Abstract

The background to this research is the emergence of the Independent Curriculum which requires teachers to be able to implement TPACK in the learning process. Based on classroom experience, education students as prospective teachers are able to use technology, but are not yet accustomed to implementing TPACK in learning. The aim of this research is to analyze the level of TPACK ability in prospective mathematics teachers in West Sumatra. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a correlational approach. The research location for this activity is the mathematics education study program in the West Sumatra area. The population in this study were all students of the Mathematics Education Study Program spread across the West Sumatra campus. The data collection tool used in this research was a student questionnaire to observe TPACK abilities. The research results in the form of Technological Pedagogical Knowledge, Technological Content Knowledge, and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge have lower values, with the highest value being Technological Pedagogical Knowledge ( 81.38) and lowest on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (74.31). This shows that the integration of these three domains (technology, pedagogy, and content) requires more attention to improve understanding and skills. The conclusion of this research is that the average percentage of qualitative criteria for TPACK skills = 81.38 with very good criteria.   Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah munculnya Kurikulum Merdeka yang menuntut guru untuk mampu mengimplementasikan TPACK dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan pengalaman di kelas, mahasiswa Pendidikan sebagai calon guru mampu untuk menggunakan teknologi, tapi belum terbiasa mengimplemensikan TPACK dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kemampuan TPACK pada calon guru matematika di Sumatera Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Tempat penelitian dalam kegiatan ini adalah program studi pendidikan matematika yang ada di daerah Sumatera Barat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika yang tersebar di kampus Sumatera Barat. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar angket mahasiswa untuk mengamati kemampuan TPACK. Hasil penelitian berupa Pengetahuan Teknologi-Pedagogi (Technological Pedagogical Knowledge), Pengetahuan Teknologi-Konten (Technological Content Knowledge), dan Pengetahuan Teknologi-Pedagogi-Konten (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) memiliki nilai yang lebih rendah, dengan nilai tertinggi pada Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (81.38) dan terendah pada Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (74.31). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ketiga domain tersebut (teknologi, pedagogi, dan konten) memerlukan perhatian lebih untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Rata-rata persentase kriteria kualitatif kemampuan TPACK = 81,38 dengan kriteria sangat baik

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach in the application of differentiated learning. The aim of this research is to describe differentiated mathematics learning using the discovery learning model to increase student activity in the classroom in the learning process. This research was carried out in line with practical field experience carried out by researchers at SMP Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek. This research also aims to improve the current learning system where teachers still use conventional methods in learning. So that students' activeness in learning in class is not visible and students' understanding of mathematical concepts is low. The subjects of this research were students in class VIII-1. The choice of class VIII-1 was due to the characteristics of students with different abilities, in accordance with the objectives of implementing differentiated learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa yang mendorong siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Kecamatan Payakumbuh untuk belajar matematika, serta bagaimana model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual) mempengaruhi prestasi akademik siswa.Studi ini menggunakan desain eksperimental kuantitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan semua siswa kelas VII. Kelas VII 1 dipilih sebagai kelompok eksperimen menggunakan model SAVI dengan teknik sampling acak sederhana, dan kelas VII 2 dipilih sebagai kelompok kontrol. Metode pengajaran konvensional digunakan sebagai kelompok control. Menurut data, tcount (2.1379) lebih besar daripada ttable (1.6839) menunjukkan bahwa siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih tertarik untuk belajar daripada siswa di kelas kontrol. Siswa juga memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih baik di kelas eksperimen, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai rata-rata 84,21, yang merupakan kategori baik, dan hasil uji t mereka (2,618 lebih besar dari 1,6839). Akibatnya, ketika model pembelajaran SAVI diterapkan pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Kecamatan Payakumbuh, mereka menunjukkan tingkat motivasi yang lebih tinggi dan hasil belajar yang lebih baik dalam mata pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Hal disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih berpusat kepada guru sehingga siswa menjadi kurang terlibat aktif, serta banyakya siswa yang belum terbiasa mengerjakan soal-soal berbentuk soal esai. Salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah model pembelajaran Problem Posing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat model pembelajaran problem posing berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Baso. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pra-eksperimen dan rancangan The Static Group Comparison. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 104 siswa, dengan sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang mengacu pada indikator interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t setelah memenuhi uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan model problem posing lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem posing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa.

Abstract

Dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan adanya suatu bahan ajar yang mendukung proses pembelajaran, sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan peserta didik serta sesuai dengan syarat penyusunan bahan ajar yang sesungguhnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah produk Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada materi statistika yang diharapkan agar peserta didik lebih memahami materi statistika dan hasil belajar meningkat serta menghasilkan LKPD yang valid, praktis dan efektif yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII.2 MTsS PP Darul Falah. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model 4-D. Namun, karena adanya keterbatasan waktu, maka penelitian yang dikembangkan hanya terdiri dari tiga tahap (3-D) yaitu tahap pendefenisian (define), tahap perancangan (design) dan pengembangan (develop). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi yang dinilai oleh validator, lembar angket respon peserta didik dan tes hasil belajar setelah dilakukan pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh produk Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Pada Materi Statistika yang telah dirancang valid, praktis dan efektif. Tingkat kevalidan memiliki persentase 73,89% dengan kriteria valid, tingkat kepraktisan memiliki persentase 87,8% dengan kriteria sangat praktis dan tingkat keefektifan memiliki persentase 85% dengan kriteria efektif.

Abstract

Implementing teacher teaching training services for Islamic Religious Education and Islamic School teachers in the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs ranks in 2021 was carried out with a complete online scheme. Implementing in-service teaching training aims to produce professional educators with academic, professional, personal, and social competencies. The difference in participants' conditions, such as different areas, technology tools mastery, and infrastructure availability, became a challenge for LPTK organizers. The article aims to measure the effectiveness of implementing teacher teaching training services in a whole online scheme at LPTK of the State Islamic University of Bukittinggi in 2023. This evaluation research was conducted in LPTK of the State Islamic University of Bukittinggi in 2023. The sample was selected by purposive technique with the number of samples 416 teachers, consisting of 266 Islamic Religious Education teachers and 150 Islamic School teachers. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average paedagogic and professional competencies achievement score was 86.90 points, with a high interpretation of achievements. The implementation of teacher teaching training service in an entire online scheme at LPTK of the State Islamic University of Bukittinggi in 2023 has increased effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the mathematics learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at MTsS Yati Kamang Mudik. This research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental research type. The population in this study is all seventh-grade students of MTsS Yati Kamang Mudik, consisting of 2 classes with a total of 34 students. Class VII.1 was obtained as the experimental class and class VII.2 as the control class. In this regard, the research was conducted on two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. In the experimental class, the teaching and learning process was carried out by implementing Project Based Learning (PjBL), whereas in the control class, the teaching and learning process was carried out using conventional learning. The instrument used in this study was a mathematics learning outcomes test. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (t-test). The calculated t-test result was 1.867 with a table t-value of 1.693, so because the calculated t is greater than the table t, H0 is rejected. It is concluded that there is an effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on students' mathematics learning outcomes in class VII of MTsS Yati Kamang Mudik.

Abstract

In the world of education, mathematics is often considered the subject most feared and avoided by students, this happens because mathematics is abstract in nature so students have difficulty understanding the problems in mathematics. Apart from that, mathematics is considered difficult because it is related to numbers and formulas. This research was carried out in conjunction with field practice (PL) activities. In the PL activities carried out by researchers for approximately 4 months, researchers found many problems when teaching, one of which was students' mistakes in solving sequence and series questions. The aim of this research is to determine the level of students' understanding and difficulty with sequence and series material, so that it can be used as knowledge for teachers to improve the quality of learning in the future. This research is a qualitative descriptive study to examine the errors made by students in solving questions about sequences and series. The subjects of this research were 23 class X students of SMAN 1 Lembah Melintang. The error analysis used in this research uses the error analysis stages according to Newman. By conducting this research, students' level of understanding and difficulty in sequences and series.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing students' difficulties by looking at student mistakes in answering questions and writing literacy according to their own understanding abilities, then analyzing what factors caused students to make mistakes in solving transformation material questions. The research method used is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 31 students of class XI MIPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Kapur IX District who had studied transformation material including Translation, Reflection, Rotation and Dilation. From the results of the tests given, the most frequent errors were 23% or only 7 students who answered correctly in the dilation submaterial. The fewest errors occurred in the translation submaterial, namely 35% or as many as 11 students who answered correctly. Overall, the errors of class XI MIPA 2 students are dominant in the form of errors in using formulas so that many formulas are used backwards and forwards and they are not proficient in multiplying in matrix form which is caused by an inactive or only teacher-centered learning method, and also a lack of effort. done in working on the questions given, not careful and in a hurry in solving the questions given.
