DANA Hal ini membuat DANA mendapatkan lebih dari 600.000 ulasan berbintang satu dengan bintang 4,1 di aplikasi Google Play. Melalui latar belakang ini, penelitian hendak menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor penggunaan teknologi terhadap niat dan perilaku penggunaan dompet digital DANA berdasarkan model teoretis Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) yang digagas oleh Venkatesh. Sampel yang diteliti berjumlah 276 orang pengguna DANA dari berbagai kota di Indonesia dan diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Data dianalisis dengan Structural Equation Model (SEM) menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS 3. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa ketujuh Faktor Penggunaan Teknologi (FPT) yang terdiri dari Ekspektasi Kinerja (PE), Ekspektasi Usaha (EE), Pengaruh Sosial (SI), Kondisi yang Memfasilitasi (FC), Motivasi Hedonis (HM), Nilai Harga (PV), dan Kebiasaan (H) secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap masing-masing variabel Niat Berperilaku (BI) dan Perilaku Penggunaan (UB).

Abstract

The research investigates the importance of English skills in improving the performance of small-scale business practitioners in the tourism industry on Pangandaran Beach. This area is unique and environmentally friendly and serves both domestic and international tourists which in turn provide vast opportunities for supply. However, entrepreneurs are unable to articulate some ideas and interact better with foreign tourists because of the language barrier which limits their ability to market local culture, services and make money.  Data collected includes quantitative data from 46 respondents and qualitative interviews. From these it can be discerned that English skills vary, with the majority of entrepreneurs appearing to be educated however with limited command of the language. Some of the challenges were time going to classes, finances, and language barriers. Notably however, contact with visitors, especially foreign nationals, is deemed abundant and English is deemed important to use in order to achieve satisfaction. The results illustrate the possibility that better English proficiency can lead to better quality of interaction, more positive feedback, and increased earnings. The study centers around flexible and inexpensive English training that is supplemented with the needs of the entrepreneurs like online, role gaming and etc. These kinds of activities are crucial in enabling small scale businesses to compete in the international tourism market, boost the quality of services and stimulate the growth of the regional economy.
