Abstract

Library is one of the information center , a source of knowledge and research . Library resources into place so that it can be enjoyed by many people . In a library has several processes performed one of the process is the process of returning books . In the book return process is happening right now in general are using barcode technology, barcode using the technique to facilitate the inventory record books that are in the library. At this time the library has a limited operating hours , with limited operating hours of the library can inhibit the process of returning books during the operating hours of the library was closed . to overcome these problems the need for application of automatic book return . By using the automatic book return the application process of the return of the book can be done without having to see the operating hours of the library . In the automatic book return applications can take advantage of the technological innovation that is image processing . One method of image processing is segmentation , segmentation using the technology of the book cover objects within an image can be distinguished anatara with each other .

Abstract

UD Eka is a manufacturing company who produces shoes, rubber slippers, and raw materials to produce shoes such as soles and heels. Production activites are conducted based on “made to order” and “made to stock”. Currently, company determines the selling price based on the selling price from competitor’s company. After that, company compares with the result of estimates production costs and non-production costs. Therefore, company can’t determine the selling price independently and appropriately so the company can’t calculate profit expected (mark up). Based on this problem, have made application which can help to determine the selling price use full costing’s method. The method is selected because can help company to determine the selling price and mark up by paying attention non-production costs and return on investment. Based on test results, application which have been built can generate the selling price and mark up for each product by paying attention the calculation of non-production costs and return on investment appropriately. So, the selling price can be used a reference for company to determine the selling price.

Abstract

The success of a company of course could not be separated from the role of labor as a human resources (HR) that run all sorts of activities for the betterment of the workplace. Therefore, HR must be maintained and be selected appropriately in order to show good performance and optimum. This applies to new labor and labor that has long worked in the career development process. In the election or selection of labor is often the polemics, because there is the possibility of a subjective assessment of a person so that the process is not running properly and the results achieved may not be suitable targets. Here we need a system that can handle the selection of an appropriate workforce with the competencies required by positions held in accordance with the criteria. The underlying reason that the construction of a decision support system selection this workforce. Expected that this system can assist the managers in analyzing the labor office in accordance with certain criteria. System programs to be created will help overcome the problems that occur in the company. This system can perform data maintenance processes, as well as profile matching the selection process itself. The system to be produced will be more to help decision makers and not replace them. It is hoped this system can also improve the effectiveness and efficiency of decision-making process itself. Abstract

National Hospital is a modern private hospital of international standard established in 2010 in Surabaya. National Hospital wants to integrate existing modality cardiology section with its PACS. There are three main problems in the integration process, namely: (1) PACS that there can not display the data waveform (DICOM 3.0 supplement 30), (2) there is a modality resting ECG is not standard DICOM 3.0 so it can not communicate directly with PACS, and (3) resting ECG output data in XML format instead of 3.0 DICOM supplement 30. The solution to this problem is the application of ECG viewer that is integrated with PACS. ECG viewer application can handle communication from the modality DICOM 3.0 standard, namely ultrasound and treadmills, as well as from the resting ECG modality that is not standard DICOM 3.0. Further, the application of ECG viewer can convert XML data output from the resting ECG modality into DICOM 3.0 standard supplements 30 and make PACS can display a graphic waveform of the standard DICOM 3.0 file supmen 30.

Abstract

Along with the rapid advancement of South Korea today, resulting in increased interest in the people of Indonesia to study in South Korea. One example is based on an excerpt from the article website KBRISeoul, of 70 students from Indonesia in 2004 to about 1200 students until January 2015. The basic requirement is needed when going to live in another country is a dictionary.Increasing number of users and the android operating system is open source can be used to create an Indonesian-Korean dictionary applications. Existing dictionary on android is currently still no way read hangul letters, then in the Indonesian-Korean dictionary applications that will be made there way read hangul letters and how search is offline which is expected to facilitate the users in finding the information word at any time and wherever. The methodology of research in Indonesia-Korean dictionary is using Binary Search. The advantage to using a binary search is with a data dictionary that many will be easier to look and fast search terms found.With the Indonesian-Korean dictionary applications based on Android will be able to assist the user in the search process said Indonesia and Korea said whenever and wherever

Abstract

Surabaya has great potential in the field of tourism, one corresponding to the tourism potential of Surabaya is a shopping tour. The emergence of various shopping malls and entertainment facilities are diverse, can be one of the biggest assets for Surabaya to turn into the City Shopping Tour. City Government (City Government) Surabaya, which this year plans to increase the attraction Surabaya, was not accompanied by step guide wisata.Sehingga increasing number of tourists who travel to Surabaya less informative about where and what can be obtained as a shopping tour of Surabaya. Shopping information retrieval applications in android based mobile by using the indoor map, which is a technology that uses the internet and mobile phones to access the required information to the tenant level. Today, the Internet and mobile phones are many who use it, so for applications that supported the implementation of Internet and mobile android is very important With the applications that implement the use of mobile-based technology and supported features android indoor map, is expected to solve problems and provide ease of information for tourists who want to find information on a shopping tour promo, event, tenant, products offered and tenant site plan without having to depend at the time and location as they are accessed. Abstract

Abstract: Reading and writing in Japanese isn't easy for foreigners especially Indonesian because of its script that were very different from Indonesian that uses latin script. It is said that the Japanese writing system is one of the most complex writing system in the world. Japanese language uses mixed of three script, the hiragana, katakana, and the chinese characters. We don't have a choice what script we wanted to use because each script has their own uses so even in a simple sentence, that three script could appear together. Because of that, in order to be able to read and learn Japanese language, one should learn the three of Japanese script.While Japanese learn these script at school, Indonesian should be helped by good teaching materials and peripherals. One of the peripherals that could aid the Indonesian to learn the script effectively is the touch screen smartphone. Smartphone as an aid peripheral has a benefit because it's cheap, fast, and easy to use. It has a touchscreen to aid the user how to write the script because the way to write the script matters.The evaluation showed that this application could provide convenience and greater good to aid Indonesian to learn the three Japanese scripts.

Abstract

The development of computer network technology is currently growing exponentially along with the increasing users who make use of digital content in support of mobility. For that pupose, a provider requires a storage server which provides space for storing the digital content. Network Attach Storage (NAS) is a technology that is commonly used as a storage system. It considers to be cheap and easy for implementation. This is mainly because it can be implemented in the condition of minimal resources. On the other hand, this technology is mainly running on the open source operating system, like FreeNAS and NAS4Free This paper will discuss the performance comparation between FreeNAS and NAS4Free network operating system to analize the main activity of the storage servers, i.e. data transfer, file maintenance, and the network infrastucture. In this testing process, we used windows based file sharing common internet file system (CIFS). Parameter that are involved in the analysis are delay/latency, throughput, CPU usage, memory usage, file copy, file classification, duplicate files detection and file delete on 11 different file sizes. Based on the experiment, it is concluded thats FreeNAS operating system in general shows better performance compared to the NAS4Free. However the NAS4Free requires higher CPU usage compared to the NAS4Free.
