Abstract

The global Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a change in the way people learn. Face-to-face learning is transformed into daring learning with the use of the internet network. One option that is facilitated by learning and that may be learned at any moment is presented. The researcher created a student worksheet that students would evaluate to see how practical it was. The Mc Kenny development research model is used in this study. The participants in this study were third-semester Mathematics Education Study Program students from IAIN Bukittinggi. After using the designed teaching materials, two experts and students evaluated the product's practicality. The results showed that the instructional materials provided met the practical criteria with a percentage of 79.17 based on the evaluation of two experts and 83 percent based on a student questionnaire. The study's result is that the generated teaching materials have been deemed useful by both experts and students.

Abstract

Often the use of repeated questions and answers is given by the teacher so that they cannot analyze students' mathematical literacy abilities. There needs to be a solution to the PISA problem so that student competencies can be seen clearly. The teacher should analyze this so that it does not happen continuously so that a way can be found to overcome it. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical literacy of junior high school students when working on PISA questions in the Minang context. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the PISA test and interviews became the data in this study. To find out more detailed data, the authors took the research subjects based on the results of the PISA test later and categorized the subjects into the highest, medium and lowest. In this study, researchers used indicators of mathematical literacy level according to PISA. The results of this study indicate that in formulating the situation mathematically is 75%, reasoning 33.05% and solving problems 14.44%. That is, on average, students are only able to answer problems only up to level 2 PISA, that the ability to formulate situations mathematically.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di sekolah mesti menyenangkan baik oleh guru apalagi bagi peserta didiknya. Karena dengan belajar yang menyenangkan peserta didik bisa mengembangkan dirinya dalam proses aktivitas belajar. Peserta didik mengekspresikan diri tanpa terpaksa atau dikendalikan oleh peserta didik lain yang berada disekitarnya. Sehingga prinsip belajar dan bermain yang menyenangkan dapat diwujudkan dan potensi yang ada dalam dirinya dapat dioptimalkan. Sementara dilapangan masih banyak guru yang belum mengoptimalkan kreatifitasnya dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Padahal, kreativitas guru di dalam pembelajaran yang menyenangkan sangat diharapkan dan sangat dibutuhkan oleh siswa. Oleh karenanya pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan belajar yang menyenangkan di hari bermutu pada SDIT Baiturrahim Parik Putuih. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini memperlihatkan peserta didik terlihat sangat antusias mengikuti pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif dari pemateri, seperti integrasi permainan dan teknologi pada proses pembeajaran di sekolah

Abstract

The reason for this study is to find out the missteps made by students when dealing with the problem of applying one variable linear equations. Descriptive qualitative research is the research method used. The location of this research is SMPN 4 Bukittinggi. This study involved 27 students from class VII.G as subjects. The word test is provided as an instrument. According to the findings of this study, students had difficulty solving word problems because they did not understand the reading problem, which caused them to only write what was asked and what they knew. They also have difficulty making mathematical models, determining the results of the solution, using the wrong procedure, and writing the final answer. Because they are not familiar with algebraic calculation operations and have difficulty solving word problems, students have difficulty solving linear equation applications with one variable. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how strong the factors that influence students' interest in learning mathematics in relation to the factors of feeling happy, caring, interested and involved in class XII students of MAN 4 Religion. The research method used is a survey method with a qualitative approach. In this study the techniques used were observation, unstructured interviews and documentation in the form of questionnaires and student learning outcomes. In data processing, this study uses descriptive analysis of the percentage score of the questionnaire. The sample was determined using a random sampling technique. The population used in this study were students of class XII MAN 4 Religion for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 38 samples. The results showed that the factors of feelings of pleasure, attention, interest and student involvement were quite high in influencing students' learning interest in learning mathematics. The feeling of pleasure has a percentage score of 22%, the student attention factor has a percentage of 39%, the student interest factor has the highest percentage, namely 26%, and the lowest factor that students have in learning mathematics is 13%. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see whether there is a link between a person's self-confidence and the assessment of mathematics learning outcomes for students of class XI MAN 3 Padang Panjang. The research population is students of class XI MAN 3 Padang Panjang with a sample of 40 students, with data collection using a random technique. . This research is a quantitative correlation research with the variable under study is the independent variable (x) is self-confidence while the dependent variable (y) is an assessment of learning outcomes in mathematics. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and the results of the odd semester MID exam for the 2022/2023 school year. after doing the calculation through the correlation test obtained r as much as 0.77 so that the relationship between students' self-confidence regarding learning outcomes is strong and unidirectional (positive). That way learning outcomes will increase if self-confidence also increases and vice versa. Based on the significance test also states that t count (7.44) > t table (2.024) thus the relationship between variable x and variable y has a significant influence, with a determination coefficient obtained of 69.4% while the rest is influenced by several other factors. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: menguji dampak penggunaan media sosial siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XII MAN 3 Padang Panjang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII MAN 3 Padang Panjang. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 39 siswa yang dipilih melalui random sampling. Variabel yang diamati adalah: 1) Media sosial merupakan variabel bebas; (2) Hasil belajar merupakan variabel terikat. Angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang dampak media sosial, dan hasil belajar matematika MID tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 digunakan untuk mendokumentasikan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan: Media sosial memiliki dampak yang dapat diabaikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

In the world of education, the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective  realms are three interrelated domains. Therefore, efforts to educate students in the realities of daily life must be balanced with character education. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to describe PMRI in building student character? The purpose of this study is to describe PMRI in building student character.This type of research is library research, namely critically reviewing arguments or findings regarding PMRI in building student character in a literature. The data collection technique in this research is documentation. The author uses two literatures as the main source of research data and three literatures as sources of supporting research data. The data that has been collected is then analyzed so that conclusions can be drawn to solve the topic of the problem in this study.Based on the research results show that PMRI can build students' character. PMRI can build student character through a philosophical foundation (strong interest, appreciation, and humanity), PMRI principles (motivation, high curiosity, hard work, honesty, confidence, courage to defend opinions, be responsible, accept friends' opinions, independence and creative thinking), PMRI characteristics (curiosity, independence, creative thinking, honesty, independence, persistence, and hard work), and PMRI steps (independent, friendly/communicative, honest, working hard in solving problems), creative, democratic, and high curiosity) ensure that PMRI has the potential to grow and build these characters. Dalam dunia pendidikan, ranah kognitif, ranah psikomotor, ranah efektif adalah tiga bidang terkait. Jadi upaya pendidikan siswa di dalam realita kehidupan sehari – harinya yang harus diseimbangkan dengan pendidikan yang mengutamakan karakter. Rumusan masalah yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mendeskripsikan PMRI dalam membangun karakter siswa?. Adapun tujuan didalam penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat  mendeskripsikan PMRI dalam membangun karakter peserta didik.Jenis penelitian dalam kegiatan  ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) adalah mampu meninjau secara kritis argumen atau temuan mengenai PMRI dalam membangun karakter peserta didik dalam sebuah literatur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi. Penulis memakai dua buah dokumen sebagai sumber data penelitian utama dan tiga buah dokumen sebagai sumber data pendukung penelitian. Data yang dikumpulkan selanjutnya dianalisis agar dapat dibuat kesimpulan untuk menjawab topik masalah dalam penelitian.Hasil penelitian adalah  menunjukan bahwa PMRI dapat membangun karakter siswa. PMRI yang dapat membangun karakter siswa melalui landasan filosofis (minat yang kuat, apresiasi, dan humanis), prinsip – prinsip PMRI (motivasi, rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi, berkerja keras, jujur, keyakinan, keberanian mempertahankan pendapat, bertanggungjwab, menerima pendapat teman, mandiri dan berpikir yang kreatif), karakteristik PMRI (rasa ingin tahu, mandiri, berpikir yang kreatif, kejujuran, kemandirian, kegigihan, dan kerja keras), dan langkah – langkah PMRI (mandiri, bersahabat/komunikatif, jujur, bekerja keras dalam kegiatan penyelesaian masalah, kreatif, demokratis, dan rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi) menjamin bahwa PMRI sangatlah potensial dalam menumbuhkan dan membangun karakter siswa di sekolah

Abstract

Abstract The transformation of the world of education which is rapidly changing with the times requires an educator who has outstanding competencies to be able to embrace generation Z in the 21st century. This research discusses the analysis of teacher competencies that are attractive for the 21st century for prospective educators at UIN Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. This research aims to measure the competence of teachers in the 21st century as a preparation for educators to teach in schools for the future. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive analysis research methods. The data collection technique in this research uses a charming competency test using Google Form. The research subjects were 104 FTIK students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at UIN Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. The results of this research are as follows: the score for the sub-topic of nationalism, authoritative attitude is 37 in the poor category; the score for the sub-topic of patriotism and discipline was 52.9 in the quite good category; the score for the sub-topic appreciates a difference of 58.7 in the quite good category; the score for the sub-topic of prioritizing common interests, maintaining Indonesia's natural wealth and community attitudes was 93.3 in the very good category; the score for the sub-topic of appreciating the cultural riches of other nations was 27.9 in the poor category; the score for the assertive attitude sub-topic was 32.7 in the poor category; the score for the sub-topic attitude of full soul calling was 64.4 in the good category; the score for the wholehearted attitude sub-topic was 67.35 in the good category; The score for the sub-topic of generosity was 57.36 in the quite good category. The conclusion of this research is that the average competence of prospective educators is only 59.08%. If this is left unchecked, it will not only have an impact on educators but will also make it difficult for teachers to accommodate students at school.AbstrakTransformasi dunia pendidikan yang cepat berubah mengikuti zaman memerlukan seorang pendidik yang memiliki kompetensi memesona agar dapat merangkul generasi Z di abad 21. Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis kompetensi guru yang memesona abad 21 bagi calon pendidik UIN Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kompetensi guru yang memesona abad 21 sebagai persiapan calon pendidik mengajar di sekolah untuk masa yang akan datang. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode peneitian deskriptif analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes kompetensi memesona menggunakan google form. Subjek penelitian adalah 104 mahasiswa FTIK Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam UIN Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: skor untuk sub topik nasionalisme, sikap berwibawa sebesar 37 pada kategori kurang baik; skor untuk sub topik patriotisme, sikap disiplin sebesar 52,9 pada kategori cukup baik; skor untuk sub topik menghargai perbedaan sebesar 58,7 pada kategori cukup baik; skor untuk sub topik mengutamakan kepentingan bersama, mempertahankan kekayaan alam Indonesia serta sikap samapta sebesar 93,3 pada kategori sangat baik; skor untuk sub topik mengapresiasi kekayaan budaya bangsa lain sebesar 27,9 pada kategori kurang baik; skor untuk sub topik sikap tegas sebesar 32,7 pada kategori kurang baik; skor untuk sub topik sikap penuh panggilan jiwa sebesar 64,4 pada kategori baik; skor untuk sub topik sikap kesepenuhhatian sebesar 67,35 pada kategori baik; skor untuk sub topik kemurahhatian sebesar 57,36 pada kategori cukup baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah rata-rata kompetensi memesona yang dimiliki calon pendidik hanya sebesar 59,08 %. Apabila hal ini dibiarkan, tidak hanya berdampak kepada pendidik saja tetapi juga berdampak kepada sulitnya guru untuk membersamai siswa di sekolah.

Abstract

In the world of education, mathematics is often considered the subject most feared and avoided by students, this happens because mathematics is abstract in nature so students have difficulty understanding the problems in mathematics. Apart from that, mathematics is considered difficult because it is related to numbers and formulas. This research was carried out in conjunction with field practice (PL) activities. In the PL activities carried out by researchers for approximately 4 months, researchers found many problems when teaching, one of which was students' mistakes in solving sequence and series questions. The aim of this research is to determine the level of students' understanding and difficulty with sequence and series material, so that it can be used as knowledge for teachers to improve the quality of learning in the future. This research is a qualitative descriptive study to examine the errors made by students in solving questions about sequences and series. The subjects of this research were 23 class X students of SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang. The error analysis used in this research uses the error analysis stages according to Newman. By conducting this research, students' level of understanding and difficulty in sequences and series.
