Abstract

Corrosion is a chemical phenomenon that occurs in metal materials in a wide variety of environmental conditions. always good corrosion causing losses losses that are directly or indirectly impacted. one way of corrosion prevention is the addition of corrosion inhibitors. Corrosion inhibitor is a substance that is added to the medium to prevent or reduce the rate of corrosion of metals in the environment . In this study , the authors make use of a corrosion inhibitor cocoa peel extract from the rind of the results of maceration with the variation of the cocoa peel extract concentration was 0 ppm , 500 ppm , 1000 ppm , 1500 ppm and 2000 ppm in sea water media using specimens of carbon steel pipe A53,The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the concentration of cocoa peel extract against corrosion rate and efficiency of inhibitors that occur in the carbon steel pipe A53 and analysis form macroscopic and microscopic corrosion that occurs in the specimen by using a camera and test equipment microscope with 200x magnification. From the results of this study concluded that there are significant variations in the concentration of the tea leaf extract against corrosion rate of carbon steel pipe A53. At 2000 ppm concentration variation, occurred average value of the lowest rate of corrosion inhibitor that is 0,2384 mdd and highest efficiency 83.37 %.

Abstract

Panel composite materials using filler coffee waste particles with various particle sizes have been analyzed for effect. The matrix used is 2504APT eterset polyester resin, and the method used in making composites is the vacuum method. Particle size variations used are using mesh sizes 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70. Mechanical strengths such as tensile strength and bending strength are compared and evaluated. Interface analysis was also carried out by using a micro-test to determine the microstructure of the test specimens. The tensile strength obtained by the most significant value on the 50 mesh is 24.89 MPa, while the highest bending strength value is in the 60 mesh of 50.9 MPa. The addition of coffee waste particles with various sizes influences the mechanical properties of the coffee waste composite panel. Abstract

Atmospheric corrosion is corrosion or degradation of materials in the atmosphere that occurs naturally. The corrosion rate varies for different materials and is influenced by several environmental factors, such as: humidity, temperature, and pollutant (NOx, SOx, Cl-, CO2). This research studies the corrosion rate of low carbon steel ASTM A36 in kabupaten Jember environment with different area. The location of research was done in the side of beach (Watu Ulo), the centre of city (Gajah Mada street) and the mountain range (Rembangan). The dimension of test racks and specimens for atmospheric exposure were prepared in accordance with the ASTM G 50 – 76. The cleaning of all corrosion products were done in accordance with the ASTM G 1- 90. The result shows that the highest corrosion rate is in the Watu Ulo as big as 2,82 mpy, than Gajah Mada street as big as 0,919 mpy. The lowest corrosion rate is in Rembangan as big as 0,844 mpy. From the micro photographs, it is found that low carbon steel ASTM A36 corrode by uniform and pitting formation. Keywords: atmospheric corrosion, uniform, pitting

Abstract

HCS (Hydrocarbon Cracking System) is an innovation to improve torque and fuel. with copper catalyst pipe used as a tool to accelerate the process of fuel cracking in the combustion chamber. This study aims to obtain data comparison of the performance of 4-step fuel motor with variation of catalyst pipe length with standarts conditions as a comparison. In the research done by testing that is torque. From the results of research conducted torque value has increased with the use of catalyst pipe, the highest torque occurs in the condition of the catalyst pipe with a length of 200 mm with a torque of 9.32 Nm at RPM 3040. For catalysts with a length of 150 mm and 100 mm the value of torque obtained is 9.23 Nm and 9.16 Nm, while the standard torque condition is only 9.13 Nm. The cracking process in the catalyst pipe causes CH to split fuel into C and H atoms, in the presence of H atoms on fuel, the fuel mixture becomes more ideal and combustible in the combustion chamber. The length of the catalyst pipe will increase the amount of hydrocarbons and purity of hydrogen and carbon without the content of H2O. the ideal fuel composition will increase combustion and maximum torque value Keywords: HCS, Torque, Cracking System, Length of Catalyst

Abstract

Komposit ampas kopi dengan berpenguat serat E-Glass Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) merupakan material baru yang menarik untuk diteliti. Keunggulan menggunakan ampas kopi (SCG) ini adalah harga yang murah, ramah lingkungan, dan mempunyai karakteristik dapat menetralkan bau yang tidak sedap. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik kekuatan tarik komposit berpenguat serat E-Glass dan menggunakan partikel ampas kopi (filler). Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 5 varian lapisan lamina, kemudian dengan menggunakan partikel ampas kopi dan tanpa partikel ampas kopi, variasi 1 lamina serat E-glass tanpa SCG dan 1 lamina serat E-glass menggunakan SCG sampai 4 lapisan serat E-Glass. Pembuatan spesimen komposit menggunakan metode vacuum molding dengan tebal spesimen mengikuti ketebalan serat E-Glass. Pengujian kekuatan tarik menggunakan standart ASTM D 3039. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kekuatan tarik terbesar pada 1 layer serat E-Glass tanpa ampas kopi dengan nilai 118,92 MPa. Sedangkan kekuatan tarik terendah pada 4 layer serat E-Glass tanpa ampas kopi dengan nilai 62,26 MPa, sedangkan kekuatan tarik terbesar menggunakan ampas kopi pada 1 layer serat E-Glass didapatkan nilai 94,1 MPa, sedangkan yang terkecil pada variasi 0 layer E-glass dengan ampas kopi 7 MPa. Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan bahwa ampas kopi dapat menurunkan kekuatan Tarik, karena sifat dari ampas kopi sendiri yang mudah beraglomorasi mengakibatkan pembasahan yang kurang sempurna terhadap partikel ampas kopi. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the distribution channel, analyze the factors of strength, weakness, opportunity and threat in marketing eggs and formulate a marketing strategy used in laying hens in Kediri Regency. The number of samples taken were 30 samples consisting of 15 breeders and 15 breeders who took eggs in the Kediri district. Sampling was by purposive sampling, which was purposely chosen based on certain criteria determined by the researcher, for analysis of the data itself using SWOT analysis and continued QSPM analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the distribution channel for marketing chicken eggs in Kediri Regency is: (Pattern 1 = Farmer → Wholesaler (Poultry Shop) → Medium Merchant → Retailer → Consumer), (Pattern 2 = Farmer → Medium Merchant → Retailer → Consumers) and (Pattern 3 = Farmers → Retailers → Consumers). An alternative strategy that is appropriate for marketing chicken eggs in Kediri district is by using a strategy (ST) that is using internal power to overcome external threats so that the threat will not have too much negative impact by maintaining and maintaining the quality of eggs produced and increasing production through prevention of chicken disease so that livestock businesses can be sustainable. The strategies that need to be implemented first by the farm while maintaining and maintaining the quality of the eggs produced. Keywords: Marketing Strategies, Eggs, Laying Hens, SWOT Analysis.

Abstract

Nanopartikel adalah partikel yang berskala nanometer atau 10-9. Dalam penelitian ini nanopartikel ZnO berhasil terproses dengan metode DC Thermal Plasma, ukuran partikel yang dihasilkan cukup bagus. Kombinasi plasma sangat mempengaruhi morfologi nanopartikel, proses yang terjadi hanya memerlukan sangat singkat. Dimulai dari serbuk Zn yang didorong untuk masuk ke dalam arc plasma dan terjadi proses liquid, oxidation and kristalin. Ukuran kristal yang dihasilkan untuk puncak hkl tertinggi dimulai dari 42-50nm. Parameter kisi kristal yang diperoleh adalah a= 0,2610347nm dan c= 0,782935. Struktur kristal yang dihasilkan adalah hexagonal dan space group P63MC.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pasien di RS Aura Syifa I, Kediri serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap loyalitas pasien di RS Aura Syifa I, Kediri.Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif.Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk analisis data adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Populasi yang digunakan adalah pasien yang datang berobat ke RS Aura Syifa I, Kediri minimal 2 kali kunjungan dengan tingkat pendidikan minimal SMA/sederajat.Jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling non probability yaitu sampling kebetulan (accidental sampling). Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan oleh RS Aura Syifa I, Kediri terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien maupun loyalitas pasien yang berobat ke RS Aura Syifa I, Kediri. Peningkatan kualitas pelayanan menjadi kunci utama untuk RS Aura Syifa I, Kediri untuk dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien yang datang berobat ke RS Aura Syifa I, Kediri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intrinsic compensation and extrinsic compensation to job satisfaction of Civil Servants of Blitar City Education Office either partially or jointly. In doing research the method used is descriptive quantitative with data analysis using multiple linear regression. The respondents as a sample of 80 of 100 employees in the Education Office of Blitar City. The result of hypothesis test shows that partial compensation effect of intrinsic compensation has significant positive effect and extrinsic compensation has positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. But these two independent variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of Civil Servant of Education Office of Blitar City. The dominance of the effect of intrinsic compensation and extrinsic compensation on job satisfaction is smaller than the influence of other factors not examined.

Abstract

Al-SiC is a composite composed of AA6061 as a matrix and SiC as a reinforcement particle. The variation of mass added will affect the mechanical properties of the composite because Al-SiC is hardenable, which means that its mechanical properties can be improved by adding the reinforcement component. However, an excessive portion of SiC leads to a decrease in mechanical properties. The purpose of this study was to find the optimal composition of the addition of SiC into the aluminium matrix to gain maximum tensile strength and hardness. The mass fraction variation that would be used in this composite was the addition of 6%, 8%, and 10% SiC with the addition of 1% Mg as a wetting agent. The mixing process used the stir casting method. The process of adding SiC and Mg was carried out by melting the aluminium while stirring it for a certain time before it went to the furnace. The ASTM E8/E8M standard was used for observing the tensile strength of the specimens. Machining was carried out before testing. The specimens were also tested for hardness using the Rockwell hardness method. The result shows that the addition of SiC at the amount of 6%, 8%, and 10% SiC increased the ultimate tensile strength by154.10 MPa, 175.01 MPa, and 198.14 MPa, respectively. Similarly, the hardness also increased up to 30.1 HRF, 48.1 HRF, and 66 HRF, respectively. Microstructure observation also confirmed that a 10% SiC fraction results in less defect and good wettability. The addition of 10% SiC and 1% Mg resulted in maximum tensile strength and hardness and the best microstructure.
