Abstract

Rapid advancements in technology related to the fourth industrial revolution have transformed the way financial transactions are conducted, shifting from conventional cash methods to digital finance, also known as fintech. Despite this shift, the adoption of fintech is inconsistent, especially among students, who are an important group for promoting financial inclusion and literacy. This study aims to fill the existing gap by investigating the specific elements that influence fintech adoption among Economics Education students in Java, using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as a framework. An explanatory quantitative investigation involving 350 students from three accredited universities shows that attitudes, social factors, and digital financial literacy play an important role in shaping students' intentions to use fintech. Importantly, digital financial literacy stands out as a crucial element, both directly and indirectly encouraging responsible financial practices and the adoption of fintech. The originality of this research lies in its examination of the relationship between education and the use of fintech, emphasizing the importance of digital financial literacy in influencing students' financial actions in an increasingly digital economy.

Abstract

The 21st century is a century where science and technology develop very quickly and sophisticatedly, therefore in the development of the 21st century, teachers must be able to utilize technology in learning which can form a creative, innovative, and competitive generation. This research aims to test the validity and reliability of the e-module based on expert assessment, test the e-module in improving student learning outcomes, and analyze the improvement of student learning outcomes regarding the use of the e-module. This research model applied ADDIE. The subjects of this research were 35 students of XI grade students in culinary program at SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. The research results showed that the Android-based e-module considered feasible by media experts and material experts with CVR results > 0.75. The use of e-modules in learning depicted an improvement in learning outcomes through the results of the t-test and N-gain test of 76.25%. Based on these results, Android-based e-modules were effectively applied in the learning process to improve student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the practicality test of e-modules portrayed the percentage of user responses from teachers and students gained 85% and 82% so the e-module learning media was categorized as very practical to use in the learning process. Based on the research results, e-module developed had been declared feasible, practical, and effective to use in processing and serving appetizer dishes learning and could improve student learning outcomes.

The aims of this study were 1) to find out the mechanism for implementing healthy food at the Muslimat NU Puton Kindergarten in Pekalongan. 2) To find out the criteria for providing healthy food at the Muslimat NU Puton Kindergarten in Pekalongan. 3) To find out the extent of achievement in implementing healthy food at the Muslimat NU Puton Kindergarten in Pekalongan. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results showed that 1) The implementation of healthy food for young children in Muslimat Kindergarten NU Puton Pekalongan is given once a week which is held every Thursday at 10.00 WIB for lunch for children after carrying out learning and playing activities, the menu given every week is different Different, namely in the form of healthy snacks/snacks and main meals so that children don't get bored of receiving healthy food at school. 2) The criteria for providing healthy food to children at the Muslimat NU Puton Pekalongan Kindergarten have not been fully implemented in accordance with the existing criteria, the criteria that have not been implemented are that in the process of making food for cooks they have not used personal protective equipment (PPE) and the food ingredients used have not been fully using local ingredients. 3) The achievement of implementing healthy food at the Muslimat NU Puton Kindergarten in Pekalongan seen from the aspect of increasing children's development according to their age stages, increasing children's weight and height, as well as parental involvement in parenting activities can be said to be successful.

Abstract

Synthesis and Characterization of LaF3:Ce Scintillator Material.Synthesis and characterization of the LaF3:Ce scintillator have been carried out. Synthesis was carried out using the co-precipitation method. In this study, the raw materials used were NaF, LaCl3•7H2O, and Ce(NO3)3•6H2O with ethanol and distilled water as a solvent; while surfactants were used oleic acid. In this study, the compound LaF3:0.2Ce was synthesized. The sample was characterized by using an X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD), a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and a Spectrofluorometer. The analyzed data showed that the 82.6 weight fraction of LaF3:0.2Ce phase has precipitated accompanied by the formation of NaCl and C2Ce phases of 5.1 and 12.3 weight fraction, respectively. The NaCl phase is a by-product of the chemical reaction: xLaCl3•7H2O + zCeCl3•7H2O + 3NaF → LaxCezF3 + 3NaCl + 7H2O which could be removed from the precipitate solution by an appropriate separation method, while the C2Ce one appeared as a result of heating the sample at 400ºC. The LaF3:Ce scintillator sample shows the phenomenon of a bluish glow with a lifetime, t = 6 × 10-10 seconds even in the presence of a foreign phase. The existence of NaCl and C2Ce as a local environment still makes LaF3:0.2Ce has normal lifetime characteristics.

Abstract

This research aims at examining the influence of some variables i.e. current performance, after initiation performance, maturity, capital structure, and ownership structure, on sustainability of dividend initiation policy, and also the influence of sustainability of dividend initiation policy itself on its consequence variable i.e. stock performance. This research was conducted to sample firms consisting of 180 going public firms listed at Jakarta Stock Exchange and involving financial data which all belongs to kind of secondary data. Using Structural Equation Model (SEM) for data analysis and hypothesis testing, this research has found significant influence from after initiation performance, the only variable among four antecedent variables being examined, to sustainability of dividend initiation policy, and there is also found significant influence from sustainability of dividend initiation policy to its consequence variable i.e. stock performance. In a whole, findings of this research indicate that while signaling model of dividend is proven to be credible in explaining dividend initiation policy behavior among Indonesian going-public firms, agency cost model is not, particularly pertaining to monitoring rationale proposition (Easterbrook, 1984) and maturity proposition (Grullon, 2001). Finally, the existence of difference between finding of this research and those of ones conducted in advanced market context, basically provides supporting evidence on Frankfutter & Wood's argument stating that dividend policy is contextual in nature.
