Abstract

The problem of this research was how the setting in the novel of Sunset Bersama Rosie written by Tere Liye. Based on that, the purpose of this research was to describe the setting and its implication to the literature learning at the Senior High School. To gain the purpose, the researcher used qualitative descriptive method. The source of data was Sunset Bersama Rosie novel written by Tere Liye. The Research location showed that the place setting revolved clearly and detailed. So do the times setting that is revolved concretely. Meanwhile the social setting of the characters is described through the social status of the characters. All of the results above can be applied to the literature learning at the Senior High School.Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah latar dalam novel Sunset Bersama Rosie karya Tere liye. Sehubungan dengan itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan hal dimaksud serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Sunset Bersama Rosie karya Tere Liye. Temuan penelitian menunjukan latar tempat diungkapkan dengan jelas dan rinci. Demikian pula dengan latar waktu yang diungkapkan secara kongkret. Sedangkan latar sosial digambarkan melalui status sosial para tokoh. Temuan-temuan tersebut dapat diimplikasikan pada pembelajaran sastra di SMA.Kata kunci: implikasi bahan ajar, latar, novel.

Abstract

The problem of this research was how learning writing short story in the class VII SMPN 13 Bandar Lampung 2014/2015 academic year. This research was aimed at describing learning writing short story. The method which was used in this research was descriptive qualitative. Then, the researcher used observation, interview, and documentation as the techniques of this research. Learning writing short story was the resource of this research. The result showed that the teacher had done three steps, there were planning, implementation and assessment. The lesson planning was arranged by the teacher based on curriculum 2013. There were pre-activity, while activity, and post activity as the implementation which used scientific approach such as observing, asking, practicing, associating, communicating. The assessment of the learning process consisted of assassing competence, affective, knowledge, and skill.Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimanakah pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek pada kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran menulis teks cerita pendek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melakukan tiga tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian. Perencanaan pembelajaran dibuat guru berdasarkan komponen RPP pada kurikulum 2013. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan guru dan siswa yang mencakup kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup yang dikaitkan dengan pendekatan scientific yaitu mengamati, menanya, mencoba, mengasosiasi, dan mengkomunikasikan. Penilaian yang dilakukan guru mencakup penilaian kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan.Kata kunci: menulis, pembelajaran, teks cerita pendek.

Abstract

The problem has been discussed in this research is students’ short stories appreciation learning at second grade of SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung year 2012/2013. The objective of this research is to describe learning as planning activation, and scoring process. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data source in this research is Lesson Planning (RPP), the learning process (teachers’ activity in teaching and students’ activity in learning), and scoring. The result shows that lesson planning that has been designed by teacher is based on standard of Lesson Plan. The teaching process is a teacher’s activity in teaching and students’ activity in learning. Teacher’s skill in explaining the using of learning media, strategy/ method used by the teacher is based on SK/KD of indicator and learning objective. Students’ learning activities are including oral activity, written activity, listening activity, mental activity and emotional activity in short story appreciation learning. The teacher scores the students’ result in appreciating short stories by using Test technique. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that students’ short stories appreciation learning at second grade of SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung year 2012/2013 are lesson planning process, learning activation, and scoring/ learning evaluation.Keywords: activation, learning, planning, scoring

Abstract

The problem in this research was how the ability to write exposition text through audio visual media in grade VII at SMPN 1 Seputih Mataram. The method used was a combination of qualitative quantitative methods. Techniques of data collection were done through observation, interviews, documentation, and testing. The test results were analyzed and assessed based on the completeness of the text structure of exposition, according to structure text, characteristics of exposition text, and language. Results of media utilization indicated that teacher had not been trained using of audio visual media. The results of the research showed that students' ability in writing exposition text through audio visual media was in the good category with the percentage of 73.4%.Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi melalui media audio visual siswa kelas VII di SMPN 1 Seputih Mataram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kombinasi kualitatif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil tes dianalisis dan dinilai berdasarkan kelengkapan struktur teks eksposisi, kesesuaian struktur teks, Ciri-ciri teks eksposisi, dan kebahasaan. Hasil pemanfaatan media menunjukkan bahwa guru belum terampil dalam menggunakan media audio visual. Hasil penelitian kemampuan siswa menulis teks eksposisi melalui pemanfaatan media audio visual berada pada kategori Baik dengan persentase 73,4%. Kata kunci: kemampuan menulis, media audio visual, teks eksposisi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the use of deixist in 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa novel with Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra as the authors and its implications for learning Indonesian language at SMA. The source of data was 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa novel with Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra as the authors. This research used qualitative descriptive method. In this research it was found exophor and endophor. Exophor data can be personal deixist, room deixist, and time deixist. Personal deixist is divided into three, namely the first person, second person, and the third person. Then endophor deixist is divided into anaphor and cataphor. The deixist study in this research has implications for learning Indonesian language in SMA class X, on writing anecdotes text as teaching materials.Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pemakaian deiksis dalam novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Di dalam penelitian ditemukan data eksofora dan endofora. Data eksofora berupa deiksis persona, deiksis ruang, dan deiksis waktu. Deiksis persona terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu persona pertama, persona kedua, dan persona ketiga. Kemudian deiksis endofora yang terbagi menjadi anafora dan katafora Kajian deiksis dalam penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA kelas X, pada pembelajaran menulis materi teks anekdot sebagai bahan ajar.Kata kunci: deiksis, pembagian deiksis, implikasi bahan ajar.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out the comparison between the result study of reading comprehension through POINT strategy and SQ3R strategy. the improvement of reading ability in the experiment class can be seen from the average score of the pre test that is 62 and post test that is 82,37 so it is 20,37. diffrence improvement of reading ability in the control can be seen from the average score of pre test that is 64,17 and post test that is 78,3. So there is difference 14,13 from those two test. The ability of reading comprehension in the first test in the experiment class and control get the difference score 2,17 from the average score between experiment that is 62 and control 64,17. Ability of reading comprehension in the last in the experiment and control get difference score 4,07 ,the average score between experiment 82,37 and control 78,3Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar membaca pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan strategi POINT strategi SQ3R. Peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman di kelas eksperimen dilihat rata-rata-rata skor pretes yaitu 62 dan postes yaitu 82,37 maka diperoleh selisih 20,37. Peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman di kelas kontrol dilihat dari rata-rata skor pretes yaitu 64,17 dan postes yaitu 78,3, maka diperoleh selisih 14,13 dari kedua tes tersebut. Kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada tes awal di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol memperoleh selisih skor 2,17 dari rata-rata skor antara eksperimen yaitu 62 dan kontrol yaitu 64,17. Kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada tes akhir di eksperimen dan kontrol memperoleh selisih skor 4,07 dari rata-rata skor antara eksperimen 82,37 dan kontrol yaitu 78,3.Kata kunci: kemampuan membaca, perbandingan, strategi.

Abstract

In this research discussed about the children use the context in speech act. The purpose of this research is to describe about the children using the context in speech act. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive method. The source of this research is speech act with use context from children seven years old namely is Dinda Bintang Wahyu Adhira. Based on the result of data analysis, is found that the context of children used such as time context, place, event, condition, people, age, and weather. The use of speech act in the children are direct speech act and direct speech act with the reason. In another hand indirect speech act of the children they use the modes, like indirect speech act with the fact, habitually, questioning, giving information, griped, the third person, and explaining the lack.Penelitian ini membahas tentang pendayagunaan konteks dalam tindak tutur anak usia tujuh tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pendayagunaan konteks dalam tindak tutur anak usia tujuh tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah pendayagunaan konteks dalam tindak tutur anak usia tujuh tahun bernama Dinda Bintang Wahyu Adhira. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, ditemukan konteks yang didayagunakan oleh anak meliputi konteks waktu, konteks tempat, konteks peristiwa, konteks susasana, konteks orang sekitar, konteks umur, dan juga konteks cuaca. Bentuk tindak tutur langsung yang digunakan anak adalah tindak tutur langsung pada sasaran dan tindak tutur langsung dengan alasan. Sedangkan tindak tutur tidak langsung yang digunakan anak memanfaatkan modus-modus, antara lain tindak tutur tidak langsung dengan modus menyatakan fakta, menyatakan kebiasaan, bertanya, memberi informasi, mengeluh, memanfaatkan orang ketiga dan menyatakan kekurangan.Kata kunci: anak, konteks, tindak tutur.

Abstract

The research problem in this research is how to write poetry in second class high school in SMP PGRI Pejambon Pesawaran 2012/2013. The objective of research is to describe the learning poetry writing class in second grade of junior high school of SMP PGRI Pejambon Pesawaran in 2012/2013. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The scope of research is teaching learning process between the teacher and the students in bahasa subject. The researcher chooses VIII A class of SMP PGRI Pejambon Pesawaran Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 which has 32 students as the sample. This research result is only focus on how to write poetry as teacher and students’ activity in class. In learning process, teacher had done three main steps that are pre-activity, while activity and closing. In students’ activity, there are five main activities in learning how to write a poetry i.e. oral activity, listening, writing, mental and emotional activities.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP PGRI Pejambon Pesawaran tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Pembelajaran Menulis Puisi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP PGRI Pejambon Pesawaran Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah kegiatan pembelajaran antara guru bidang studi bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas VIII A SMP PGRI Pejambon Pesawaran Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP PGRI Pejambon Pesawaran difokuskan pada satu komponen yaitu pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis puisi berupa aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa di dalam kelas. Pada proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru telah melaksanakan tiga kegiatan, yaitu kegiatan pra pembelajaran (awal), kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Pada aktivitas siswa terdapat lima aktivitas dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menulis puisi,yaitu aktivitas lisan, aktivitas mendengarkan, aktivitas menulis, aktivitas mental, dan aktivas emosi.Kata kunci: menulis, puisi, siswa.

Abstract

The research problem is how the teaching media is utilized in the learning of composing the expository text at the VII grade SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu. The aim of this research is to describe the teaching media utilized in the learning of composing the expository text at the VII grade of SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu. This research uses qualitative descriptive as the methodology of the research, in collecting the data is using of reduction data, showing data, and verification. The result of this research shows that in the teaching composing the exposition text, teacher utilizes audio visual media and media from book by applying scientific approach through monitoring, asking, understanding, trying and communicating.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pemanfaatan media dalam pembelajaran menyusun teks eskposisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media dalam menyusun teks eksposisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan perekaman.Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam membelajarkan menyusun teks eksposisi, guru memanfaatkan media audio visual dan media cetak dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik melalui kegiatan mengamati, menanya, menalar, mencoba, dan mengomunikasikan.Kata kunci: media, pendekatan, teks eksposisi.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the ability of summarizing news through the using of audiovisual media at the first grade of SMAN 1 Seputih Banyak in Academic year of 2011/2012. This research uses descriptive method. Population in this research is all students in the first grade of SMAN 1 Seputih Banyak in academic year 2011/2012. It consists of 244 students spreader in eight classes. The sample is taken about 15% from the number of each class so it is gotten 36 students. The collecting data is conducted by test technique. The conclusion is the ability of summarizing news through the using of audiovisual media at the first grade of SMAN 1 Seputih Banyak in Academic year of 2011/2012 belong to good criteria in which the average score is 72, 10. It is significant if it is compared by the research is conducting that is the students are active in doing sequences activities which is suitable to the purpose of the research.Key Word : Ability, summarizing, news, audiovisual media.
