Abstract

Perkembangan industri manufaktur di Indonesia sangat pesat sehingga perusahaan-perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor manufaktur, harus bersaing dengan sengit guna memenangkan persaingan. Persaingan yang sengit harus didukung dengan penjaminan kualitas sehingga pengendalian kualitas yang baik perlu diterapkan. PT. Barata Indonesia Tegal sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pabrikasi baja untuk keperluan irigasi, seperti pipa penstock dan pintu air. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Six Sigma untuk mengukur tingkat kapabilitas proses, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) dan Yield untuk menghitung perkiraan biaya yang dikeluarkan karena adanya produk cacat dan produk bebas cacat, Seven Tools sebagai alat analisis kecacatan untuk produksi pipa penstock pada Proyek Titab dan Proyek Rotiklot, serta pendekatan 4M+IE digunakan untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan pada sistem informasi yang diterapkan di perusahaan. Berdasarkan penelitian dengan metode Six Sigma didapat nilai sigma Proyek Titab sebesar 3,64 σ dan nilai sigma Proyek Rotiklot sebesar 3,70 σ yang menunjukkan tingkat kapabilitas proses produksi masuk dalam kategori rata-rata dunia industri. Perhitungan nilai yield atau produk yang bebas cacat pipa penstock Proyek Titab mencapai 97,197% (COPQ 30,4%) dan nilai yield Proyek Rotiklot 97,561% (COPQ 29,5%). Usulan perbaikan sistem informasi yang diberikan pada perusahaan adalah dengan memberikan rancangan sistem informasi terintegrasi yang menghubungkan seluruh departemen yang berkontribusi dalam proses produksi di perusahaan.Kata kunci: COPQ, pipa penstock, six sigma, seven tools, yield

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, peran dan fungsi guru merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat signifikan. Guru merupakan bagian terpenting dalam proses belajar mengajar, baik di jalur pendidikan formal, informal maupun nonformal. Oleh sebab itu, dalam setiap upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tidak dapat dilepaskan dari berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan eksistensi guru. Di era perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK), para guru juga harus bisa memposisikan sebagai penggerak penggunaan TIK dalam proses belajar mengajar. Guru tidak sekedar harus mampu memposisikan dalam perkembangan TIK tetapi adanya kewajiban untuk menghasilkan karya tulis terutama bagi guru yang  akan mengajukan kenaikan jenjang menjadi golongan III-B ke atas.  Dalam makalah ini akan dibahas, bagaimana implementasi TIK di SMA Negeri 2 Playen Gunung Kidul dan SMA Muhammadiyah  Wonosari Gunung Kidul. Implementasi di kedua sekolah tersebut diantaranya bagaimana penggunaan   elearning dalam proses belajar mengajar dan pengunaan TIK dalam penelusuran bahan pustaka dalam pembuatan karya tulis,. Aplikasi elearning yang digunakan adalah Moodle. Moodle dapat dikonfigurasi untuk media pembelajaran dan latihan ujian CBT.  Optimalisasi guru dalam memahami TIK dapat ditingkatkan dengan mempelajari  aplikasi-aplikasi  yang digunakan dalam pembuatan bahan ajar atau soal online antara lain dengan menggunakan Ispring, Quiz creator,  Camtasia, VideoScribe dan software elearning lainnya. Abstract

Scavengers play an important role in managing waste at the TPA because it helps reduce the amount of landfill piles so that it can extend the life of the landfill. The main tool used by scavengers to collect and transport trash is a basket made of bamboo slats. The basket uses a rope that is hung on one shoulder, and some are held above the head. The purpose of community service (PkM) is to produce ergonomic baskets that can reduce complaints of physical injuries to scavengers. This is done with anthropometric data, which is measuring the dimensions of the scavenger's body related to the use of baskets to get the appropriate basket size. The dimensions of the basket obtained are the length of the base = 38cm, the top of the basket = 50cm, the height of the basket = 51cm, and the length of the basket rope = 73cm. The implementation of the results of the redesign of the basket to the scavengers showed that complaints of stiffness/horror/stiffness/stiffness on the back and waist decreased by 100%, while complaints of stiffness/horror/stiffness/aches on the shoulders/shoulders decreased by 83.33%. The statistical difference test using Wilcoxon states that there is a very significant difference between before and after the design, P_value = 0.001.

Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Aksamala Adi Andana is a company that produces health products, one of which is "Habbie" telon oil. The increasing demand for products requires companies to maintain and improve the quality of their products. But there are still many defective products that are not in accordance with the standards set by the company. The percentage of telon oil product packaging defects in the January 2020 - December 2020 period reached 5.26%, exceeding the defect tolerance limit of 2%. Types of defects in telon oil product packaging include label sticker defects, cap defects, bottle defects, and folding box defects. Based on the analysis using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method, the results of the Pareto diagram show the order of the percentage causes of telon oil product packaging defects, namely sticker label defects (55%), cap defects (21%), bottle defects (13%), and folding box defects. (11%), and the results of the p control chart show that there are 7 of the 12 period points that are outside the control limits with a value of Cp = 0.9489. Based on the analysis using the Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, the highest RPN value is 192 for the sticker label defect. The Kaizen method is used to generate proposed corrective actions for factors causing defects with the aim of reducing defective products.

Abstract

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) have a strategic role in national economic development and are one of the factors driving the improvement of the Indonesian economy. The work process for most MSMEs in Indonesia is still mostly done manually with simple equipment, unorganized workspaces, and do not pay attention to a good work environment, health, and comfort of workers while working so that many workers experience speed of physical complaints. There are many ways to make the work environment comfortable. One way that can be tried to create a healthy and comfortable work environment is to apply Ergonomic in the workplace. The purpose of counseling in three MSMEs at Rockmantic Store, Gitrys Konveksi and CV. Master Multi Jaya is to apply ergonomic by observing the behavior of workers in relation to their work related to equipment, workplace, and work environment. So that UMKM owners with this counseling can adjust their equipment and workplace to the dimensions of the human body. Workers can reach work equipment according to the position of the working time and according to their anthropometric measurements, can regulate the temperature of the work room, and adjust lighting according to the needs of human conditions and needs. It is hoped that with the application of ergonomic in the work environment, workers will become more comfortable working and can helps reduce sources of accidents, incidents, injuries, fatigue and work-related stress so that performance and production results increase.

Abstract

UD. Pandawa Tire is a UD engaged in the manufacture of tires retreaded. The production process at Pandawa Tires still often does overtime due to the number of new employees 9 people and the average target of making 60 tires every day which causes fatigue and mental and physical workload. The analytical methods used to measure the physical and mental workload of workers are Cardiovascular Load (CVL) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX). The results showed that the greatest physical workload was felt by workers with a CVL percentage of 46.1%, which was between 30% to 60% in the medium category, meaning that improvements are needed but not urgent. While the results of the measurement of mental workload showed that all workers were included in the high category, with the largest NASA-TLX score of 83.33. Correlation Test was Pearson Product Moment conducted to see the relationship between the value of the physical and mental workload received by the worker. The results of the calculation of the correlation test show that there is a relationship between CVL and NASA-TLX, although there is a correlation, but the correlation is significant in influencing each other between the amount of physical workload and mental workload felt by workers. The correlation value of r obtained is 0.672. Which means that there is a strong positive correlation between the physical workload and the mental burden felt by the Pandawa tire workers

Abstract

This research discusses about quality control of book production at CV. Solusi Offset to achieve, maintain, and improve product quality. The purpose of this research is to propose one of the quality control methods in book production at CV Solusi Offset using the seven tools and kaizen methods. The seven tools method is used to identify problems and factors that cause defects in order to find solutions for improving the quality of book products at CV Solusi Offset, while kaizen offers suggestions for improvements to these problems. The results of the check sheet show that in 20 months during the period April 2021-September 2022 that the calculation of the average proportion of defects reached 5.9%, while the company's determination of the proportion of defects is 2-3%. Based on the results of data processing and analysis of the results that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the types of defects occur in cover printing, lamination, imprecise book backs, and inverted book filling. Overall, the causes of defects are caused by irregular maintenance, poor preparation of operation strategies, human error, and environmental factors. To overcome these problems, the author proposes the application of the kaizen method (seiri, seiton, seiketsu, seiso, and shitsuke) which adopts five steps for continuous improvement of processes and products with the responsibility of all workers.

Abstract

Kusuma Mulia Plasindo Infitex is a company engaged in producing cotton fabric as its superior product. With the increasing demand for cotton fabrics, this does not necessarily guarantee in full that the resulting product is free from defects or damage. Based on preliminary observations, especially in the part of the cotton fabric production process, it was found that the product was not feasible or did not meet the standard as much as 9% of the average production a day, namely 10. 000 meters. Meanwhile, the tolerance standard applied by the company is 5%. The purpose of this study is to identify dominant defective products, identify the causes of defective products, know the limits of product quality control in the inspection section and propose improvement plans based on statistical quality control and kaizen methods. Based on the results of statistical quality control on the pareto diagram, it is seen that the most dominant defect is loose feed as 13.178 meters with a defect percentage of 49.24% produced during the 31-day observation. After observing the occurrence of defects in cotton fabrics, there are five factors, namely humans, environment, methods, materials, and machines. On the control map p, there are ten data points that are outside the upper control limit, namely at points 3,4,5,9,17,23,27,29,30, and 31. Then there are eight points that are outside the lower control limit, namely at points 7,12,13,14,18,19,25 , and 26 so it is said that the condition of the cotton fabric production process for 31 days from March 1 to March 1, 2021 has not been controlled so it is necessary to find factors causing defects that are beyond the limits of lower and upper control using fishbone diagrams. Improvements are made to the dominant defects and causes of disability by carrying out countermeasures or follow-up plans using the kaizen five M Checklist, 5W+1H and Five Step Plan methods

Abstract

UD NOK SUSI is a business unit that produces rope, the purpose of this research is to implement 5S culture and reduce waste. Waste that arises from the remains of raw materials that have accumulated in production narrows the space for the production process and workers who make excessive movements often place tools/items haphazardly. 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) to reduce waste. Stage Seiri (Brief) is an activity to separate equipment that is not needed. Stage seiton (Neat) is an activity to store goods that are fixed and so that goods are neatly arranged. The seiso (Rehearsal) stage aims to maintain cleanliness in the work environment. The seiketsu (Treat) stage is to continue carrying out activities in the form of sorting, cleaning and arranging the development of positive habits in the workplace. The shitsuke (Diligent) stage aims to get used to the 5S culture. Solutions to reduce waste can also be analyzed using value stream mapping to describe the flow of materials and information in the production process from raw materials to finished products. The VSM mapping results are used to map the PAM. Process activity mapping to map all activities in detail in order to reduce waste. Reduced wastage. sorting process, namely: untying, separating. Small spinning namely: preparing the small mill, moving the pellets. Big spinning, namely: pulling the rope, preparing the reel tool, taking the big spinning rope. Finishing namely: attaching labels. The cycle time obtained was 398.80 minutes which was previously 419.44 minutes

Abstract

UD. Sadewa Farm is a business engaged in animal husbandry and animal trading, especially cattle. After observing and interviewing, it was found that the problems that occurred at UD. Sadewa Farm, namely the planning of concentrate feed supplies that are not optimal, where there is often a shortage and excess of feed so that it can interfere with the process of raising cattle. This study aims to propose an improvement in optimal supply planning of concentrate feed ingredients using the Lot for Lot (LFL), Least Unit Cost (LUC) and Least Total Cost (LTC) methods. In addition, this study also aims to provide suggestions for improvements regarding planning for optimal concentrate feed supply control at UD Sadewa Farm. The use of cattle feed at UD Sadewa Farm uses Calfeed 131 Concentrate feed. In this study, three inventory planning methods were used, namely by using Lot for Lot (LFL), Least Unit Coast (LUC) and Least Total Cost (LTC) measurements. These three methods are used to overcome the excess and shortage of Calfeed 131 concentrate feed ingredients. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the Least Total Cost (LTC) method is the most optimal planning method used at UD Sadewa Farm. With the use of the Least Total Cost (LTC) method, there are 4 frequencies of concentrate feed purchases for one year with the first order being 278 sacks for the period January-March, 252 sacks April-June, 254 sacks for the July-September period, and 264 sacks for the October-December period with a total Total Cost IDR 1,024,054
