Abstract

Implementation of Community Service activities with the title "Development of Whatsapp Broadcaster Applications and Training at the ABC Calistung Sidoarjo Course Institute" was carried out on March 1, 2021 to October 31, 2021. Meanwhile, the implementation of applications, training and mentoring was carried out online on July 27, 2021 The results that have been achieved in the implementation of this PkM are Services in the form of training and assistance in using the Whatsapp Broadcaster application, the product is in the form of the Whatsapp Broadcaster application that has been installed on partner servers, intellectual Property Rights in the form of Copyrights that are still in the form of a submission draft.

Abstract

Indonesia holds the third position in global coffee bean supply, with a 3.3% increase in demand in 2021 according to ICO data. In line with ICO Resolution 407, coffee bean quality must be high, indicated by a 12.5% moisture content through drying processes. Mechanical drying is faster than traditional methods, thus becoming the focus of this research. This study implements an IoT-based monitoring system for coffee bean drying equipment. The aim is to create and implement a monitoring system for temperature (0°C - 70°C) and electrical energy consumption (kWh) in coffee bean drying, displayed on the ThingSpeak dashboard. Test results show that the temperature monitoring system using DHT22 sensors at the inlet and outlet of the rotary dryer tube has an average error of 2.1%. The energy monitoring system using PZEM-004T has a 0% energy measurement error. These results indicate a reliable monitoring system that enables remote monitoring via the internet. Furthermore, the study tests manual (on/off) and fuzzy logic control methods to achieve 12% moisture content in coffee beans. The fuzzy logic control method demonstrates better temperature stability and 11.2% cost savings in operational expenses. This research benefits coffee farmers by facilitating efficient monitoring of the bean drying process, and recommends the use of the fuzzy logic control method for stable temperature and lower operational costs.

Abstract

E-wallet merupakan aplikasi yang memiliki fungsi sama dengan uang tunai pada umumnya, tetapi digunakan melalui smartphone. Di Indonesia, saat ini sudah banyak generasi yang mulai menggunakan e-wallet sebagai alternatif solusi pembayaran mereka. Dengan adanya beberapa pembatasan pandemi COVID-19, pemanfaatan teknologi terbaru yaitu e-wallet sebagai alternatif pembayaran non-tunai sangat berguna dan lebih efektif untuk masyarakat, sehingga penggunaan e-wallet di Indonesia mengalami perkembangan pesat dalam 5 tahun terakhir. Pada penelitian ini pembahasan difokuskan pada masalah transaksi menggunakan e-wallet sebagai solusi alternatif pembayaran modern dengan tujuan memberikan literasi kepada masyarakat perihal pemanfaatan e-wallet di era pandemi melalui sarana video. Metode penelitian menggunakan angket daring dengan responden sebanyak 50 orang dari usia belasan hingga lebih dari 30-an, dengan profesi murid, mahasiswa, dan pekerja. Data tersebut akan digunakan sebagai landasan terhadap pemberian literasi perihal pemanfaatan e-wallet di era pandemi. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil bahwa penggunaan e-wallet pada era pandemi di kalangan masyarakat sudah sangat populer. Video literasi digital yang dibuat sudah informatif dan dapat juga dilakukan seminar, penyuluhan, pembuatan poster atau pamflet untuk lebih mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan e-wallet baik untuk konsumen maupun penjual.

Abstract

The sale and purchase of flea goods is a process that we often find in the community. However, these transactions still use the traditional method, where buyers go around looking for people who sell flea goods, so they spend a lot of energy, money, and thought in the transaction. This study aims to make it easier between sellers and buyers in making transactions of any items needed to calculate the weight of the item, especially in flea-goods transactions, so that buyers or consumers do not bother to carry scales everywhere when making transactions. This technology combines real and virtual objects in a real environment, runs interactively in real time, and there is an integration of weight measurement where this application is based on a website, so that it can be run on various smartphones with various specifications and can reach people who need this application. This feature is executed by entering the dimensions of the item, which in the current research focus, the item used is a bottle and then it is submitted so that the results of the calculations on the server side are obtained in the form of the weight of the junk item. Calculation of the weight of the goods using the Naïve Bayes method which aims to predict the results of calculations with a comparison of variables from the dataset that has been determined by measuring the weight of the goods. The accuracy results obtained are 100%.

Abstract

With the increasing demand for electrical energy in the household and industrial sectors, reliability in the distribution of electrical energy is very important. Disturbance in electricity distribution is a routine problem that will always occur in the field. To improve the quality of service, readiness in overcoming distribution disturbances is needed, for example by knowing the disturbances that will occur in the field. This study was conducted to solve this problem by applying the Knowledge Growing System (KGS) method in predicting the type of electricity distribution disturbance that occurred in the PLN unit. In this study, the scope of the research object is limited to PLN units in the South Surabaya area. This prediction is done by recognizing the pattern of disturbances that occur every month based on data taken in 2020. This method was chosen because it is an intelligent agent that can generate its knowledge through observing certain phenomena so that it can produce its own knowledge in making predictions. In this study, 5 patterns of electrical disturbances were used at the location of the electricity distribution. From the results of calculations and analysis using the KGS method, it was found that the prediction of electrical distribution disturbances in the form of animal disturbances with the highest degree of confidence value (DoC) occurred at the Sukolilo substation of 34.77%. Predictions of other disturbances in the form of "material" disturbances occur in Rungkut, Waru, and Darmo Grand feeders with DoC values ​​of 28.33%, 29.72%, and 34.72%, respectively.

Abstract

Para siswa SMK pasti memiliki keinginan untuk nantinya dapat berkarya didunia industri dan salah satu contohnya adalah industri penerbangan. Akan tetapi banyak dari para siswa akan sulit untuk memahami dunia industri penerbangan ini dikarenakan adanya keterbatasan dalam wawasan dunia tersebut. Pada sistem kelistrikan pada pesawat terbang, terdapat beberapa sistem yang perlu dipelajari secara khusus dan salah satu contohnya adalah Integrated Drive Generator (IDG). Sistem IDG ini sangat penting untuk dipelajari dikarenakan dengan sistem ini maka frekuensi generator pada pesawat akan tetap berputar pada kecepatan yang konstan meskipun kecepatan pada mesin utama pesawat terbang berubah-ubah setiap saat.  Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi tentang IDG pada sistem kelistrikan pesawat terbang kepada siswa SMK Penerbangan AAG Adisutjipto. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan pemberian edukasi tentang dunia avionik penerbangan dengan beberapa modul sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Untuk mendapatkan umpan balik dari peserta, tim pengabdian membagikan kuesioner. Para peserta menunjukkan antusiasme yang besar selama kegiatan sehari penuh dan dapat memahami materi yang diberikan oleh pemateri. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil menambah dan memperluas pengetahuan siswa tentang IDG dalam sistem kelistrikan pesawat terbang.

Abstract

Objek udara yang terbang rendah dengan ketinggian rendah dari permukaan bumi dengan tujuan menghindari deteksi Radio Detection and Ranging (Radar) dapat mengindikasikan tindakan permusuhan dan dikategorikan sebagai ancaman terhadap kedaulatan negara di udara. Sebagai antisipasi, teknik Visual Aircraft Recognition (VACR) telah dikembangkan oleh Angkatan Darat Amerika Serikat untuk melatih para prajuritnya untuk mengenali dan mengidentifikasi objek udara dari jarak jauh menggunakan binokular. Namun, dengan beragamnya jenis dan nama objek udara memberikan beban kognitif dan dapat berdampak pada ketidaktepatan dalam mengenali dan mengidentifikasi objek udara yang diamati. Dalam artikel ilmiah dilakukan kajian pemanfaatan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk membangun Intelligent VACR (I-VACR) System melalui metode-metode dalam machine learning yakni Jaringan Syarat Tiruan, Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC), K- Nearest Neighbor (KNN), dan Support Vector Machine (SVM). Hasil-hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa keempat metode tersebut prospektif diaplikasikan sebagai elemen cerdas I-VACR.

Abstract

Air defense radar is a system that detects the presence of one or more air objects at a certain distance, altitude, and direction. One type of air defense radar used by the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) is the Thomson TRS 2215D. An essential part of the radar is the rotating part of the radar antenna support called the antenna pivot. The rotation of the radar antenna must constantly be monitored and controlled for rotational stability at a speed of 6 Rotations per Minute (RPM) with a maximum wind speed of 120 km/h to prevent damage to the driving gear. Stormy weather with high wind speeds can cause the rotation speed of the radar antenna to be uncontrollable, which can cause damage. The solution offered in this study is to build a safety system that will lock the radar antenna automatically when the wind speed is detected to exceed tolerances and maintain the security of the radar antenna and its support system. The safety system was designed using an ESP32 Wi-Fi device equipped with an anemometer wind speed sensor, a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) monitor, a Direct Current (DC) motor, and a Blynk Internet of Things (IoT) application. The test was conducted in a simulation using a multi-meter and oscilloscope measuring instrument. Testing the radar antenna's safety system prototype on a laboratory scale shows that the safety system can work as designed. The system can lock the radar antenna when the airflow is set at a speed of 54 km/h or 15 m/s, communication with the Blynk server works well, and the ESP32 device can transmit data at a maximum distance of 14 meters.

Abstract

The rapid development of object detection technology has opened new opportunities in the healthcare sector, especially in early cancer detection. This paper presents a deep learning-based breast cancer detection system using ultrasound images. The primary goal of this study is to create a model that can effectively differentiate between malignant and benign breast tumors, assisting in early diagnosis. The proposed system employs the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm with You Only Look Once version 5 (YOLOv5) architecture, which is renowned for its high speed and accuracy in object detection tasks. A dataset comprising 10,954 ultrasound images was used to train the model, with 70% allocated for training, 20% for validation, and 10% for testing. The study reveals that the model achieves a high accuracy rate of 92.8% for malignant tumor detection and 99.1% for benign tumors, with precision rates of 99.6% for malignant tumors and 97.5% for benign tumors. These results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed model as a reliable tool for early breast cancer detection. The findings highlight the potential of deep learning in medical image processing, suggesting that this technology could be further developed into an accessible, efficient early detection system for breast cancer in clinical settings. Future research could explore the integration of additional imaging modalities and the application of this model in real-world healthcare environments

Abstract

Windows Vista merupakan produk yang dirilis oleh Microsoft setelah Windows XP dan sebelum Windows 7. Publik dan media memiliki ekspektasi yang tinggi terhadap rilis Microsoft Windows Vista pada tahun 2007, namun tertunda dan kualitasnya kurang baik bagi pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kegagalan Proyek Windows Vista yang terbagi menjadi dua aspek Manajemen Proyek Teknologi Informasi (TI) yaitu waktu dan kualitas. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan mempelajari literatur yang ada pasca proyek pengembangan perangkat lunak Windows Vista. Pada aspek Project Quality Management, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Windows Vista memiliki kualitas yang buruk yang dapat dianalisis dari proses manajemen kualitas yang tidak akurat sehingga berdampak pada aspek Project Time Management dan aspek manajemen lainnya. Manajemen Waktu Proyek yang tidak tepat mengakibatkan pengembangan perangkat lunak Windows Vista dan penundaan peluncurannya.
