Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the level of continuance intention in using digital payments by students with the Expectation Confirmation Model (ECM) theory approach. The study used primary data from 100 students who use digital payments. The analysis in this study used SEM-PLS to analyze the relationship between exogenous variables and endogenous variables with the help of SmartPLS version 3. Overall, this model accounts for 54.7% of the variance in the continuity of digital payment usage intentions. An element substantially influenced by factors such as Perceived Usefulness and Satisfaction. Of these factors, Satisfaction is the most powerful predictor of continuance intention. Along with Confirmation, Perceived Usefulness also greatly affects Satisfaction. These findings will assist stakeholders in strategizing policies to offer more innovative and flexible technology products to the wider community as digital finance citizens.

Abstract

IntroductionAs the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia has the potential to develop the financial welfare of MSMEs as a driver of economic growth. However, studies on the financial well-being of MSMEs from an Islamic finance perspective are limited.ObjectivesThis study discusses the impact of Islamic financial literacy and Islamic financial behavior on the financial well-being of MSMEs, with e-payment usage as a moderating variable. MethodThis study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 200 culinary MSMEs in Semarang, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, and data analysis was carried out using the partial least squares structural equation modelling technique.ResultsThe dimensions of Islamic financial literacy (Islamic financial knowledge, financial skills, and self-efficacy) have a significant positive effect on Islamic financial behavior. Islamic financial knowledge has no significant effect on financial well-being of MSMEs, whereas financial skills and self-efficacy have a significant positive effect. Islamic financial behavior has a significant positive effect on financial well-being of MSMEs. E-payment usage does not moderate the relationship between Islamic financial knowledge and financial skills towards Islamic financial behavior. ImplicationsThis study shows the importance of Islamic financial literacy and Islamic financial behavior to improving the financial welfare of MSMEs in Indonesia. The government and Islamic finance stakeholders in Indonesia need to continue to improve Islamic financial literacy and the Islamic financial behavior of society.Originality/NoveltyThis study contributes to the development of Islamic financial literacy and Islamic financial behavior as part of efforts to improve the financial welfare of MSMEs.

Abstract

This paper focuses on understanding the role of government support and digital financial adoption mediated by financial inclusion affecting the financial performance of Central Java’s MSMEs. This paper’s quantitative explanatory approach design is based on the Resource-Based Theory (RBT). Data were collected from 220 MSME actors through a simple random sampling method and analyzed using SEM-PLS by SmartPLS. The results indicate that government support, digital financial adoption, and financial inclusion significantly affect financial performance directly and indirectly. Theoretically, this study contributes to developing the RBT theory and practically becomes a reference for stakeholders in formulating strategies to improve the financial performance of MSMEs based on digital technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how inflation and stock prices influence the financial performance of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2024. During the pandemic, the manufacturing sector faced considerable economic pressure due to mobility restrictions and supply chain disruptions. In the post-pandemic period, the sector continued to encounter challenges, particularly rising inflation and shifts in market conditions. This research adopts a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data obtained from official macroeconomic publications and companies’ annual financial reports. In this study, inflation and stock prices serve as the independent variables, while financial performance is measured using Return on Assets (ROA). The data are analyzed using multiple linear regression to assess both partial and simultaneous effects. The findings indicate that inflation does not have a significant effect on ROA, whereas stock prices have a positive and significant impact on the financial performance of manufacturing firms. Simultaneously, inflation and stock prices together influence ROA, although the explanatory power of the model remains moderate. These results suggest that during periods of economic disruption and recovery, market indicators reflected in stock prices play a more prominent role in shaping corporate financial performance than macroeconomic inflationary pressures.
