Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to improve the skills of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in Rasau Jaya District in designing new media-based learning media. This program is motivated by the rapid development of digital technology and the low utilization of new media by PAI teachers. Method: The research method used is the Community-Based Research (CBR) Method in its implementation using training, mentoring, and evaluation. The target of PAI teacher service is 35 teachers from the Education Office and madrasahs in Rasau Jaya District. The implementation of activities is carried out in stages, starting from identifying teacher needs, training in new media-based media design, to mentoring in making learning media. Result: The results of this research show that there is a significant increase in the understanding of digital technology, which initially had an average score of 50.05 after participating in the training, increasing to 90. In terms of skills in making learning media based on the Canva Application, it has been proven to produce good power point products in terms of design, content and visual appearance according to the informant. The average teacher power point result was 80.00, the average learning video making result was 75.00 and the average learning game making result was 76.00. This training was very effective in improving teachers' understanding and skills in using new media for learning. This effectiveness can be seen from the significant increase in pre-test to post-test scores, participant enthusiasm, and satisfactory technology-based learning product results. The uniqueness of the research is the existence of a more specific picture of the challenges and solutions based on local context in the application of modern learning media. Conclusion: As well as showing the importance of collaboration between teachers, academics, and the education community in developing teacher professional capacity holistically.

Abstract

Al-Kindi, dikenal sebagai Bapak Filsafat Arab, merupakan pionir dalam integrasi pemikiran filsafat Yunani dengan ajaran Islam pada abad ke-9 M. Ia menjadi tokoh penting yang menjembatani antara tradisi intelektual Yunani dan nilai-nilai keislaman, terutama dalam mengembangkan pemikiran rasional yang tetap berakar pada wahyu. Namun, dalam konteks pendidikan Islam di Indonesia yang plural dan multikultural, riset mengenai kontribusi pemikiran Al-Kindi terhadap pembentukan moral dan pengembangan karakter peserta didik masih sangat minim. Gap penelitian ini terletak pada kurangnya eksplorasi mendalam tentang bagaimana pendekatan rasional dan integratif Al-Kindi dapat diadopsi untuk menjawab tantangan pendidikan moral di tengah masyarakat yang majemuk, khususnya dalam membangun sikap toleransi, berpikir kritis, keterbukaan, dan karakter inklusif yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebaruan kontribusi pemikiran Al-Kindi dalam pendidikan moral Islam, dengan menyoroti integrasi antara ilmu dan agama, serta relevansinya dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik di lingkungan masyarakat plural Indonesia saat ini. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustaka terhadap karya-karya Al-Kindi dan kajian akademik terkait, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Al-Kindi menempatkan filsafat sebagai sarana menemukan kebenaran melalui rasionalitas dan akal, tanpa menegasikan nilai-nilai wahyu sebagai sumber kebenaran hakiki. Kebaruannya terletak pada gagasan bahwa ilmu pengetahuan dan agama dapat berjalan seiring dan saling memperkuat. Dengan demikian, pendidikan Islam yang berlandaskan pada pemikiran Al-Kindi tidak hanya menghasilkan generasi yang cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga berakhlak mulia, toleran, terbuka terhadap perbedaan, dan adaptif terhadap dinamika sosial budaya serta perkembangan zaman. Dalam konteks masyarakat plural, pemikiran Al-Kindi mendorong pengembangan kurikulum dan metode pembelajaran yang menekankan nilai-nilai toleransi, dialog terbuka, dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, sehingga dapat membentuk masyarakat yang harmonis, inklusif, dan berkeadilan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the motivation, activities, and learning outcomes of students, as well as the influence of motivation on learning activities and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at SMP Negeri 2 Galing. The research method uses descriptive quantitative research. The subjects of this study were students in grades VIII A and B at SMP Negeri 2 Galing. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used, namely, validity test, reliability test, normality test and simple linear regression test. The results of the study showed: (1) student learning motivation is included in the very good category; (2) learning activities are included in the good category; (3) learning outcomes are included in the good category; and (4) the influence of learning motivation on learning activities and outcomes is included in the high category. The influence of learning motivation on students' learning activities obtained F count of 335.342 with a significance level of 0.000 0.05, and a percentage level of 89.9%, while the influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes obtained F count of 601.979 with a significance level of 0.000 0.05, and a percentage level of 94.1%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah. Langkah penelitian ini meliputi pengumpulan data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas I-V SD Negeri 2 Mojosari, Kecamatan Mojotengah, Kabupaten Wonosobo. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama empat bulan yang terbagi menjadi dua siklus. Hasil siklus I menujukkan nilai kedisiplinan guru dalma pembelajaran mencapai 74.23%. Masih terdapat 3 indikator kedisiplinan guru yang berlum tercapai pada siklus I yaitu indicator presensi, persiapan media pembelajaran, dan memulai pembelajaran tepat waktu. Sedangkan hasil siklus II menunjukkan nilai kedisiplinan guru dalam pembelajaran mencapai 81.54%. Semua indicator sudah memenuhi nilai atau dalam kategori baik. Dengan demikian, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebesar 7.31%. Peningkatan yang signifikan terjadi karena melalui coaching, guru lebih berani mengutarakan permasalahan yang dihadapi, lebih terbuka untuk mengenal kekurangan dan potensi yang dimiliki, dan mampu mengambil solusi untuk memperbaiki kekurangan pada diri guru. Guru mampu membuat pilihan-pilihan tindakan atas permasalahan yang dihadapi dan mampu membuat pilihan pendukung peningkatan kedisiplinan dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, supervisi akademik teknik coaching dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan guru dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Islamic Education becomes an important subject in maintaining moral and character. This study aims to see the extent to which internalization of the students’ scientific attitude in Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) through Islamic Education. The qualitative approach is used in this research. The data was collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The data was then analyzed to see how the process of the internalization of the scientific attitude works. Based on the result of the study, it is found that the process of scientific attitude internalization carried out through scientific approach, especially in the Qur'an Hadith subject, has formed a critical and democratic attitude. The Fiqh subject forms discipline and responsibility. The Islamic cultural history subject forms an open-minded and critical attitude. Meanwhile, learning Aqidah Akhlak forms honesty, discipline, and democratic attitudes. The implication of this research lies in the strengthening the Islamic education teachers’ understanding in shaping the students’ scientific attitude, so that the students can face contemporary religious problems critically, democratically, and responsibly and become part of the solution for modern Muslim societies.

Abstract

Being honest is an important part of achieving success in life in the world and in the hereafter, therefore forming an honest attitude in students from an early age is a priority in noble character education. The purpose of this research is to analyze the internalization process of honest attitude in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Mas'udi Pontianak. This study used a qualitative approach, the data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study found that the first internalization of an honest attitude in students begins with providing an understanding of the importance of being honest in life. Educators must provide consistent examples and practices to demonstrate the value and benefits of being honest. Second, the internalization of honest attitude is carried out through three ways that have been consistently carried out, namely through the wise advice method, through the honesty canteen and a series of worship activities at the madrasa. This research provides a clear concept in the process of internalizing honest behavior which is an indicator of strengthening human integrity in social life.

Abstract

This study discusses efforts to develop religious attitudes among students which are always important to be carried out by institutions through Student activity units independently so that their potential as leaders is honed based on moderate Islamic religious values. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about: 1) program activities designed by the commander and staff in shaping the religious character of the members of the MENWA. 2) challenges faced in implementing program activities in shaping the religious character of members of the Mahapura student regiment. The research approach was qualitative, the data source of this study consisted of primary data sources of menwa and secondary leaders (Menwa members), Mahapura IAIN Pontianak. This study found a program of religious development activities namely, Yasisnan and Tahlilan, Khataman al-Quran, and social care: Menwa Sharing through fundraising, the two challenges faced in developing religious attitudes are forgiving excessive self-weakness, lack of interest in religion, and lack of interest in religion. Sense of responsibility due to feeling tired after participating in activities on campus. Abstract

This research aims to uncover the role of the Miftahul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in building cross-cultural solidarity in border areas. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that pesantren not only functions as an institution of religious teaching, but also as a strategic center for social reconstruction that encourages the creation of intercultural harmony. Islamic boarding schools create learning spaces that are responsive to social dynamics, develop a curriculum based on the values of fairness and openness, and involve students in various social, cultural, and religious activities with the community. The leadership of kiai and teachers plays an important role in internalizing the values of tolerance, peace, and inclusivity that make students agents of peace and social stability. These findings also identify the challenges and opportunities faced by Islamic boarding schools, especially in establishing cooperation across religions, customs, and social institutions. This research confirms that Islamic values can be a solid foundation for the formation of cross-cultural solidarity while strengthening social cohesion in border areas.

Abstract

This study investigates the transmission of local Islamic texts used in West Kalimantan (Borneo, Indonesia) for Islamic religious education during the 20th century. It addresses a research gap concerning how Islamic knowledge was disseminated through printed works by local scholars. The research adopts a qualitative historical approach, employing content analysis through comprehensive reading, categorization, interpretation, and synthesis of primary sources. The findings reveal that Islamic educational materials in Borneo encompassed texts on theology (‘aqīdah, usūl al-dīn), jurisprudence (fiqh), history, and Qur’anic studies (‘ulūm al-Qur’ān), distributed via both commercial transactions and gifts by peers, religious officials, and sales agents. The study concludes that these transmission networks extended to neighboring Islamic sultanates and even reached Brunei Darussalam. Furthermore, these networks significantly influenced the development of educational institutions that integrated Islamic religious sciences with Western knowledge. The epistemology of Islamic education in Kalimantan was not merely a preserved tradition but a modern system open to knowledge, enabling the transmission of Islamic knowledge beyond formal institutions into broader society. This research makes an essential contribution to the development of Islamic education and the mapping of Islamic scholarship networks in the archipelago.

Abstract

Differentiation of learning is an old program in the world of education in Indonesia, but its application is still very new, so there are only a few schools that apply it. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq Jl. Parit Jaya Sui Raya Kubu Raya, which has been implementing a differentiated learning system for one year. However, in its implementation, there are still some problems. In this study, the researchers aimed to find out how the implementation of differentiated learning for class teachers in grade 3 of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq Jl. Parit Jaya Sui Raya Kubu Raya and what factors became obstacles to its implementation. Researchers use a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Based on this research, the results obtained were that the steps in implementing differentiated learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq were taken through mapping, planning, and evaluation. The role of the head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq has also been quite good, which is marked by collaboration with parents, committees and the Ministry of Religion, support for learning resources, and provision of facilities and infrastructure. The main thing that becomes an obstacle to differentiated learning at Madarsah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq is the ability of teachers who are still minimal in understanding differentiated learning considering they still lack experience.
