Abstract

The number of sexual violence cases in Indonesia is increasing every year. However, only a few of the victims are willing to speak out, including on social media sites like Twitter. The study aims to determine the tendency of victims to speak by measuring the tendency of news written on Twitter through news headlines, news writers, types of sexual violence, responses to news of sexual violence revealed on Twitter, and the sustainability of the case before the law. This research method uses quantitative content analysis methods. The results of research on the tendency of sexual violence news content on Twitter show that the majority of news published does not meet the main elements of the news, and the most revealed type of violence is mental and physical sexual harassment, compared to other types of violence such as physical, sexual harassment only, sexual assault in the form of rape, prosecution or coercion of sexual activities, and forced sexual activities. Victims dominate the news writers who tell their stories via Twitter, and the rest are written by friends or relatives related to the victims. Of all the violent news stories examined, not one received a negative response. The majority responded positively, and very few responded neutrally. After the news was published on Twitter, only one case out of four continued to be processed legally. Research findings show that framing news on social media can influence people's perceptions and attitudes toward important issues

Abstract

Tulisan ini berisi tentang permasalahan pengelolaan sampah di Desa Pagerwangi yang bermasalah dengan TPS3R sehingga menimbulkan jumlah sampah yang banyak dan tercampur. Kendala tersebut disebabkan oleh kurangnya SDM pengelola TPS3R dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam memilah sampah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun kesadaran kesadaran kolektif masyarakat di Desa Pagerwangi, Lembang, Bandung dalam mengelola permasalahan sampah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. program pendampingan yang dilakukan untuk mengelola sampah dengan cara yang lebih ramah lingkungan, seperti pengadaan rumah percontohan, praktik ecobrick, dan seminar pengelolaan sampah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran kolektif masyarakat Desa Pagerwangi.

Abstract

Faktor kunci dalam memerangi kemiskinan, indeks pembangunan manusia (IPM) mengukur seberapa jauh masyarakat telah berkembang dalam hal meningkatkan standar hidup masyarakat. Modal dasar bagi suatu negara untuk keluar dari kemiskinan adalah pertumbuhan penduduknya dalam segala hal: intelektual, fisik, dan emosional. Sebagai keprihatinan dunia, kemiskinan secara ekstrim dinyatakan dalam tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan, dan menjadi fokus upaya pembangunan di setiap negara. Objek penelitian ini adalah peluang pendidikan bagi perempuan di masyarakat Sukamulya. Perempuan dari Sukamulya yang pernah bekerja sebagai TKI untuk orang Arab atau di usaha keruuk aci atau sebagai kader Posyandu menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Reduksi Data adalah langkah pertama dalam proses analisis data, dan ini melibatkan pemilihan, fokus pada pengurangan, abstraksi, dan transformasi data mentah atau data mentah yang berasal dari catatan tertulis di lapangan. Kemiskinan telah memberikan dampak komplek terhadap kehidupan masyarakat baik laki laki maupun perempuan. Baik di perkotaan maupun perdesaan di Indonesia dengan berbagai penyebabnya. Intervensi mengatasi kemiskinan membutuhakn upaya dan jangka waktu yang tidak singkat melalui pendidikan dapat dimulai dengan pendidikan anak sejak usia dini, dan berkelanjutan, melalui pendidikan inklusif dan kesetaraan gender, dalam pendidikan non formal berbasis sumber daya di masyraakat partnership goverment dan privat sector. Double Burden pada perempuan harus menjadi fokus pembangunan mengingat tugas perempuan dalam keluarga dan mayarakat berdampak bagi pembangunan generasi bangsa.

Abstract

The policy of the Freedom of Learning program by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia is currently in the spotlight and special attention of education organizers and the academic community. Philosophically and conceptually, this has been implemented by the non-formal educational institution Sanggar Anak Alam (SALAM) Yogyakarta. The purpose of the study was to analyze the SALAM learning process and the roles of the facilitators concerning the Freedom of Learning policy. This study used a qualitative approach. Research informants were selected by snowball sampling technique. The data collection process was carried out by in-depth interviews, field notes, and documentation studies. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. Triangulation was used to strengthen arguments in explaining research phenomena. Based on data analysis, it is known that SALAM had its learning model. They had a Learning Cycle as the curriculum. It also indicated that the role of teachers in SALAM included; 1) designing the curriculum according to the needs of students; 2) implementing active learning; and 3) encouraging the SALAM learning community. It followed the ideal goals of the Freedom of Learning philosophy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of the culture of peace in classes X, XI, and XII at UPI Pilot Laboratory High School. The research method used descriptive statistics with a quantitative approach. The measuring instrument used is the culture of peace scale. The sample of this study amounted to 75 students from classes X, XI, and XII. Based on the results of the research analysis, the Kruskal-wallis value is 0.400 and sig = 0.819 > α 0.05. This indicates that Ho is accepted, which means there is no significant difference in the culture of peace scores in classes X, XI, and XII. The average score of culture of peace for males is highest in class X, and the average score of culture of peace for females is highest in class XII.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media on students' conceptual understanding of flat shapes in elementary education. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent group design approach was employed, involving two groups: an experimental group utilizing AR-based media and a control group employing conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample t-tests, and independent sample t-tests. The findings indicate that AR-based media significantly enhance students' conceptual understanding, as evidenced by the higher post-test mean scores of the experimental group compared to the control group. AR media facilitates interactive content delivery and effective 3D visualization, boosting students' motivation and engagement. This study recommends further development of AR-based media for various learning subjects to support more innovative and digitally aligned teaching practices.

Abstract

Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan hubungan positif antara kecerdasan spiritual dan self-esteem (Pourfarokh, 2014; Boudlaie et al., 2022), namun studi dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Jepang di daerah tertinggal seperti NTT masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual terhadap self-esteem pada pembelajar bahasa Jepang asal NTT menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dan regresi. Sebanyak 55 responden dipilih melalui purposive sampling, menggunakan Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory (SISRI-24) untuk mengukur kecerdasan spiritual dan Self-Esteem Scale untuk self-esteem. Hasilnya menunjukkan hubungan sangat lemah antara kecerdasan spiritual dan self-esteem (r = -0,172; p = 0,209), mengindikasikan tidak adanya hubungan signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor eksternal, seperti lingkungan sosial dan kondisi psikologis, mungkin lebih berpengaruh dibanding kecerdasan spiritual dalam membentuk self-esteem pembelajar di konteks ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of outdoor learning on elementary school students' understanding of the photosynthesis concept. A quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent group design was employed, involving an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group participated in outdoor learning-based activities, while the control group received conventional teaching. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments. The results indicate that outdoor learning significantly enhances students' comprehension of photosynthesis compared to conventional methods. Additionally, students were more motivated, enthusiastic, and engaged during the learning process. The study concludes that outdoor learning is an effective approach to improving students' understanding, especially in photosynthesis topics, and recommends its broader implementation in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pelestarian terhadap budaya merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mempelajari perkembangan budaya yang berkembang pada masyarakat tertentu. Budaya juga menggambarkan perkembangan masyarakat dari masa ke masa.  Melalui penelusuran budaya   oleh generasi berikutnya diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dalam mempelajari dan memaknai hakekat, filosofis, dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalam budaya tersebut. Sebagai bagian dari ras Melayu, Muara  Enim merupakan daerah yang kaya akan peninggalan budaya baik dalam bentuk budaya benda maupun budaya tak benda. Kajian ini ini merupakan salah satu bagian dari upaya untuk  mengkaji budaya benda dan tak benda di Kabupaten Muara Enim dilihat dari posisi/letak, kondisi, makna atau hakikat serta perkembangan yang terjadi pada saat ini di masyarakat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara cara mengumpulkan literatur dan dokumen yang relevan yang dimiliki oleh pemerintah masyarakat ataupun perorangan. Selanjutnya untuk mendalami hakikat dari benda dan tak benda tersebut dilakukan wawancara dan FGD terhadap tokoh masyarakat dan pihak-pihak yang memahami nilai budaya tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah budaya benda dan tak benda yang terpetakan berdasarkan kecamatan dan jenis budaya yang ada berjumlah 1450 jenis budaya. Jumlah tersebut tersebar di 23 kecamatan di Kabupaten Muara Enim. Pada jenis budaya benda, daerah atau kawasan dengan budaya benda terbanyak berada di Kecamatan Tanjung Agung, Lawing Kidul, dan Semende Darat Ulu. Pada keseluruhan kecamatan terdapat adat/budaya yang sama, meskipun terdapat pula pada beberapa kecamatan memiliki adat istiadat yang khas yang tidak ada di kecamatan lainnya. Budaya tak benda berupa; adat istiadat, bahasa, manuskrip, permainan rakyat, teknologi tradisional, dan budaya lisan lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini meyimpulkan bahwa; 1) Kabupaten Muara Enim merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang memiliki sejarah panjang dalam perkembangan masyarakatnya yang ditandai dengan banyaknya simbol-simbol budaya baik tak benda maupun benda yang ditemukan di seluruh kecamatan. 2) Konservasi budaya masih banyak dilakukan melalui budaya tutur sehingga tidak seluruh masyarakat memahami esensi budaya tersebut dan akses terhadap informasi  tentang budaya yang masih terbatas. 3) pemaknaan metafisik produk budaya (simbolis) yang dipahami oleh “kelompok tua” hanya melahirkan budaya tanpa makna pada generasi berikutnya, dna 4) masyarakat saat ini sudah menjadi “penikmat” budaya dan bukan pelaku budaya sebagai akibat dari kesadaran dan ruang pembudayaan yang terbatas.

Abstract

The incidence of poverty in Indonesia has exhibited a marginal decrease, although it remains significantly distant from the desired objective and predominantly concentrated in rural regions. Efforts to reduce poverty should be optimized, particularly by prioritizing the economic empowerment of rural people and improving access to essential services. Poverty in Cianjur Regency, West Java Province, broadly impacted people's lives. Women in rural areas were a significantly affected group. It was among the five districts with the highest number of impoverished people in West Java. The study used secondary data analysis from 2005 to 2021 to understand poverty. This study employed a Concurrent Explanatory Design, which collected comprehensive interviews and statistical data. The researchers conducted interviews with the Head of the Neighborhood Association to gain insights into poverty at the local level. Additionally, they analyzed data from Statistics Indonesia on poverty, gender, and human development in Cianjur Regency from 2005 to 2021, spanning 16 years. The research sought to enhance comprehension of women's poverty in the region by integrating qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Human development index levels were low in Cianjur Regency due to poor development and limited gender empowerment. On average, women in the region had only 5.75 years of education, equivalent to the primary school level. The Family Life Education program was needed to empower families through education and training that suited their needs in addressing this issue. Thus, it was expected to reduce poverty and improve the condition of women in the Cianjur District.
