Abstract

General Background The rapid growth of internet connectivity has transformed modern commercial practices, compelling businesses to adopt online platforms for product promotion. Specific Background Tuxedo Autocare, an automotive care brand, utilizes Instagram, TikTok, and Shopee live broadcasting to reach consumers, yet experienced a recent decline in monthly revenue. Knowledge Gap While social media promotion is widely adopted, the specific operational constraints and content engagement variations that hinder consistent revenue generation in local automotive care businesses remain underexplored. Aims This study investigates the applied digital commercial strategies, identifies operational obstacles, and formulates optimization tactics for Tuxedo Autocare. Results A qualitative descriptive analysis reveals that emotional content generates the highest audience impressions on Instagram, while interactive and comedic live broadcasting significantly recovers declining revenue. However, the brand faces critical operational barriers, including inconsistent broadcasting schedules, limited content innovation, insufficient branding personnel, and a lack of dedicated communication devices. Novelty This research provides a direct evaluation of content-specific engagement metrics and real-time live commerce constraints within a local automotive care enterprise. Implications Enterprises must prioritize consistent broadcasting schedules, diversify interactive content, and allocate dedicated resources for digital management to ensure sustainable commercial growth. Highlights: Emotional content on social media generates significantly higher audience impressions than direct promotional materials. Integrating interactive dialogue and comedy during real-time broadcasting directly recovers declining commercial revenue. Inconsistent schedules and inadequate dedicated equipment severely restrict the optimization of promotional strategies. Abstract

The use of social media as a communication and promotion tool for health services has become increasingly important in the digital era. West Sidoarjo Hospital utilizes Instagram to deliver information related to health services, health education, and various hospital activities to the public. Nevertheless, an evaluation of promotional effectiveness is required to ensure that the messages conveyed are well received by the audience. This community service activity aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Instagram promotion at West Sidoarjo Hospital using the EPIC Model, which includes the dimensions of Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, and Communication. The activity employed a quantitative approach through a survey method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 followers of the hospital’s Instagram account who met the respondent criteria. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that Instagram promotion at West Sidoarjo Hospital is generally effective. The Communication and Persuasion dimensions contribute     most significantly to promotional effectiveness, while Empathy and Impact function as supporting dimensions. These findings are expected to serve as evaluation material for improving the hospital’s digital communication strategy in accordance with community needs.   Keywords : EPIC Model; the effectiveness of promotions; Instagram; hospitals; Community service

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of the Scalev platform as a landing page in digital marketing activities at Human Capital University. A landing page functions as a structured medium for presenting service information while simultaneously encouraging prospective users to take decisive actions, such as completing registration or making purchases. The primary objective of this study is to understand the implementation process of the landing page and to identify challenges encountered during its early adoption phase. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation and documentation conducted throughout the campaign period. The findings indicate that both visitor volume and transaction rates had not yet reached a stable level, largely attributable to inconsistent content distribution across social media platforms. This instability directly affected the incoming traffic to the landing page and consequently influenced the overall conversion rate. The study further affirms that the effectiveness of a landing page is not solely determined by the visual quality of the page itself, but is also shaped by the consistency of promotional activities, the clarity of the message conveyed, and the precision of audience segmentation. Therefore, the implementation of the Scalev platform should be accompanied by periodic evaluation and continuous strategic adjustment to effectively support the achievement of digital marketing objectives in service-based organizations.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the field of statistics requires the availability of business data that is highly accurate, constantly updated, and systematically integrated. In this regard, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) plays an important role in maintaining data quality through the updating of the Statistical Business Register (SBR). This study aims to describe the implementation of business data digitization through SBR profiling and business tagging based on the SW Maps application at the BPS in Sidoarjo Regency, using a qualitative descriptive approach in the form of a case study conducted during an internship program. The findings indicate that the business data digitization process was carried out in stages and interconnected, starting with the use of Microsoft Excel for data pre-processing, followed by MatchaPro for SBR updating and validation, and SW Maps for determining business locations based on geographic coordinates. Profiling activities play a role in maintaining the consistency and validity of business data, while the tagging process serves to complement non-spatial data with spatial information. However, during implementation, several technical challenges were encountered, including inaccurate coordinates, data entry errors, network connectivity disruptions, and limited access via Virtual Private Network (VPN). Overall, the integration of SBR profiling and SW Maps-based business tagging activities has proven effective in improving the quality of business data management and supporting the provision of more accurate, reliable, and sustainable regional economic statistics.
