Abstract

Gadgets, as modern communication tools, are making interactions between people easier. Nowadays, the development in communication has progressed rapidly with the presence of smartphones such as iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and notebook. However, in the context of early childhood developmental psychology (0-6 years), the use of gadgets can affect their social aspects. Gadgets can have both positive and negative effects on children's social and emotional development. Excessive use of gadgets can have adverse effects, such as making children more introverted, experiencing sleep disturbances, preferring to be alone, exhibiting aggressive behaviour, decreased creativity, and increased risk of cyberbullying. To overcome these negative impacts, some solutions that can be implemented include limiting the time of gadget use, parental supervision when children play gadgets, and setting an appropriate schedule so that gadget use does not interfere with early childhood social development. With this approach, it is hoped that the negative impact of gadget use can be minimised and children's social development maintained.

Abstract

The poverty level in Southwest Papua, especially in the city and district of Sorong, is much higher than other areas in Southwest Papua, so small and medium enterprises (SMEs) owned by indigenous Papuans play an essential role as economic drivers. The urgency of this research is to develop indigenous Papuan businesses, which have been challenging to grow, so they must know what factors are needed to create. Several factors influence business development: capital, skills and knowledge, market access, and government support. To compete with developing Orang Asli Papua (OAP) businesses, they will be able to compete with non-OAP businesses and overcome poverty in Southwest Papua Province. This research uses the Fault Tree Analysis method to analyze the factors that influence the development of OAP SMEs. The research results show that six priorities are the main factors for developing SMEs: Education and Training, Networks and Connections, Capital Assistance, Marketing Skills, infrastructure and the role of government.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises (MSMEs) play an essential role in the Indonesian economy, contributing 61.97% to GDP and absorbing 97% of the workforce. However, MSME production also impacts environmental pollution due to limited knowledge and technology. This study aims to identify performance measurement indicators and develop a measurement model combining Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) and Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR). This model focuses on integrating environmental aspects in the supply chain to reduce negative impacts during the product life cycle. This research method combines GSCM and SCOR which include processes (plan, source, make, delivery, return, waste), to produce performance measurements. The study results can provide recommendations for the government and MSME actors, especially in Sorong, in managing the supply chain sustainably and minimizing environmental impacts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of raw material inventory. This research will be carried out at UMKM Blessings Fillet Jalan Victory km 10. The Min Max method, the Min–Max method is a method of controlling raw materials based on the assumption that if the inventory has passed the minimum limits and is approaching the limit of the Safety Stock or the limit of the safety stock. , then Reorder or reorder raw materials. The maximum and minimum inventories, respectively, for anchovy ingredients obtained were 1,583,2 kg and 1,030 kg, respectively. And from the data obtained in the results of this research at the UMKM Berkah villet, there is a large supply of raw materials using a min-max of 553.2 Kg.

Abstract

BPR or business process reengineering is a process to achieve radical improvements in terms of time, quality, rewards, and of course costs by simultaneously redesigning processes, organizations, and information systems. In this study, IT/technology and HR factors (human resources) are used in re-engineering public facilities assisted by expert systems to create efficiency and effectiveness and increase value. The main factor used in this study is the management system, especially for making changes to the organizational structure, improving the administration system, and Relationship Management. The model suitability test in this report uses several criteria, including Chi-Square, GFI, AGFI, and RMSEA. Although the final model obtained a high Chi-square value (13.157) with a probability of zero, because several other criteria were met with an AGFI value above 0.9 and an RMSEA value below 0.08, the model is considered suitable. Based on the model output, it is known that not all antecedent variables have a significant influence on the consequent variables. Likewise, not all hypotheses are accepted. All antecedent variables cannot explain the consequent variables because the R2 value is less than 0.5.

Abstract

Abstract

Increasingly competitive industrial conditions necessitate that companies maintain high product quality to remain competitive. One of the challenges frequently faced by the manufacturing industry is high levels of product productivity, which can impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This study specifically examines the issue of product defects in the car seat production process at PT. ABC. Despite implementing a quality control system, a significant number of product defects were still found. The study used a quantitative approach using Statistical Quality Control (SQC) methods, specifically p-charts, to analyze production and defect data over 16 days. The analysis showed that the proportion of defects varied significantly, with the highest value reaching 55.17% and the lowest at 5.13%. The control chart showed data points approaching the upper control limit, indicating the process was not yet fully stable. Fishbone analysis identified the main causes of defects, including human factors, work methods, raw materials, and machines. Comprehensive improvements to the work system and joint control are needed to increase production process stability and sustainably reduce defect rates.
