Abstract

Penelitian pengamatan ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan pada situasi belajar dan fakta hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS yang berada di bawah standar nilai rata-rata dan ketuntasan hasil belajar yang ditetapkan, yakni hanya 5,8 dengan 15% jumlah siswa yang tuntas. Selaras dengan masalah tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS yang ditematikkan dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode proyek. Pada hasil penelitian ditemukan data bahwa metode proyek telah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik IPS dan bahasa Indonesia di kelas II SD. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada data awal hanya 5,8, tetapi setelah dilakukannya tindakan oleh guru kelas pada Siklus I, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sudah naik menjadi 6,6 dengan ketuntasan 35%. Setelah dilakukannya tindakan di Siklus II oleh guru kelas, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa naik lebih tinggi menjadi 8,1 ketuntasan belajar sebanyak 100%. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan hasil amatan terhadap tindakan yang dilakukan guru kelas dalam pembelajaran IPS dan bahasa Indonesia melalui pendekatan tematik dengan menggunakan metode proyek ini, nilai hasil belajar siswa yang sebelumnya hanya 5,8 dapat ditingkatkan menjadi menjadi 8,1.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unsur representasi, misrepresentasi, marjinalisasi, dan delegitimasi dalam teks wacana cerpen Cinta Laki-laki Biasa karya Asma Nadia. Guna mencapai tujuan tersebut analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan ancangan analisis wacana kritis model Foucault yang mencakupi unsur: (1) Representasi; (2) Misrepresentasi; (3) Marjinalisasi;  dan (4) Delegitimasi. Ideologi yang direfleksikan pengarang dalam teks wacana cerpen yang ditulisnya diidentifikasi untuk menemukan keempat unsur model wacana Foucault tersebut, sehingga dapat diketahui ide, gagasan, sudut pandang, dan sikap apa yang ingin disampaikan penulis cerpen kepada pembacanya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan ancangan analisis wacana kritis yang menggunakan metode konten analisis (contents analysis). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik konten analisis data terhadap data hasil penelitian berupa teks penggalan wacana cerpen Cinta Laki-laki Biasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya unsur representasi; misrepresentasi yang mencakupi ekskomunikasi dan eksklusi; marjinalisasi yang mencakupi eufemisme, disfemisme, labelisasi, dan stereotip;  dan delegitimasi.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of the direct instruction (DI) learning model in improving the competence of classroom teachers in SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut Palangka Raya by applying language teaching method in the design of Integrated Thematic Lesson Plan for Indonesian Language Learning Focus. Eleven class teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut were selected as the sample of this research using a purposive sampling technique which was taken from the total population. This research used a quantitative method using an experimental design named one group pretest-posttest design. From the results of the analysis of two related sample statistical test, it can be concluded that the result of this study showed the DI learning model is effective to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in applying the language teaching method. Keywords: direct instruction models, teacher, primary school, language teaching methods Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keefektifan penggunaan model pembelajaran direct instruction (DI) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru kelas di SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut dengan mengaplikasikan metode pengajaran bahasa pada rancangan RPP Tematik Terpadu Fokus Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Sebelas orang guru kelas di SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut Palangkaraya sebagai sampelnya yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dari jumlah populasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan model desain eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design. Dari hasil analisis uji statistik dua sampel berkorelasi (two related sample), dapat disimpulkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa model pembelajaran DI efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam mengaplikasikan metode pengajaran bahasa.Kata kunci: model direct instruction, guru, sekolah dasar, metode pengajaran bahasa

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad-21 menyajikan banyak tantangan bagi kompetensi guru bahasa, tak terkecuali guru kelas yang juga mengajarkan bahasa untuk dapat mewujudkan pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia yang efektif di SD/MI. Kompetensi guru kelas di era digital pembelajaran abad-21 ini tak hanya dituntut untuk mampu mengaplikasikan pengetahuan teknologinya, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikan pengetahuan pedagogiknya dalam kelas yang diampunya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan acuan pustaka kepada guru kelas dalam usahanya menguasai dan mengaplikasikan metode pengajaran bahasa pada pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di SD/MI sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi standar salah satu kompetensi pedagogik guru kelas dalam mata pelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di SD/MI. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis studi pustaka (Library Research) yang dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode sembilan langkah dalam proses penelitian studi pustaka model Mary W. George. Hasil penelitian ini menyajikan secara deskriptif sepuluh metode utama pengajaran bahasa yang dikembangkan oleh Tarigan (2011) yang dapat dijadikan pustaka acuan bagi guru kelas untuk menguasai dan mengaplikasikan metode pengajaran bahasa dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di SD/MI sesuai dengan kelas yang diampunya.

Abstract

Abstract The Effectiveness of Language Politeness and Cooperativeness-Based Online Learning Model in The Indonesian Language Lecture. In general, the online learning model in the implementation of lectures during the 2019 corona virus disease (Covid-19) pandemic is more focused on the use of digital learning strategies or application devices which are used as learning media. In fact, effective communication strategies in lecture activities should also receive special attention. The use of polite and cooperative language in the communication is one of the factors supporting the success of the online lecture process. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of language politeness and cooperativeness-based online learning model in the Indonesian Language Lecture at the PGSD Study Program. The effectiveness is measured by the level of student learning outcomes throughout the lecture. As many as 40 students of the fourth semester of the 2019/2020 academic year were used as the data source in the implementation of this research. The research method used was the R&D method with one-group pretest-posttest design which was carried out in three treatments. The result of data analysis shows pretest-posttest statistical analysis indicates p=0.000 where this value is lower than Sig. 0.05 so that Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that the language politeness and cooperativeness-based online learning model is effective to be used in the Indonesian Language lecture at the PGSD Study Program. Abstrak Keefektifan Model Pembelajaran Daring Berbasis Kekooperatifan dan Kesantunan Berbahasa dalam Perkuliahan Bahasa Indonesia. Secara umum, model pembelajaran daring pada pelaksanaan perkuliahan di masa pandemi corona virus disease 2019 (Covid-19) ini lebih terfokus pada penggunaan strategi pembelajaran era digital ataupun perangkat aplikasi yang digunakan sebagai media belajarnya. Padahal, strategi berkomunikasi yang efektif dalam kegiatan perkuliahan hendaknya juga mendapat perhatian khusus. Penggunaan bahasa yang santun dan kooperatif saat berkomunikasi merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung keberhasilan proses perkuliahan secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektivan penggunaan model pembelajaran daring berbasis kesantunan dan kekooperativan berbahasa dalam perkuliahan Bahasa Indonesia pada Program Studi PGSD. Keefektivan diukur dari tingkat hasil belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan tersebut. Sebanyak 40 orang mahasiswa semester IV tahun akademik 2019/2020 sebagai sumber data dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode R&D dengan desain model eksperimen one-group pretest-posttest design yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga kali treatment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada data nilai pretest dan posttest hasil belajar mahasiswa maka diperoleh hasil analisis statistik Pretest-Posttest Topik I, Topik II, dan Topik III masing-masing p=0.000 yang menyatakan p<0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran daring berbasis kekooperativan dan kesantunan berbahasa efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan Bahasa Indonesia di Program Studi PGSD. Kata-kata kunci: model pembelajaran daring, kekooperatifan berbahasa, kesantunan berbahasa, perkuliahan bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the function of the language politeness of the teacher in implanting character values to students in the primary school. The research was carried out at the primary school of SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut, Kota Palangka Raya. A qualitative method was used in this research with a pragmatics research design. The pragmatics design used to analyze the data was based on the principle of politeness which included six maxims and five components of speech situation. The data were obtained from conversational discourse between teachers and students containing language politeness in teaching and learning activities at the school. Then the data were also supported by doing interviews with involved teachers and by reviewing assessment report documents of students to relate the function of the teacher's language politeness with student character values of being attained. The data obtained using the triangulation technique were analyzed and presented by the qualitative descriptive technique. The results showed that there were 150 items of teacher language politeness which provided very good functions in implanting character values to students as an effort to build character for primary school students

Abstract

The development of online-based English learning design has now become a demand for teachers in line with the increasing development of information and communication technology. Junior high school students who are millennial young generation are inevitable from their needs in requiring gadgets as smart communication tools. This phenomenon must be exploited by teachers of 21st century as a moment of educating students through elearning by facilitating them to understand online-based learning materials. On this basis, online learning design is very important and must be mastered by professional teachers in this digital era, so that the learning process of students is not restricted to be implemented. This article is a non-research type, namely a report of training on developing elearning-based English learning design that took the subject of seven English teachers in the secondary school of SMP Negeri-3 Palangka Raya. The results achieved were increased knowledge, attitudes, motivation and abilities of teachers in developing and implementing online English learning design so that teachers had competitiveness and competence in the application of science and technology in the community, especially in developing learning designs on elearning-based materials.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the direct instruction (DI) approach to improve the knowledge and skill of classroom teachers at SDN-5 Panarung and SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut Kota Palangkaraya in implementing humanist literacy education in the integrated thematic learning at the two primary schools. Ten classroom teachers at SDN-5 Panarung and SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut taken as the sample by using purposive sampling technique from the total population. This study used a quantitative method with an experimental design model of one group pretest-posttest design. The results of this study found the average grade of the Teachers ability only 61 in the pretest evaluation, then it increased to 78.5 in the posttest. Both values were statistically analyzed using t-test calculation, where the result showed t-count (2.800) is greater than t-table (1.833). Thus, it can be concluded that the DI approach is effective in increasing the knowledge and skill of classroom teachers at SDN-5 Panarung and SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut Kota Palangkaraya by implementing humanist literacy education within the integrated thematic learning at both primary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the constructivism approach in training to the implementation of the language learning strategy for teachers of Dayak Ngaju language at SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut and SDN-5 Panarung, Kota Palangkaraya. Six teachers from SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut and SDN-5 Panarung were selected as the sample by using purposive sampling technique from the total population. This study used a quantitative method with an experimental design model of one group pretest-posttest design. From the result of the data analysis using the Wilcoxon statistical test, it can be concluded that the constructivism approach is effectively used in training the teachers by the implementation of the language learning strategy in teaching Dayak Ngaju language subject in both primary schools. This is depicted by the teachers’ attainment on the pretest score was 62.5 and the attainment in the posttest reached 81.6 where the significance test result in the statistical analysis shows the Sig.value of p < 0.05 so that Ho is rejected.

Abstract

The Community Empowerment Program (PPM) is one of the schemes in community service activities at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Palangka Raya (FKIP UPR). This PPM activity was carried out by the Lecturer Team from FKIP UPR by giving training and mentoring to six-classroom teachers of primary school at SDN-2 Panarung, Kota Palangka Raya to develop a language learning model based on text and CLIL genres containing artifact discourse in Indonesian language learning in the primary school level. From the result of the evaluation given to the knowledge and skill of teachers before being given training in the PPM activity, they only obtained an average score of 65. Furthermore, after being given training and assistance in the PPM activity, the teachers’ score increased to an average of 85.7. Thus, the results of this PPM activity can improve the knowledge and skill of classroom teachers at SDN-2 Panarung to develop the text genre- and CLIL-based language learning model containing artifact discourse in Indonesian language learning in the primary school level
