Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of constructive communication in driving community sports through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. A total of 218 peer-reviewed articles published between 2017 and 2025 in the Scopus database were thematically analyzed to examine how communication contributes to building inclusive, resilient, and empowered sports communities. The findings revealed five major themes: participation and social inclusion, digital transformation and community media, interpersonal skills and leadership, crisis communication strategies, and communication as a tool for social justice. The study highlights that open, empathetic, and collaborative communication not only enhances community engagement but also strengthens inclusive leadership and social resilience. Digital technology plays a significant role in expanding communication channels, although it requires adequate literacy and social sensitivity. The study recommends strengthening interpersonal communication capacities among coaches and facilitators, promoting inclusive use of digital technologies, and implementing continuous evaluation mechanisms to ensure the success of community sports programs

Abstract

Lower Limb Lean Mass (LLLM) represents the fat-free muscle mass in the lower extremities, which plays a crucial role in generating explosive power. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between LLLM and lower-limb explosive power in sub-elite swimmers. Thirty-three athletes participated (22 males, 11 females; age 17.36 ± 1.55 years, height 164.3 ± 7.57 cm, body mass 56.39 ± 7.58 kg, BMI 20.84 ± 2.1 kg/m²). LLLM was assessed using an InBody 270 body composition analyzer, while explosive power was evaluated through the Countermovement Jump (CMJ) test with Force-decks. Results demonstrated significant correlations between LLLM and jump height (p = 0.001; r = 0.553), peak power (p = 0.001; r = 0.821), and takeoff peak force (p = 0.001; r = 0.805). These findings indicate that LLLM contributes substantially to explosive performance, particularly during the start and turn phases in swimming. Therefore, LLLM may serve as a functional indicator for monitoring and designing training programs to enhance swimmers explosive capacity.

Abstract

The issue of athletes' mental health is currently a serious concern for various groups. This study aims to analyze psychological factors on athletes' performance and well-being through a literature review. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining articles from Google Scholar, Scopus, and ResearchGate. Selection was based on inclusion criteria (articles from 2015–2025, relevant to sports psychology, full-text) and exclusion criteria (proceedings, theses/dissertations, duplicates). From this process, ten main articles were obtained and analyzed using thematic synthesis. The results showed that intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, and mental toughness contributed positively to performance improvement, while anxiety and burnout had a negative impact on concentration and achievement. Social support, mindfulness, and integrated psychological interventions were also found to maintain athletes' mental well-being. Athletes' success is influenced not only by physical aspects but also by psychological resilience and external support. Practitioners are advised to integrate mental training, while further research needs to explore technology-based interventions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the competence of Physical Education teachers at SD Kota Utara Gorontalo, as well as teachers' understanding of learning concepts. View and test the effectiveness of the products produced in increasing the competency of elementary physical education teachers regarding learning concepts in Kota Utara District, Gorontalo City which lead to the 2013 Curriculum Education learning process. The research method used is the research and development model, namely: Model Development, Procedure Development, Product Testing with 17 Physical Education teachers as subjects in North Gorontalo District. The development of understanding competence in the teaching and learning process for physical education for elementary school teachers in the North City District of Gorontalo City can be developed regarding understanding of learning concepts as evidenced by changes in understanding through tests of initial understanding and final understanding during debriefing, as evidenced by the results of an initial understanding score of 5.88% (No Good), 52.94% (Poor), 41.18% (Enough) and the final understanding score obtained a score of 16.7% (Enough), 33.3% (Good), 50% (Very Good). Thus, the percentage increase in the level of development of subject competencies is very good. 4) The competence and ability of the teacher in implementing the Teaching and Learning Process of physical education is very visible, its development after receiving a briefing on the concept of learning is proven in the first trial (small group) and the second trial the improvement is very good and very high.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate that supplementation with pollen nutritional ingredients can enhance the rate of decrease in lactic acid levels and heart rate after 1 hour of submaximal exercise loading. The research methodology employed is experimental, utilizing a randomized one-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample consisted of 11 students from the Sports Science Study Program at Surabaya State University. Data analysis was conducted using the T-Test with a significance level of 0.05. The findings revealed a decrease in blood lactic acid levels and pulse rate after 1 hour of submaximal exercise. The percentage decrease in pulse rate was 91.541%, while the percentage decrease in blood lactic acid levels was 85.099%. However, it is important to note that comparing the percentage decrease in pulse rate to the percentage decrease in blood lactic acid levels may not be accurate due to the distinct nature of the two systems. Additionally, the supplement group demonstrated greater improvement compared to the control group, which did not receive supplements. Nonetheless, it should be acknowledged that both research variables had not fully returned to pre-exercise conditions.

Abstract

Pentingnya pendidikan fisik jasmani anak mengarah pada jangka waktu panjang mengenai tujuan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan dan minat fisik anak. Proses kemampuan dan keterampilan motorik anak berkaitan dengan proses pertumbuhan gerak anak. Berbagai gerakan dan permainan yang dilakukan menunjukkan adanya perkembangan kemampuan motorik anak. Agility adalah kemampuan yang dilakukan secara cepat untuk mengubah arah dalam kombinasi dengan gerakan lain. Melatih agility membutuhkan latihan yang tepat sehingga dapat menggabungkan antara gerak dan mengubah arah secara cepat. Salah satunya yaitu penggunaan pelatihan permainan tradisional bentengan yang belum pernah diadakan Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pelem 1 Pare Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif metode quasi-experiment3dengan desain penelitian one group pretest and posttest design. Teknik purposive sampling dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dalam jumlah sampel 20 siswa putra. Perlakuan treatment selama 16 kali pertemuan. Tes dan pengukuran Illinois agility test digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Uji T (paired sample t-test) digunakan dalam hasil penelitian. Ditemukan adanya perbedaan antara latihan permainan tradisional bentengan dengan latihan kelincahan pada siswa putra di SD Negeri Pelem 1 Pare Kabupaten Kediri. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji T menunjukkan nilai t (53,56) > t tabel (0,05) (19) (2,093) dan P (0,000) < α (0,05). Jadi ada perbedaan setelah dilakukan treatment. Persentase kenaikannya sebesar 9,7%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh latihan permainan tradisional bentengan terhadap agility pada siswa putra Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pelem 1 Pare Kabupaten Kediri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Komparasi pembelajaran model kooperatif dalam pembelajaran model kooperatif dalam pembelajaran passing bawah bolavoli. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan Randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan cluster random sampling dimana Penentuan grup ini dilakukan melalui undian. Diantara ketiga kelas yang dipilih, ditarik kembali untuk menentukan kelas yang akan menggunakan model Think, Pairs, Share yaitu kelas A, pembelajaran kooperatif pendidikan TGT (Team Games Tournament) kelas B dan kelas kontrol C. Komparasi pembelajaran model kooperatif dalam pembelajaran model kooperatif dalam pembelajaran passing bawah bola voli pada siswa SMP Negeri 1 Ponggok Kabupaten Blitar berdasarkan analisis data pada masing-masing kelas menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas 7A, 7C, 7D, 7E dan 7F diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar p=0,000, sedangkan bahwa pada kelas 7B diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar p=0,002. Sedangkan pada semua kelas diperoleh bahwa nilai t hitung 4,145 > nilai t tabel sebesar 1,653 dan nilai signifikansi p=0,000, sehingga hal ini menyimpulkan bahwa Hipotesis diterima, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh perubahan atau perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pre-test dengan nilai post-test pada Siswa kelas 7 UPT SMP Negeri 1 Ponggok. Berdasarkan temuan data diketahui bahwa dari 191 siswa pada UPT SMP Negeri 1 Ponggok hanya terdapat 22 siswa yang tidak mengalami perubahan nilai atau memiliki nilai yang sama antara hasil belajar pre-test dengan hasil belajar post test. Hal ini berarti terdapat 88,48% siswa UPT SMP Negeri 1 yang mengalami peningkatan nilai. Sedangkan berdasarkan perolehan nilai tidak terdapat siswa yang mengalami penurunan nilai antara hasil belajar pretest dengan nilai belajar post test.
